Wang Xueyun was stunned for several seconds before she processed what Lin Ze meant, her eyes widening in shock.

“You have a way?”

The nearby adventurers overheard Lin Ze’s words and cast surprised glances in his direction.

Li Pei couldn’t help but ask eagerly, “What way?”

“Kill it, that’s all.”

Lin Ze said calmly.

The surroundings fell silent.

Many who had been hoping for a solution felt their expectations dim once more.

“Easy to say—kill it? How? Is your pet beast stronger than Mr. Loda’s Giant Rock Monster?”

These words voiced what everyone was thinking.

The Wonder Item Lin Ze had just used was most likely something that could boost a Pet Beast’s combat power.

Under everyone’s watchful eyes, the Deathknell Striker lowered its head slightly, and the massive fleshy tumor on its forehead suddenly contracted and expanded, unleashing a deafening roar like a tolling death knell.

A violent, distorted soundwave rapidly swept toward the Ice Crystal Soul.

The terrifying, ear-splitting noise caused even the Soul Power barriers of the adventurers a hundred meters away to tremble violently.

In that instant, many faces changed color.

Yet the Ice Crystal Soul’s little face showed not a trace of fear.

Without any visible movement, a massive Ice Shield suddenly materialized, blocking in front of it.

The soundwave slammed heavily into the Ice Shield, and with a crack, large fissures spread across its surface.

The Ice Crystal Soul then waved its hand in response, sending a barrage of Ice Spikes shooting forth, striking the Deathknell Striker with pained howls as a thin layer of frost quickly formed over its carapace.

In the first exchange, the Ice Crystal Soul had clearly gained the upper hand!

Seeing this, the adventurers’ spirits lifted.

“So strong!”

“Haha, we’re saved!”

“It can actually suppress the Deathknell Striker—amazing!”

The Ice Crystal Soul originally possessed strength at Tier 3, Stage 2, but after using the Burst Card, its Level skyrocketed to Tier 4, Stage 2.

Combined with its endless array of Skills, its combat power was more than enough to keep the Deathknell Striker firmly under control.
