Chapter 247 – A Brand New Club (Part One)
“Ren Qi, Ren Qi?? Is your club still accepting members?”
“Yes, yes! Can we still join??”
“I don’t know, you’ll have to ask the club president.”
Ren Qi rolled his eyes. Where were they earlier?
Now they want to join the club? Too late!
“I heard Night Phoenix Club’s office has been renovated. Let’s go see what tier Night Phoenix Club actually is!”
Upon hearing that Night Phoenix Club had completed its renovations today, many students expressed interest in visiting.
Everyone said Ye Yunxi came from a wealthy family and was a Young Miss, so everyone wanted to see if it was true.
After all, you could tell whether someone had Money or not by seeing how much they invested in renovations.
Ye Wanru was too angry to keep watching, but that didn’t stop Xie Lian’er from going over to see the spectacle.
She wanted to see what kind of renovation this pauper could possibly manage!
It was said the club had 200 square meters?
Would it just be covered with grass?
That would be hilarious!
The crowd swarmed to the third floor of the club offices, where Ye Yunxi stood at the door apparently preparing to open it. Xie Lian’er seized the chance to push forward.
“Ye Yunxi, how about letting us tour your club?”
“Sure.” She didn’t mind.
“Renovations must cost a lot of Money, right? Actually, there’s no need to decorate a club too extravagantly. If your personal financial situation isn’t great, just put out a few chairs so people don’t have to sit on the floor!”
Xie Lian’er smiled maliciously.
Trying to steal the Young Emperor from her?
You’d need the capability first!!
Ye Yunxi lazily glanced at Xie Lian’er and snorted softly. She found women like this truly boring.
Reaching out to push open the door, the crowd immediately squeezed in impatiently.
Xie Lian’er had already prepared her lines to mock Ye Yunxi, but the moment she saw the renovation, she was completely stunned.
Not just her—everyone who followed behind was also dumbfounded.
Was… was this really a school?
Why did it look as luxurious as a castle with complete facilities?
The duplex structure was fully utilized. Just one chandelier occupied the space of an entire floor, hanging above everyone’s heads—luxurious, dazzling, and brilliant.
The floor was covered with premium wool carpet so soft it made people want to lie down and roll in it. Beige sofas were accented with pillows in seven different colors, both soft and beautiful. A bar counter and drink tables were fully equipped, and there were even two rows of bookshelves in front of the floor-to-ceiling windows, accompanied by soft beanbag chairs that made you want to dive right in, grab a book, and sit there all day just from one glance!!
Further away, distinctly styled dried flowers decorated the corners, while lush tropical plants with broad leaves peeked out from under the staircase. Incense smoke rose from somewhere, swirling and hazing, blurring everyone’s vision.
And this was just the first floor!!
There was another floor above!!
They really wanted to see the second floor ahhhhh!!
“What… what is that?”
Someone finally noticed Hades on the wall.
It was a section of distinctly branched deadwood embedded in the rock-textured wall, with a large bird nest on it. A Golden Eagle peered out with fierce eyes, gazing down ominously like a king selecting its prey.
Everyone who met its gaze couldn’t help feeling their scalps tingle and instinctively looked away.
“My trained eagle, Hades.”
Ye Yunxi curled her lips and raised her arm.
From two stories up, Hades spread its wings and swooped down. The massive wings stirred up a gust of wind that made it hard to keep one’s eyes open. When the wind subsided and everyone opened their eyes, they saw the Golden Eagle with its wings spread, perched steadily on Ye Yunxi’s forearm.
At a glance, it almost seemed as if Ye Yunxi had grown wings herself. Paired with her sharp, dark gaze, she resembled the six-winged archangel Michael, the warrior angel from the Bible!
