Ha Gangwoo looked around, taking in the new Tower of Job Change.

A huge, hall-like circular dome, gray brick tiles, and massive stone statues. The atmosphere was very similar to the Tutorial’s 3rd floor.

But one thing was different: a giant System window floating in the air.

‘Four hours, huh.’

It was the starting time for the test held in the Tower of Job Change.

Just as Ha Gangwoo was checking the time.

“Ooh~! It’s so wide!”

Mimic hopped forward, amazed by a giant sword model in the center.

‘Massive.’

The magnificent sword sculpture loomed as tall as a four- or five-story building.

But the stone statues weren’t limited to swords.

Staves, bows, daggers, shields, even a kitchen knife — all kinds of carvings were embedded throughout the space, thrust into the walls and floor like relics of forgotten warriors.

Just as Mimic let out an admiring sigh at the giant blade, Kim Jisoo stared at her in shock.

“Huh?! Mik! How did you get in here?”

She’d clearly left Mimic waiting outside. How could she be inside the tower? Jisoo was baffled.

As she trailed after the little girl,

“Whoa~! Finally! A job change! I’ve been waiting for this moment forever!”

Jo Seunghyun clenched both fists, radiating white-hot enthusiasm.

Whatever he’d been through in Scenario 1’s region, his growth was remarkable.

‘He might actually be useful.’

Gangwoo had originally pegged Seunghyun as deadweight.

Now he held his own against a level-100 Player.

The Tower of Job Change here was tuned for levels 40 to 70. Solo would be enough; a party would only drag efficiency down.

But the energy Seunghyun gave off was different. He seemed reliable enough to trust with real hunting.

‘Must be his gear.’

Ha Gangwoo scratched the back of his head, turning these thoughts over as he watched Seunghyun.

And Kim Jisoo followed after Mimic.

A sturdy man strode up to Ha Gangwoo with a broad smile. Crisp white armor, a massive shield strapped to his back. A Tank-position player.

“I’m from the Association. Name’s Han Seongdae. You got a party? If not, join ours—you won’t regret it.”

Han Seongdae pointed with a confident expression at the comrades standing behind him.

Roughly twenty-odd players were gathered, chatting among themselves. From the armor and weapons they wore, their level looked solid.

‘He’s gathered a lot.’

A party of over twenty. But Gangwoo already had one, so he cut it off cleanly.

“I already have a party.”

Ha Gangwoo jerked his chin toward a direction.

“This is insane!!!! Berserker’s the best, I’m telling you!! Ahahahahaha!”

*Whoosh!* *Slash—* Jo Seunghyun, eyes blazing, howling with mad laughter.

“Ah, you’ve already got a party. That’s a shame.”

Han Seongdae looked at Jo Seunghyun, then clicked his tongue in disappointment.

“If we run into each other in the trial, go easy on us.”

Han Seongdae bowed his head briefly, then offered a handshake.

“Likewise—go easy on us.”

Ha Gangwoo answered with a relaxed air and accepted the handshake.

And so, solitude returned.

Ha Gangwoo plopped down onto a chair and took in his surroundings.

“Mage class is seriously broken. I’m going Job Change to Mage.”

“What’s so great about Mages? Divine Archer’s obviously the best.”

“That’s a Hidden class!”

Four men bickering. They looked like they were in the same party.

“Looking for party members!!!”

“Level 57 Healer-class Player looking for a party!!!”

People frantically searching for parties.

It was known that the next trial was impossible to clear alone.

Since the trial changed every time, no one knew exactly, but most said it required cooperation.

That was why Han Seongdae had gathered over twenty players—it made sense.

‘Three should be enough.’

But Gangwoo had no intention of recruiting more party members. His current force was already more than enough.

Ha Gangwoo settled his thoughts, then turned his head to stare at one spot.

‘So it is possible after all.’

Where Gangwoo was looking, a small child stood.

“Wow~!!!! Water bubbles!”

Tiny water bubbles floated up around the little girl.

That child was none other than Mimic.

This place Jo Seunghyun had dragged them to was a Job Experience Hall.

Jo Seunghyun was swinging a greatsword, laughing like a madman, while Mimic generated water bubbles all over her body, beaming brightly.

