Chapter 105 – Scandal Causes Huge Waves (Part One)

Zhixuefu Academy, Freshman Dormitory Room 405.

“Knock knock…”

“Who is it? Can’t you let people sleep at this hour?”

“Please open the door.”

“Huh? A woman’s voice? Quick, quick, go open the door.”

“Let me do it!”

“Get lost, I was the one who answered first.”

“Pang Hu, you traitor who abandons friends for women! You’re utterly dishonorable!”

Creak!

As the door swung open, Pang Hu, Gao Qing, and Zheng Xiucai were all tugging at each other, vying for the prime viewing spot by the doorway.

But what met their eyes was Ye Kuang with his arms draped over two slender figures, head bowed, leaning entirely against the two beauties.

To the three of them, however, this appeared as if he were embracing two women at once!

“Holy shit…” Pang Hu’s eyes widened like copper bells at the sight, and he couldn’t help but utter a national expletive.

The Witch furrowed her brows at the sound but, after a moment’s thought, smiled and asked, “Excuse me, is this Student Ye’s dormitory?”

Pang Hu was dumbfounded by the question and momentarily forgot to respond.

Gao Qing, however, nodded woodenly, stammering, “Y-yes… it is. Who are you? Huh… y-you… you two…”

Then his tone shifted abruptly, and he couldn’t help but exclaim, “You’re Senior Sophia! And Senior Meng Jie!”

It must be said that Gao Qing’s voice was so loud it was practically explosive.

Instantly, it prompted nearby dorm rooms to open their doors, bringing a wave of noise and commotion.

“Which Meng Jie? It couldn’t be that one, could it? My Goddess!”

“Goddess Sophia came to our dorm building? Really?”

“Slap me, see if I’m hallucinating…”

Smack!

“Damn, you actually hit me!”

“Didn’t you tell me to?”

When Pang Hu finally regained his senses, he hastily stepped aside from the doorway, exclaiming in alarm, “Seniors, please come in quickly! If this gets out, it’ll cause you both a lot of trouble. Huh… what’s wrong with Ye Kuang?”

Gao Qing: “Enough, enough, stop babbling. Hurry and let them in.”

The Witch: “That might not be convenient. Since Student Ye lives here, please take care of him. We’ll be going now.”

With that, she handed Ye Kuang over to Pang Hu, then hurriedly took the Celestial Maiden’s hand and swiftly departed.

By then, the entire corridor was teeming with figures—all freshmen fans who had rushed over at the news.

As they watched the two Goddesses pass by, the entire floor held its breath, only to erupt into chaos moments later.

As the saying goes, “Though there are three thousand weak waters, I take only one ladleful.”

In the eyes of these young admirers, even a fleeting glance at the Goddesses was worth more than day and night companionship, haunting their dreams.

It wasn’t until long after the two Goddesses had left that they finally snapped out of it, casting puzzled glances toward the firmly closed door of Room 405.

Had they just seen a fellow student embracing both Goddesses?

Once this thought took hold, it became uncontrollable. A whirlwind of speculation swiftly ignited a massive uproar!

“What do you think the Goddesses came here for?”

“What else could it be? Didn’t you see? Sigh… such a beautiful flower stuck in a pile of cow dung—no, two flowers stuck in a cesspool.””Who in the world is this legendary figure? But seriously, he’s ruthless—managing to win over two campus belles at once, making us feel utterly inadequate…”

Regardless of their wild speculations, Room 405 was in complete chaos.

It was the dead of night.

Ye Kuang had just woken up groggily when his expression suddenly shifted to alarm.

Why had his consciousness been so hazy earlier?

But the moment he turned his head, he couldn’t help but startle and blurt out, “What the hell are you all trying to do? Not sleeping in the middle of the night, staring at me like this…”

He trailed off, suddenly stunned—he couldn’t even remember when he’d returned to the dormitory.

Gao Qing: “Student Ye, out with it! Confess and you’ll be treated leniently; resist and you’ll face the consequences. Speak! What’s your relationship with Senior Sisters Meng Jie and Sophia?”

Upon hearing this, Pang Hu immediately pricked up his ears, his bloodshot eyes wide open as he fixed his gaze intently on Ye Kuang.

Their posture suggested that if Ye Kuang held back even a sliver of the truth, the three of them would gang up on him.

Ye Kuang: “What nonsense is this? What are you talking about!”

No sooner had he spoken than he froze again.

Fragments of unfamiliar memories flooded his mind, and he couldn’t help but ask in shock, “Did Meng Jie and Sophia bring me back?”

“What do you think!”

“Dammit, you’re even calling them by their first names, and so affectionately at that. You’re something else, quietly winning over two senior sisters without a word. Are you even giving us a chance to live?”

“Spill it—what exactly is your relationship with them?”

Ye Kuang: “I damn well…”

But before he could finish, the three of them pinned him firmly onto the bed, not hesitating to rough him up a bit.

Frustrated and breathless, Ye Kuang felt a wave of weakness wash over him. In that moment, he finally understood what it meant to be utterly helpless in the Human Realm.

Nothing could compare to this situation—alive and breathing, yet stripped of any ability to resist.

Ye Kuang: “I’ll talk… I’ll talk… Just let go of me.”

Pang Hu: “Smart move.”

Feeling the pressure ease, Ye Kuang couldn’t help but curse again, “Smart your ass! I damn well don’t even know what my relationship with them is—how am I supposed to explain?”

“Heh heh…” Gao Qing let out a series of eerie chuckles upon hearing this and made to repeat his earlier tactics.

Seeing the situation turning sour, Ye Kuang had no choice but to cave and stammer, “Well… it’s not like there’s no relationship at all.”

Zheng Xiucai shot up from his seat as if sitting on needles, exclaiming, “So there is a relationship? Good heavens, the world must have gone blind to let a scoundrel like you capture the hearts of two women. You beast—you deserve to be drawn and quartered!”

Hearing this, Ye Kuang couldn’t help but feel a surge of irritation. What in the world was going on?

Little did he know, Pang Hu and the others had already concluded that the second and third-ranked campus belles were both Ye Kuang’s conquests.

Pang Hu: “Let’s all just go to sleep. I’ve decided to cut ties with Student Ye completely. This guy is so disloyal—sneaking off to chase girls behind our backs, making me wait all night for a midnight snack that never came, and worst of all, not even bringing me along.”

Gao Qing couldn’t help but sigh at the irony of life: even the closest of brothers can’t withstand the temptation of dazzling beauty.

Even Zheng Xiucai, standing to the side, felt a wave of defeat wash over him. Truly, comparing oneself to others is a sure path to misery, and comparing goods only leads to discarding them.
