Chapter 123 – Visitors from All Directions Compete for Supremacy (Four)

At a central crossroads in N City.

A peculiar procession of several dozen individuals passed through, immediately drawing crowds of onlookers.

All seventy-one were women, each with a fiery figure and dressed in archaic attire, as if they had stepped straight out of an ancient martial arts world.

“Eldest Sister, I heard the Tiangang group set out before us. Should we quicken our pace?”

“Third Sister, why are you so impatient today? Though outsiders call us the 108 Stars of Tiangang and Di Sha, we’re more level-headed than those Tiangang fools. Remember, we can’t take these rumors at face value. If they were true, do you think those people would stand idly by?”

“But…”

“Third Sister, say no more. Eldest Sister has her reasons. Our priority now is to find Second Sister quickly.”

“That’s not it, Fourth Sister! What I mean is, Second Sister might have already gone to find Ye Kuang!”

Hearing this, Eldest Sister’s expression shifted sharply. She grabbed Third Sister’s arm and demanded, “No wonder you’ve been hesitating! Did you know about this all along?”

Third Sister: “I’m sorry, Eldest Sister.”

Eldest Sister scolded, “Third Sister, you’re utterly foolish…”

But before she could finish, she waved her arm and declared, “Sisters, follow me!”

Meanwhile, at the Zhixuefu Academy Martial Arts Association.

Ye Kuang savored the surge of power coursing through his body, feeling an indescribable euphoria from unleashing his strength.

He strode up to Mang Shan and asked bluntly, “Speak. Where did you hear that defeating me would grant the title of undefeated among the younger generation?”

Mang Shan was consumed by regret. He had assumed that rallying everyone against Ye Kuang would be an easy victory, but instead, they were utterly crushed without even managing to scratch him.

Seeing his hesitation, Ye Kuang pressed, “Tell me, and I’ll spare you. Otherwise, I won’t hesitate to strip you of the skills you’ve used to bully others.”

You Hu: “How dare you!”

Noticing the flickering menace in Ye Kuang’s eyes, Mang Shan cut off You Hu’s retort and snapped, “Third Brother, shut up!”

You Hu: “Eldest Brother?”

Mang Shan ignored him, instead turning to the smiling devil before him with a sigh. “We admit defeat today. Losing to you is our own fault—we were outmatched.”

Then his tone shifted as he continued, “As for the rumor you mentioned, we only heard it in passing. We don’t know its origin, but it’s certainly not baseless. Hah… So we were just pawns all along, damn it!”

Ye Kuang realized the situation was more complicated than he had imagined and sighed inwardly: Another dead end? Who could it be? You’d better hope I don’t catch you. Heh.

At that thought, his gaze turned icy.

Even those beside him paled inexplicably, as if a chilling frost had enveloped them, freezing the air itself.

Suddenly, Ye Kuang and Ling Yun exchanged a glance. Without a word, they nodded at each other, leaving the others bewildered.”Since you’ve come, why hide in the shadows?”

Ye Kuang’s words left everyone utterly bewildered.

Who was he speaking to?

Apart from the Tiangang members, only their Martial Arts Association colleagues were present. Could there be someone else lurking in the darkness?

Gao Laosan and others immediately rose to their feet, recognizing this was no ordinary situation, yet firmly believing Ye Kuang wouldn’t speak without cause.

Ling Yun chimed in, “Friend, since you’re here, why not show yourself? We’d like to properly fulfill our duties as hosts.”

“Giggle giggle…”

As the coquettish laughter echoed through the venue, a seductive figure burst through the entrance.

At the sight of this woman, Mang Shan’s expression drastically changed!

Then came Mang Shan’s gritted words: “Di… Sha!”

Hearing this, Ling Yun couldn’t help but shudder.

“Giggle giggle.” The woman revealed her fang-like teeth, strolling leisurely while teasing, “Isn’t this the leader of Tiangang? How truly surprising.”

Mang Shan’s face darkened three shades at her words, clearly displeased by Di Sha’s appearance in this place.

If their current wretched state were spread by these women, the reputation of the Thirty-Six Heavenly Stars would be ruined, inevitably becoming the laughingstock of the entire martial arts world!

Ye Kuang: “Just who are you?”

The seductive woman turned back with a calm, enchanting smile, her fang-like teeth still prominently displayed.

Knowing he was being ignored, Ye Kuang couldn’t help but ask again: “Miss, may I ask where you come from?”

His rapid change in attitude even made Ling Piaoyun somewhat displeased. She thought Ye Kuang had been captivated by the woman’s beauty, no different from the Thirty-Six Heavenly Stars.

The seductive woman appeared even more delighted at his question, her flirtatious demeanor enough to enchant any man.

“You must be that Ye Kuang, little brother? I came specifically to see you.”

“Sister, you flatter me. Though I know I’m dashing and unrestrained, I’m not so arrogant as to think I’d deserve your high regard.”

“Giggle giggle.”

Hearing their back-and-forth banter, Ling Piaoyun grew increasingly irritated, finally unable to restrain herself: “Where did this enchantress come from? State your business or get lost!”

“Uh…” Ye Kuang looked puzzled, clearly not expecting the top campus belle to have such a fiery temper.

“What are you staring at? Never seen a beauty before!” Already irritated, Ling Piaoyun’s anger flared again seeing Ye Kuang’s dumbfounded expression.

Hearing this, Ye Kuang dared not talk back, well aware of one principle: never provoke an angry woman, or you’ll be the one who suffers.

Ling Yun watched with furrowed brows, deep in thought. Seeing his Junior Sister about to erupt again, he had to step forward and pull her back.

“I presume this young lady is one of the Seventy-Two Earthly Fiends? May I ask what brings you here today?” Ling Yun inquired.

“Oh…” The seductive woman’s laughter abruptly ceased, then she voiced her own doubt: “And who are you? How do you know my identity!”

In all the intelligence she possessed, there was no record of Ling Yun. Naturally, she couldn’t afford to let her guard down, thus heightening her vigilance. One might say that the current state of the city is no longer what it once was. Beneath the surface, turbulent undercurrents surge, and it’s entirely possible for a master to emerge from any humble corner of the urban landscape.
