Chapter 513 – King of All Kings!

Chapter 513 – King of All Kings!

Just a few days ago, the Human Race was still the primary enemy of the Extraterrestrial Deities and the greatest obstacle to their entry into the Profound Spirit World.

But once Mu Lin’s Planet Modification Device emerged, everything changed in an instant.

Now, the Extraterrestrial Deities have discovered that the allure of the Profound Spirit World is not as great for them as it once was.

“The Profound Spirit World can allow my people to take root and thrive, but the Moon Star can do the same… Well, the Moon Star is still a bit small, but according to Mu Lin, He can modify the other planets in this star system as well.”

“At most, there will be some variations due to the distance from the sun and the unique characteristics of each planet.”

These variations mean that planets closer to the sun will have a higher proportion of fire-attribute Spiritual Energy, and the world’s temperature will be higher.

Planets farther from the solar system will have more water-attribute and ice-attribute Spiritual Energy.

Other planets are rich in minerals or are gaseous in nature.

In those places, wind and thunder-attribute Spiritual Energy, or metal-attribute Spiritual Energy, will be more prominent.

However, such conditions might pose some inconvenience for ordinary humans.

But for the diverse and peculiar Foreign Races, it’s a different story.

For example, the Fire Spirit Clan would leap for joy if placed on a planet close to the sun.

Similarly, Frost Giants or Feathered Serpents would prefer icy planets or gaseous worlds.

The world bustles with activity, all driven by profit.

Once Mu Lin’s ability to modify planets was revealed, the Extraterrestrial Deities realized that their greatest conflict of interest with humanity—was gone.

Not only was it gone, but they now needed to rely on Mu Lin.

Under such circumstances, unless they were insane or harbored deep-seated hatred for humanity, those rational Deities would not offend Mu Lin. Instead, they would go to great lengths to curry favor with him.

And this is precisely why they turned against the Overlords of the Dark Forbidden Zone.

Their actions were perfectly justified, but the Overlords of the Dark Forbidden Zone could not understand—they were still unaware of Mu Lin’s ability to modify planets.

The Extraterrestrial Deities had not shared this information with them.

The reason, naturally, was fear that the Dark Forbidden Zone, upon learning of it, would cease its unrest:

“If you don’t stir up chaos and plunge Your Majesty Mu Lin and the Human Race into crisis, how can we lend a helping hand to Your Majesty Mu Lin!”

Indeed, the Extraterrestrial Deities used the Dark Forbidden Zone as a stepping stone, hoping to forge closer ties with Mu Lin.

Unaware of the Extraterrestrial Deities’ schemes, the Overlords of the Dark Forbidden Zone could only bitterly curse these foreign Deities, predicting that they too would be hunted down by humanity.

“A bunch of short-sighted fools! Today, you aid the tyrant; tomorrow, our fate will be yours.”

“Humanity will not spare you. Those who are not of our kind will always harbor ill intentions. Once the Human Race grows powerful, they will inevitably purge you as well.”

These words stirred Heavenly Martial True Lord into action.

“Hah, we are nothing like you vile scoundrels. The Human Race never betrays its friends.”

“Bah! How many times have you betrayed others… Boom!”

Unwilling to let the Forbidden Zone Master continue, Heavenly Martial True Lord and his allies intensified their assault.

And the Foreign Races did not halt their actions either… The dangers and consequences mentioned by the Forbidden Zone Master were, of course, well understood by these Extraterrestrial Deities.

However, at present, they had no choice.

These Deities had not forgotten that humans, and even those insane Evil Gods, were not their ultimate enemies.

The terrifying calamity that had destroyed their world and forced them into exile was the true crisis.

Teaming up with the Dark Forbidden Zone to besiege Mu Lin and seize the Profound Spirit World—this decision could indeed be made and had a certain probability of success, but what then?

When the calamity that had destroyed their world struck again, what would they do?

