Chapter 53 – The Left Hand of the Child of Satan
Chapter 53 – The Left Hand of the Child of Satan
Watching Tank secure victory, Silver Wolf couldn’t help but laugh heartily three times: “Brother Shilong, I accept your concession!”
Upon hearing this, the Jeet Kune Do Temple Master snorted coldly and, surrounded by a group of people, headed toward the infirmary.
Tie Feng witnessed this and couldn’t help but let out a sigh.
It could be said that Tie Feng still found it hard to believe, even now, that the Jeet Kune Do Successor had been defeated.
Even the spectators felt the same way!
For them, the blow was undeniably heavy.
After all, Li Xiao’s strength was evident to all, and now, both his popularity and status had met a dismal end.
It was easy to imagine how heavy-hearted they must have felt at that moment.
Even Ye Kuang felt the pressure mounting. It could be said: the enemy was not just strong, but stronger still.
As for Yuan Tianlong and Ma Qiang, it was only at this point that they began to grow solemn. If they had faced Tank earlier, upon introspection, the outcome would have been the same.
Tank’s astonishing defensive prowess was an unsolvable problem!
On the other side.
The Silver Wolf Triad exchanged glances and asked the remaining four: “For the final battle, who will step forward?”
Left Guardian: “These opponents are hardly worth our master’s personal involvement. I alone am more than enough!”
Right Guardian: “Let me handle it. Their strongest fighter, Li Xiao, has already fallen. The rest are no longer a concern.”
Hearing this, the man in white solemnly reminded them: “Do not let your guard down.”
“Yes!!”
As he spoke, the man in white then addressed one of them with a commanding tone: “You go. Victory is the only option—defeat is not permitted!”
“Yes!”
The one who stepped forward was none other than the Dark Martial Champion, the Devil’s Left Guardian!
His figure was somewhat slender, but beneath his lean frame lay a startlingly intimidating aura. Paired with his black tailcoat, he resembled a bat of the night!
Seeing this, Tie Feng turned to Ye Kuang and asked directly: “Are you confident?”
Yuan Tianlong and Ma Qiang, hearing this, could not remain calm and immediately volunteered for the fight.
“Reverend Tie, why not leave this one to me?”
“Why trouble Brother Yuan for this? I, Ma Qiang, am more than capable!”
Tie Feng, however, remained silent, his eyes gleaming intently as he stared fixedly at Ye Kuang.
Ye Kuang, whose face had always worn a cheerful smile, now showed seriousness for the first time. He then declared resolutely: “If I fail, hold me accountable!”
“Good! I’ve been waiting for those words. You will take the third match!” Tie Feng said.
“Reverend Tie!”
“Reverend Tie!”
Tie Feng: “No more discussion!”
……
As the spotlight shone on the far end of the arena, a figure quietly arrived.
His somewhat youthful face exuded a steady composure. His steps were firm and commanding, carrying an air of thunder with each stride. It was none other than Ye Kuang!
“Why is it this kid? Where are the boxing champions of the Yuan-Ma Families?”
“What’s going on? Isn’t this just handing the turning point over to someone else?”
“If this kid loses, where will our dignity be? Damn it!”
“Has there been some mistake?”
“…”
It could be said that the entire audience was perplexed, as were the various gym masters. The one who should have taken the stage was one of the Yuan-Ma Families’ disciples, but instead, it was an unknown newcomer—the so-called Dark Horse, Ye Kuang!
Although he had shown impressive performances earlier, catching everyone’s attention, he was hardly someone who could dominate this stage. Thus, the atmosphere was inevitably filled with skepticism!
Instead, the Silver Wolf Triad exchanged knowing smiles, nearly moved to tears, unanimously concluding that their opponents had run out of capable fighters.
They would rather casually assign a disciple to humiliate himself than send a skilled martial artist to contend for victory…
Even Iron Hand was momentarily stunned upon seeing Ye Kuang, but after a blink, he rallied his spirits and boomed: “The third match—Dark Horse Madman Ye Kuang… versus…”
At this point, Iron Hand suddenly faltered, because according to intelligence, the opponent seemed to have no name to speak of. Should he call him the Devil’s Left Guardian?
Wasn’t that absurd?
Thinking this, Iron Hand threw caution to the wind and blurted out recklessly: “Versus… the Left Hand of the Child of Satan!”
Roar, roar, roar!
It must be said, Iron Hand truly had a way with words.
For, had he not spoken, it would have been one thing, but as his voice faded, he genuinely managed to stir up a fervent pre-battle atmosphere.
One could even say that there wasn’t a man present who didn’t roar at the top of his lungs, only women mindful of their image who refrained from screaming.
The scene descended into madness, and perhaps everyone forgot what the third match signified—or maybe only such frenzy could ignite the spectators’ passion for what was to come.
By now, Ye Kuang had approached the arena, where the Left Hand of the Child of Satan had long been waiting.
He leaped up sluggishly, then took a close look at the man before him, reputed to be the Left Guardian.
Silver hair flowing, skin pale as congealed fat, beneath a pair of piercing bright eyes was a curved, hook-like nose bridge. Tall in stature, he exuded steadiness and elegance, akin to a refined gentleman.
On his hands, he wore white silk gloves, adding to his graceful demeanor.
Had he been a star, he would likely have been a heartthrob capable of captivating countless young women.
So thought Ye Kuang.
Iron Hand: “Begin!”
Ye Kuang: “Wait…”
Hearing this, Iron Hand paused in surprise and asked curiously, “Is there something else you wish to say?”
Ye Kuang: “I have a question.”
As he spoke, his expression turned utterly serious.
Noticing this, the Left Hand halted his intent to strike, choosing to wait and see.
Iron Hand: “Speak…”
Ye Kuang: “Are the fighters from the Dark Martial World truly that strong?”
“???” Upon hearing this, Iron Hand’s expression shifted, clearly tinged with anger.
What nonsense was this?
With countless people watching, and the Dark Martial World being a taboo subject, how could anyone dare to ask such a question against all propriety!
Was this man a lunatic or a fool?
Left Hand: “You’ll find out soon enough, won’t you?”
Hearing this, Ye Kuang couldn’t help but laugh, then said with a smile, “Then let’s begin!”
Upon hearing this, Iron Hand felt as if ten thousand galloping horses were trampling through his heart. Oh, you little ancestor… what in the world did you want to say? If you had a question, why not ask it outright? Why bring up a query only to leave it hanging, unnecessarily teasing everyone’s curiosity? What if it led to the taboo being openly discussed? The consequences…
