Chapter 114 – Still Not Dead?!!
Chapter 114 – Still Not Dead?!!
Su Hao didn’t answer, raising his blade to strike.
As Xike dodged.
‘Slipping Shadow Step’!
Su Hao instantly appeared at Xike’s side and swung his blade towards Xike’s neck.
‘Swish!’
He missed!
The moment Su Hao swung his blade, Xike used a rope to pull himself aside, dodging his attack.
Xike leaped to the high rooftop and actually dared to roar at Su Hao: ‘You are the [Nightfiend]! Bastard, give me back my [King of Manipulation]’s flesh and blood, or I’ll tear you to pieces!’
Su Hao’s mouth twitched. Was this guy crazy? Couldn’t he tell who had the upper hand now?
Su Hao’s feet immediately exploded, lunging at Xike.
Xike went mad, sprouting numerous fine threads that surged towards Su Hao, roaring, “[Nightfiend], give me back my flesh! The flesh of the [King of Manipulation] must be on you! An didn’t lie to me! Once I get the flesh, I can advance!”
“[Nightfiend]!!!” Xike roared, flinging large amounts of attacks at Su Hao.
‘Fire Ring’!
A ring of fire spread outwards from Su Hao, burning through the fine threads.
“Sizzle sizzle sizzle!”
The fine threads attacking from above and coiling around his ankles from below struck the Armor, making burning sounds.
Su Hao closed in.
‘Slipping Shadow Step’!
He flashed to Xike’s side, swinging his blade in a Horizontal Slash.
Xike, just like before, used his threads to pull himself aside, dodging Su Hao’s Long Blade.
‘Triple Burst’!
Su Hao’s feet exploded beneath him, his speed increasing significantly, and he quickly caught up to Xike.
He swung his blade!
“Poof!”
An arm fell to the ground.
Xike clutched the stump of his arm, the intense pain seeming to bring him back to a sliver of clarity.
Seeing Su Hao charging again, he quickly waved his hand, “Wait, it’s a misunderstanding! We’ve both been tricked by An! An said the [King of Manipulation] was in your hands, that was a lie to me. I’m the victim, don’t kill me, you should go after An. An set you up!”
Su Hao frowned. He had never met An, so how could An have tricked him? However, Su Hao kept a sliver of doubt in his mind. Who knew if he had overlooked something and revealed his tracks, allowing An to scheme against him?
If he ever met that An again, he wouldn’t ask any questions and would just cut off his head.
As for now, the priority was to quickly finish off this [Thread Demon].
Su Hao narrowed his eyes, contemplating his strategy.
In the span of a breath, he Burst from his feet and shot towards the [Thread Demon], swinging his blade in a Horizontal Slash!
Xike was greatly alarmed and tried to pull himself aside with his threads again.
‘Fire Ring’!
The giant ring of flames impacted outwards, instantly destroying all of Xike’s fine threads.
Xike was stunned, the hand shooting the silk froze in mid-air, his mind going blank for a moment.
However, it was precisely in this moment of stunned silence that Su Hao’s Long Blade swept across.
“Poof!”
Xike’s head was cleanly severed and fell to the ground.
Su Hao, still not at ease, reached out towards Xike’s body.
‘Fire Dragon’!
“Boom!” Flames erupted, igniting Xike’s body with a sizzling sound.
Su Hao sprayed Fire Dragon twice more, and after confirming it was charred, he turned, picked up Xike’s severed arm, and disappeared into the darkness, leaving directly.
“Has the battle over at Yashan’s side not ended yet?” Su Hao murmured.
In his Radar Perception, the battle between YashanHarmony’s Bone Demon, Deli, was still ongoing, and the affected area was growing larger.
Su Hao frowned, “I should go take a look quickly and end this battle as soon as possible!”
……
When Su Hao arrived at the location of YashanHarmony’s Bone Demon battle, he witnessed an incredibly tragic scene.
