Chapter 110: Senluo Secret Realm

Chapter 110: Senluo Secret Realm

“Congratulations, you have successfully slain Wuhuan.”

Jiang Yan crouched on the ground, panting heavily. In his elation, he even killed a Sharp Ruler Tiger to celebrate.

Returning to reality, he discovered it was already early morning the next day.

Now, all the Martial Skills he had cultivated had reached Perfection. After this Secret Realm, it was time to learn about the Martial Skills of Tianyuan Star.

“Knock, knock, knock—”

“Bro Jiang, stop cultivating already. Today is the day the Secret Realm opens.”

“Mm, I’m coming.”

Jiang Yan left his room and found all his dormmates in the living room.

Pei Qin still greeted him with a smile, while Sun He looked sullen, as if he had suffered some kind of blow.

Jiang Yan paid no mind to this and followed Cheng Wu out of the student dormitory.

“You broke through to the twenty-fifth floor?” Jiang Yan casually asked.

“Hahaha, just luck.”

Though he called it luck, Cheng Wu’s grin stretched from ear to ear.

It had to be said, this guy’s thick skin made it difficult to penetrate his Dao Heart.

But wasn’t this, in itself, a form of Dao Heart stability?

The school square was already crowded with three to four hundred students, all of whom were qualified to enter the Secret Realm.

The vice-principal stood on the podium, continuously spouting meaningless words.

However, his final remarks were somewhat passionate and inspiring.

“Damn it, let’s crush those bastards from Golden Radiance Academy! Our Silver Radiance Academy never admits defeat!”

Looking at it this way, the middle-aged vice-principal on the podium was also a man of strong emotions.

“Your Silver Radiance Academy and Golden Radiance Academy have such similar names. Is there some history between them?”

While the principal on stage spoke endlessly, Jiang Yan below felt a bit bored and quietly asked.

“Silver Radiance Academy and Golden Radiance Academy actually originated from the same academy, called Sacred Radiance Academy. Back then, due to ideological disagreements between factions, Sacred Radiance Academy split into the gold and silver branches. That was eight hundred years ago.”

“Because of this, for the past eight hundred years, the gold and silver academies have been secretly competing, determined to outdo each other. Yet, at the same time, they stand united against outsiders, not allowing anyone to bully them. They’re like a pair of quarrelsome lovers.”

Cheng Wu commented.

“I see.”

Jiang Yan didn’t speak further, his thoughts already wandering far beyond the clouds.

An hour later, the principal finally finished explaining the precautions and signaled that they could now enter the Secret Realm.

“Alright!”

The students below cheered, having finally waited for the Secret Realm to open.

“Hahahaha, last time, the spirit herb I accidentally discovered was snatched away by those dogs from Golden Radiance Academy. This time, I, Liu Yang, will definitely reclaim everything that belongs to me!”

“When the Secret Realm opens, it will be the day I, Qi Chong, soar to greatness!”

“I have a feeling that this time, I will follow in the footsteps of the ancients, stumble off a cliff, encounter a Miracle, inherit the Martial God’s Legacy, and rise to prominence from there!”

“Damn, are you all writing novels here? In my opinion, I’m the one with the greatest hope of soaring!”

The students rubbed their hands in anticipation, all eagerly looking forward to the Secret Realm, believing they were the chosen protagonists of Heaven’s Mandate, destined to obtain Opportunities and defy the heavens to change their fate.

On the podium, the principal held his forehead and sighed, “Sigh, should our Silver Radiance Academy ban those trashy novels? They’ve driven these kids crazy.”

Finally, he offered one last piece of advice, urging all students to compete but not kill each other. They could strike harder against students from Golden Radiance Academy and unite to resist external enemies at critical moments, but they must never fight among themselves.

In a sealed room far away, a man with jet-black hair but a face etched with deep wrinkles sat in his seat, quietly watching the surveillance footage on the screen, a faint glimmer of anticipation hidden in his eyes.

On the screen, the figures of Jiang Yan and Pei Qin were magnified several times, almost filling the entire display.

“I thought there would only be one variable, but looking at it now… Hah, this is getting even more interesting.”

Paper and a pen materialized out of thin air on the desk, and the man began writing and sketching incessantly.

If one looked closely, they would see several large characters boldly written at the top of the paper.

—”Human Race Martial Dao: Individual Chapter”

“I wonder which of those two little ones will devour the other?”

The man chuckled as the paper quickly filled with text.

Before departing, the vice-principal delivered another lengthy speech, which took another ten minutes.

“Alright, the Senluo Secret Realm is officially open. Good luck to all!”

The vice-principal extended a finger, his gaze sharpening as he made a sweeping motion in the air.

Soon, a rift appeared in space, from which a faint green glow emerged.

Jiang Yan followed the crowd, waiting for about five minutes before finally entering the Senluo Secret Realm.

As soon as he stepped into the realm, the scenery before him transformed entirely.

The sky was a clear blue, with birds chirping and insects humming. Everything seemed peaceful and serene, making it hard to believe this was a perilous secret realm—it felt more like a scenic tourist destination.

The spatial stability of the secret realm seemed quite fragile. Jiang Yan had been walking alongside Cheng Wu, but upon entering the realm, he found himself alone.

“I wonder just how vast this secret realm is.”

Jiang Yan soared into the air, but upon reaching a height of 30 meters, he suddenly felt as though his body was bound by invisible chains, preventing him from ascending any further.

“There’s actually a height restriction.”

Jiang Yan knew very little about the secret realms of Tianyuan Star. He was unaware that each secret realm was essentially a small world, each with its own set of rules that all who entered must abide by.

Unless, of course, one was powerful enough to defy the rules of that world.

Jiang Yan was certainly not at that level yet, but he didn’t dwell on it, continuing to fly at a low altitude instead.

Half an hour later.

“It seems this secret realm is quite spacious. I wonder how it compares to Blue Star?”

Soon, from high above, he spotted a man in pale golden school uniform engaged in a fierce battle with a one-horned serpent.

Although school uniforms were rarely worn under normal circumstances, everyone donned their respective academy’s uniform in the secret realm to distinguish themselves. Jiang Yan was no exception.

Silver Radiance Academy’s uniform was a light silver color, so judging by that, the other person was likely from Golden Radiance Academy.

Jiang Yan paid no mind to which academy the man belonged to. In the secret realm, all competition was fair game—treasures belonged to the strong.

“Heh heh heh…”

Jiang Yan added a sinister laugh for effect, making himself appear more like a villain.

“Hand it over!”

He swooped down, snatched a red fruit from a fruit tree, and swiftly stored it in his spatial ring.

Hiss!

“You brat, how dare you steal my treasure!”

Both the one-horned serpent and the man roared in anger, abandoning their fight in unison to attack Jiang Yan from the left and right.

Jiang Yan merely gestured with a single finger. In an instant, two saber beams shot out, piercing through the one-horned serpent and the man from Golden Radiance Academy from both sides.

The one-horned serpent was killed instantly, while the man coughed up blood, his aura growing feeble.

A moment later, he exclaimed in surprise.

“Huh? I’m not dead?”

“Thank you for your mercy, Your Excellency!”

The man below, though robbed of his opportunity, dared not show any anger.

Jiang Yan ignored him, his figure vanishing from the spot in an instant.

He adhered to two principles when seizing treasures:

First: Seize but do not kill.

Second: Those who defy me may disregard the first principle.

The man struggled to his feet, swallowed a bottle of red potion, and his injuries began to slowly heal.

“Hiss, with such strength, could he be Huang Fu, the top genius of Silver Radiance Academy?”

“I must stay far away from him.”