Continue to resist? What a joke.

These Deities did not believe that occupying the Profound Spirit World would grant them the power to withstand a calamity that spanned multiple dimensions.

—The Extraterrestrial Deities never considered their own world inferior to the Profound Spirit World. Even at their peak, they had been unable to withstand that terrifying calamity affecting multiple dimensions. Temporarily occupying the Profound Spirit World and recuperating for a while would not allow them to recover even one-tenth or one-fifth of their strength.

Under such circumstances, how could they possibly resist?

As for continuing to wander, that would merely be a desperate struggle for survival.

There was more than one world in exile, and each world had more than one fleeing group. Yet, in the end, only a handful of Foreign Races arrived in the vicinity of the Profound Spirit World.

Moreover, these groups each had their own hidden dangers, and countless had gone mad.

The remaining Extraterrestrial Deities did not believe they could wander through the Void for long again, nor did they believe they would be fortunate enough to find another peaceful place.

Thus, it was not that the Alien Realm Deities failed to understand the principle of “those not of our kind must have different hearts,” but rather that they had no choice.

“In the myriad worlds, there are countless Deities and numerous powerful beings, but only Mu Lin is different. Only he holds the slightest possibility of withstanding this calamity that spans multiple dimensions.”

“If we do not wish to perish in exile, we can only place our hopes in his power.”

This was the consideration of the Extraterrestrial Deities.

However, the Forbidden Zone Master’s statement about “those not of our kind must have different hearts” still had some influence on the Extraterrestrial Deities.

Of course, this influence did not lead them to betray Mu Lin. Instead, these Extraterrestrial Deities pondered how to deepen their relationship with Mu Lin, ideally transforming him into a Deity of their own.

“I wonder if Mu Lin would be willing to unite with a maiden of our race and produce some Godchildren…”

“Mastering the Life Authority, Mu Lin can manifest countless Avatars. We could take a Divinity from the treasury and give it to Mu Lin… but this Divinity can only allow Mu Lin to assume the form of our race when using it…”

To prevent Mu Lin from harboring resentment toward their kind, these Extraterrestrial Deities contemplated many methods.

They were even distracted by these thoughts while battling the Forbidden Zone Master.

Though it might sound inappropriate, the Extraterrestrial Deities did not care whether the Dark Forbidden Zone perished.

At the very least, it was not as important as winning Mu Lin over.

Considering that Mu Lin was a member of the Human Race and had close ties with humanity, they were at a significant disadvantage in competing for his allegiance.

To mitigate this disadvantage, these Foreign Races even began exchanging ideas among themselves.

After some discussion, they indeed found a method.

“It’s virtually impossible for Your Majesty Mu Lin to relinquish his identity as part of the Human Race, but we can elevate Him to a higher status… Your Majesty Mu Lin can be the King of Kings, the God of Gods, the Lord of All Races! He is a born deity, destined from birth to rule over all realms and command the myriad saints. His identity as a human is merely one of His Avatars!”

“That’s a good proposal… Since Your Majesty Mu Lin intends to establish the Celestial Court, I believe the status of the Four Sovereigns is insufficient to reflect His majesty. He should be the higher Heavenly Emperor.”

“What do you mean ‘should’? Your Majesty Mu Lin is inherently the Heavenly Emperor. Now, He has merely returned from tribulation to reclaim His rightful throne.”

“Ahem, to be honest with everyone, I recall something. In ancient times, my race was led by a Sacred King who guided our development. Looking back now, that Sacred King’s methods were almost identical to those of Your Majesty Mu Lin. It’s highly likely that this was one of Your Majesty’s Avatars.”

“…”

Upon hearing this, many Deities were left speechless, considering the speaker utterly shameless.

Yet, despite their silent curses, someone soon followed up, saying: “Now that you mention it, I also recall that the Dawn Ancestor of my race might have been an Avatar of Your Majesty Mu Lin…”
