I’vе stаrted thinking that it wоuld be nicе tо havе аlliеs whо сould сoоperаtе with mе.
Wеll, though the fight with thе Witch is а personаl mаtter.
They sау the Ancient Witch isn’t muсh hеlp in terms of combаt strеngth, and nowаdaуs it’s thе аgе of streamers.
Sо then…
I should gеt strеаmers on mу sidе!
Fоrtunatelу, todaу I have an aррointment with а mоderаtely mаjor streamеr whosе аvailability lined up.
“Нeу, Flоtа. Should I gо as my rеаl sеlf, or as Sрicе?”
‘Тhаt’s аlrеadу dесided—it hаs tо be Little Spice!! He’s absolutely adorable!! Let’s use some charm, c-h-a-r-m!! The other person will be totally smitten! Kyun!’
“I was an idiot for asking Flota! I should’ve known that’s the only kind of answer I’d get… Well then, Floppy, what do you think?”
‘Yes. In Little Spice’s form, the places you can enter are limited, and you’re so cute that you’ll attract too much attention. Here, your plain master form would be best.’
“Don’t call me plain.”
Just when I thought my Civilian A-Phone was gaining wisdom, it started speaking its mind too honestly.
Lately, it’s been quite lively at home with Flota and Floppy chatting while surfing the net.
It seems like Floppy is gaining wisdom this way, apparently.
After considering both of their opinions, I decided to go as my original self.
Today’s counterpart is the Apocalypse world adventure streamer, Charaway.
He agreed to meet right away after receiving my DM.
Usually, streamers often move from DMs to conversations on Zakko.
But, based on my experience as a working adult, I thought it would be better to meet face-to-face at least once.
Besides, we’ve already met in the Dungeon before.
And since I’ve publicly stated that I’m an older guy, I want to show my true self.
Somehow, I feel like we’ll have more opportunities to work together from now on.
There’s also the connection from me becoming famous through Charaway’s clip videos.
I put on a suit and headed to the meeting place.
I even polished my leather shoes for the occasion.
Just when I thought I might have gained a little weight since I stopped going to the office, I actually had to tighten my belt by one notch.
‘With daily dance training and all, your body has toned up! Master has a decent height too, so you look good!’
“An unexpected benefit of adventure streaming, huh…”
Talking too loudly with Flota would draw attention.
I whispered softly.
Flota’s voice strangely carries, so we can still converse this way.
The meeting place is a slightly stylish bar.
I figured that with conversations flying around everywhere here, no one would overhear ours… but…
“Oh, I got a Zakko from Mr. Charaway.”
‘Yay! I’m nearby. Is Ms. Spice there too?’
More polite than I expected!
He seems pretty normal!
“Yes, I’m in my original form, waiting in front of the store. In a suit, I should add.”
‘Got it. I’ll look for you now.’
As expected, people who manage to do well as adventure streamers are also solid as individuals.
I was impressed.
Right after that, I heard a voice say, “Um, excuse me?”
There stood a man with orange hair, about a head shorter than me.
He had a casual, trendy vibe, and his outfit, while looking rough, was actually quite stylish.
He wore a tight-fitting knit inner layer that showed off his bodyline, with a well-tailored red checkered parka over it.
Oh, nice shoes…!
“Spice… san?”
“Ah, yes. Mr. Charaway?”
“Yeah, I’m Charaway. Yay.”
He flashed a peace sign with a gal-like flair.
This is definitely him.
Well, he’s not exactly wild, but it’s the shape of his soul.
Inside the store, we took our reserved seats.
We ordered aperitifs and some pizza to be baked.
The store had a stone oven and would bake the pizzas after receiving the order.
We started with some carpaccio and began discussing future plans.
“Man, I was seriously surprised. Little Spice really is a guy, huh.”
“Yeah… I get the feeling most listeners don’t believe it, though.”
“Well, of course. With that incredibly detailed avatar and perfectly emulated beautiful girl mannerisms, nine out of ten people wouldn’t believe it’s an older guy. I couldn’t believe it myself until meeting you like this.”
“Is that how it is…!? There are various reasons, and since it’s different from a normal avatar, that’s why I can do things like that.”
“That’s what they call corporate secrets, right? I won’t pry into that. So, about the collab invitation. Totally okay. Actually, it’s a sweet deal. You and I already have some kind of relationship built up. I’ll definitely accept.”
“Really!? That makes me happy! Actually, I’m aiming for monetization myself. If I can get a collab with you, Mr. Charaway, I feel like I can make big progress. Sorry for talking only about myself.”
“It’s win-win for both of us! Let’s do it!”
“Yes, please take care of me!”
Flota inside my bag was saying things like, ‘Whoa, it’s a businessman’s conversation!’
Well, when two socially adept men meet, this is how it goes.
“So, what about the collab schedule? Ah, my availability is like this.”
“My schedule is pretty open. I even put out a weekly schedule, but… oh, how about here? It’s soon, though.”
“That’s the day after tomorrow! Totally okay! Let’s do it.”
“Our first collab! Please take care of me.”
“Same here!”
Just then, the pizza arrived, and we both said “Yum!” and dug in.