The two stood not far from each other, constantly launching attacks at their opponent, but each attack ended without effect, the resulting wounds quickly healed by their abilities.
Yashan’s eyes were bloodshot. Every time he attacked, his Rune-enhanced Long Blade cut through thick Bone Spikes, but the Long Blade’s momentum was spent by the time it reached Deli, only managing to inflict a long wound without being fatal.
The wound was repaired by Deli in just a moment.
Deli’s attacks struggled to break through the Red Light Barrier around Yashan, only managing to send Yashan flying back from a distance.
Even if the barrier was broken, the remaining force hitting Yashan’s Hardness outer shell could only create a shallow wound, which Yashan quickly repaired.
The two continued like this, back and forth, constantly depleting each other’s Blood Qi, seeing who could last the longest.
‘Hardness’ ‘Sharpness’ ‘Penetration’ ‘Corrosion’!
Yashan charged at Deli again, headlong, filled with hatred.
“Crack, crack, crack!”
He cut through countless Bone Spikes along the way, arriving in front of Deli.
‘Strong Light’!
A flash of light!
Deli instinctively closed his eyes. He was still jolted, but he wasn’t panicked at all. With his experience, he immediately generated a large amount of Bone Armor, wrapping himself tightly.
Yashan brought his blade down, bone fragments flying. He cut through Deli’s thick Bone Armor, piercing directly into flesh, and blood splattered.
However, it was useless. Deli quickly repaired the damage.
Deli swung his bone blade with great force in retaliation, sending Yashan flying far away again.
Yashan got up, prepared his Rune, and charged again.
The [Bone Demon], once impossibly distant and unmatched, now had the power to fight back. Just a little more, and he could sever his enemy’s head and complete his revenge.
‘Strong Electric Shock’!
“Zzzzt!”
As lightning flashed, Deli instinctively activated ‘Bone Spikes’ and generated a large amount of bone material, blocking his vital points.
He knew how potent this attack was. If struck by the lightning, his whole body would immediately go numb and uncontrollable, turning him into a lamb for slaughter. He had almost died to this move before.
Indeed, as the lightning flashed, Deli’s body went numb and he couldn’t move. However, Deli was very confident in his defenses. With ‘Bone Spikes’ blocking and thick Bone Armor, even the opponent’s unusually sharp Long Blade couldn’t cut him in half with a single strike. As long as he wasn’t severed, he could immediately regenerate.
With this thought, Deli’s mind settled. This round was safe!
As expected, Yashan’s Long Blade cut through the thick Bone Armor and into the flesh of his neck, severing two-thirds of the way through. It was just short of decapitating Deli, but got stuck at the last third, unable to advance further.
Yashan roared inwardly: “Cut through, damn you!”
However, he knew he had failed this time. He wouldn’t have a chance to activate his second Rune, because Deli’s bone blade counterattack was already coming, and in the next second, he would be sent flying far away.
Yashan felt helpless. Every time he attacked, the numerous Bone Spikes first slowed him down, or even pushed him back, making it impossible to get close normally.
And by the time he cleared away the Bone Spikes in front of him with his blade, he could no longer charge up and unleash his killing blow.
Each time, it stopped just short of the final third, unable to advance further.
He knew that at this level, he couldn’t kill Deli.
“Puff puff!”
But just as he was feeling disappointed again, a rock the size of a head flew from the side and hit the back of his blade hard.
“Clang~”
“Poof!”
With a crisp sound, Deli’s head flew high into the air.
As if unaware that its head was gone, its body continued to swing the giant bone blade in its hand, sending Yashan flying far away.
“Snap!”
Deli’s head rolled, and then was stepped on by a metal boot.
Deli was not completely dead yet. His dazed eyes struggled to look up, only to see a figure entirely clad in black, and a pair of cold eyes hidden within the darkness.
“Who…” Deli’s voice came out in a strange tone.
“Still not dead?” Su Hao said in surprise, then drew his blade and split the head in half.
Deli only heard a young voice before his vision split in two and plunged into darkness.