This was the Job Experience Hall. Since Mimic could also try it, she seemed able to obtain a class.

Ha Gangwoo scanned the rows of Job Trial Halls scattered around him, curiosity flickering in his chest.

Nearly forty different Job Trial Halls stood before him.

Beyond the ones here, over two hundred jobs existed in total—and among them were Hidden jobs, said to be obtainable only by the exceptional.

He turned his gaze to one corner, where the crowd was thickest.

Just as Gangwoo was sizing up the Divine Archer, curiosity piqued—

“Whoa… no way! It’s a whole new world, hyung-nim. You’ve gotta try it!”

Jo Seunghyun trotted over, a popsicle stick clamped between his teeth. He was drenched in sweat, clearly fresh from a fierce trial.

‘Should I?’

He was curious about Hidden jobs anyway. No—he was curious about jobs themselves, full stop.

What was so special about a job that people chased them so desperately?

Gangwoo rose from his seat and walked toward the trial station where the Hidden job was on offer.

“Gonna try one? Do Berserker! The thrill’s insane—like, is that madness? The second you use the skill, your eyes roll back and you’re so pumped you can’t help laughing! I was grinning like an idiot!”

Seunghyun jabbered from beside him.

But Gangwoo had already made up his mind.

“Ah! Divine Archer! I was gonna try this one too—great minds think alike, huh? That’s Rank 6’s job, right?”

Seunghyun crunched down on his popsicle, sounding pleased at the coincidence.

‘Rank 6’s job.’

Gangwoo knew that too. Divine Archer—that was Zenith Elysifer’s class. Which only made him more curious.

Gangwoo and Seunghyun lined up behind the Players still waiting their turn.

Through the crowd, they could see a Player currently inside the trial.

“Whoa~! No way! This thing’s a total cheat skill, isn’t it?”

The Player was marveling at something—a skill he’d just used, it seemed—then picked up a bow.

And then—*crackle*—as he drew the bowstring—

A massive halo of light gathered around the bow.

The moment the man released the string—

The arrow shot forth, tearing through the air like a giant cannon gouging the earth.

*KRAKOOM-*

It shredded the scarecrow set up in the training ground.

“Whoa… Hidden jobs are fucking insane.”

“How do you even get a Hidden job? No way they just made it this broken for no reason.”

Players watching the spectacle gaped, their mouths hanging open in awe.

“That’s it. I’m going for Divine Archer.”

Jo Seunghyun’s eyes lit up like he’d already erased the Berserker from his mind, and he clenched his fist.

The popsicle was long gone — somehow a candy was already wedged between his lips.

‘This is definitely good.’

Ha Gangwoo couldn’t help but marvel at the skill he’d just witnessed.

The power was muted — some kind of Mana-blocking barrier around the place — but even just the visual effects alone eclipsed every other class he’d seen.

Then, a thought struck him. An item sleeping in his Inventory.

Ha Gangwoo walked toward the table in front of him. On it sat a bow and a single arrow. Beyond the table, practice scarecrows stood arrayed.

Having watched everyone else go through the trial, he naturally stopped in front of the table.

A system window flickered open.

With that brief explanation, a low hum— Uuuung—and intense light surged from the magic circles around him.

Gangwoo drew the string with all his strength, aiming at the training dummy at the far end of the hall.

A corona of light began gathering at the arrowhead.

The watching Players couldn’t hold back their awe.

Countless Players had tried out the Divine Archer before, and every time Drater Shot had slammed into the barrier.

But this was clearly different.

Three times the size of any other Player’s Drater Shot—that red-hot energy added a layer of sheer terror.

“No damn way. That barrier’s not going to break, is it?”

A Player watching the scene voiced his doubt.

*CRAAAAAACK—* The colossal Energy Cannon kept grinding against the barrier. *BOOOOM—* It was so violent the ground itself trembled faintly.

“Ah… come on. The tutorial hall’s barrier is System-managed—it’s not going to break. Stop talking crap and get ready to go in.”

But the Players knew it was pointless worry.

The barrier spread around the trial hall was an absolute defense wall created by the System. There was no way it could break.

And yet, that moment came.

A giant fissure spiderwebbed across the barrier the Drater Shot had been pounding.
