Chapter 343 – One of the Tycoons: The Cremation King
As towering flames surged forth one after another, they abruptly split down the middle, suddenly revealing the disheveled figures in the courtyard below.
Roar! Roar! Roar!
“Damn it, which bastard did this?! How dare you ruin the hairstyle I worked so hard to grow! I’m going to kill you!” Amid the furious roars, Pang Hu couldn’t conceal his frustration, letting out a hysterical, earth-shaking bellow.
But just then, a figure shimmering with golden light strode out of the sea of flames, completely unfazed by the fiery assault. Raising both arms toward the sky, he astonishingly devoured the raging inferno.
In an instant, the scorching blaze that everyone had desperately tried to avoid vanished as abruptly and silently as it had appeared.
In the courtyard below.
Pang Hu, utterly enraged, charged into the fray against the intruder, roaring incessantly: “Was it you, you wretched old man? Damn it, die!”
“Die!!”
“Die!!!”
Witnessing this frenzied assault, Ye Kuang couldn’t help but change his expression.
After all, from his earlier clash with the newcomer, he had already gauged the opponent’s formidable strength.
In fact, the combined power of Pang Hu and the other three was no match for this intruder!
Realizing this, even if he wanted to warn them, it was already too late.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Suddenly, a black mushroom cloud erupted into the night sky, accompanied by continuous shockwaves that reverberated in their ears, sending chills down everyone’s spines.
Not only had everything around them turned to blackened dust, but the acrid stench of burning also assaulted their nostrils.
Ye Kuang’s gaze swept across the surroundings, noticing the bodyguards transforming into their werewolf forms. Yet, his eyes were inexplicably drawn to a pair of pale, slender legs.
As if sensing his stare, Sophia suddenly turned her head and scolded with a laugh, “You brat, what are you staring at? Haven’t you seen a beauty before?”
Hearing this, Ye Kuang felt somewhat embarrassed.
But when his eyes shifted back to the intense battlefield, he adopted a solemn demeanor and calmly asked, “This old man is incredibly powerful. Who exactly is he?”
His tone carried a trace of gravity.
In response, Sophia paused thoughtfully, as if carefully choosing her words, before replying with a hint of trepidation: “Beyond the borders, there were eight major factions, which gave rise to eight Tycoons. Their legacies have been passed down through generations, producing figures like the Golden Lion King, Iron Eagle King, Polar Bear King, Mulberry Blade King, Blood Prince (Blood Owl, Blood Demon, Blood Frenzy)…”
She then shuddered visibly and continued, “As for the one before us, he is one of those eight Tycoons—the ruler who dominates the Fire Burial Ridge, Cremation.”
“Cremation King?” Ye Kuang’s lips curled into a faint smile upon hearing this.
Clearly, he was growing intrigued by an expert who stood on par with the Golden Lion.
This inevitably reminded him of his past humiliations. When he had forcibly breached the Ningyuan Nation’s Supernatural Grand Arena, he vaguely recalled an old-timer named Golden Lion. If not for the Elder’s timely intervention, which had intimidated Golden Lion, he would likely have met his end long ago.
“With my current strength, I wonder how I’d fare against the Golden Lion King…” he murmured to himself, lost in thought. But who could have known that upon hearing these words, Sophia immediately whirled around, clearly finding it utterly unbelievable what Ye Kuang had just said.
Yet Ye Kuang seemed oblivious to her reaction, instead appearing eager and ready for action.
Hiss—BOOM!
Unbeknownst to them, the siege on the battlefield grew increasingly ferocious.
The four attackers, including Gao Qing, were clearly determined to bury the Cremation King for good, each exerting their utmost effort.
Pang Hu was even more savage, choosing to charge recklessly forward. His bulging muscles made him resemble a king kong, his robust physique almost terrifying to behold.
From this, it wasn’t hard to see the immense power he possessed.
Even so, as the Cremation King spat out flaming blade spirits, quietly forming a shield of fiery light, he once again forcefully repelled Pang Hu and the other three.
Sophia: “If you wish to fight, then I must suggest we all attack together. While he hasn’t fully recovered his strength, we should cut through the knot quickly and finish him.”
From the shift in her tone, it was clear she seemed to harbor a deep-seated hatred for the Cremation King, eager to see him dead.
Hearing this, Ye Kuang couldn’t help but feel puzzled inwardly.
Though he had many questions he wanted answered, given the current situation, it was no longer possible to calm the other side with mere words.
“Fine! Since this old fool dares to run rampant on our land, it’s my duty to make him see the reality!”
Roar, roar, roar!
But just as he began to move, the situation on the battlefield abruptly shifted.
A fiery gash, dozens of centimeters long, suddenly split open Pang Hu’s chest, spraying a mist of blood into the air.
“Fatso!”
“Dammit!”
“I’ll fuck your ancestors!”
Thud, thud, thud!
Immediately after, as Gao Qing roared in fury, he, Ling Yun, and the Scholar were sent flying backward together, landing dozens of yards away.
In an instant, windows shattered, the main gate exploded, and they crashed one after another into a pile of rubble.
The Cremation King, meanwhile, spat tongues of flame, licking his elongated tongue back and forth, his face twisted into a mocking sneer as if he were using a sledgehammer to crack a nut.
Witnessing this, Ye Kuang felt the hairs on his body stand on end. A surge of rage shot straight up from his chest, skyrocketing uncontrollably.
The Cremation King swept his contemptuous gaze around, sneering arrogantly, “Worthless trash, daring to challenge this king? After I deal with these ants, I’ll take my time playing you to death.”
Hearing this, Ye Kuang could no longer restrain his fury. He stormed forward, unleashing a furious barrage of combination punches.
“You dare touch my brothers! I’ll grind every bone in your body to dust!”
“Hahaha, you must be that Ye Kuang. I was just looking for you. Who knew a casual stroll would bring such a reward? Scram!”
In the blink of an eye—
Bang, bang, bang!
As the two clashed violently, the night sky echoed with the cacophony of their fierce exchange, the sounds of explosive impacts impossible to ignore.
The Cremation King, gripping flames in his hands, resembled a fire god descended. With limbs flying, he met Ye Kuang’s savage onslaught head-on.”Junior, I’ve long heard rumors about you. I originally came today specifically to find you. Who would have thought your provocation would save me the trouble of searching for a needle in a haystack? Very well! Let me test what skills you possess to have escaped unscathed from that useless Golden Lion!” Cremation King roared with laughter.
“What skills?” Upon hearing this, Ye Kuang threw a fierce punch while shouting: “Then you must first withstand my strike!”
Myriad Tribulations Undying, Earth-Shattering Shock!
