Chapter 35 – The End of the God of Dust
Chapter 35 – The End of the God of Dust
Looking at Zhongli before her, who had extended the invitation.
Behind her, Lumine and Paimon were also looking at the beautiful older sister with eager expressions.
Seeing Lumine and Paimon gazing at her with such anticipation.
Qiu Bai held her head—she had originally intended to find a secluded place to revert to her male form.
But she couldn’t bring herself to refuse, and she had even thought of a name for this gender.
“Just call me Qiu Xue.” (After reading the readers’ comments, I ultimately chose the name suggested by this reader.)
Qiu Bai thought to herself at this moment.
“Alright, Zhongli, I accept your invitation.”
Qiu Xue adjusted her hair slightly and smiled as she looked at Zhongli before her.
Then she turned her gaze to Lumine and Paimon.
“Alright then, I’ll accompany you on this trip.”
Qiu Xue smiled brightly and spoke gently to Lumine and Paimon.
“Hooray!”
Paimon happily stomped her feet.
“Then let’s set off, beautiful older sister!”
Just as Paimon was about to fly forward.
She suddenly seemed to remember something and slowly asked, “Where are we going again?”
Lumine, seeing Paimon like this, sighed helplessly and covered her forehead.
Then Lumine turned her gaze to Zhongli beside her.
“Since my friend has accepted my invitation.”
“Then, let us proceed to the next destination together.”
Zhongli changed his address from “old friend” to “friend.”
Qiu Xue tilted her head, her hands still clasped at her abdomen, and looked at Zhongli with a gentle smile.
Zhongli noticed Qiu Xue’s gaze, shifted his eyes slightly, and cleared his throat lightly.
“Um…”
“Old friend?”
Zhongli tentatively asked, somewhat puzzled as to why the woman was looking at him like that.
“Hehe.”
Qiu Xue didn’t say anything but instead let out a sweet laugh—a laugh that nearly left even Rex Lapis himself bewildered.
Not to mention Lumine and Paimon behind her.
“I really didn’t expect that Qiu Bai being your old friend was one thing.”
“But this beautiful older sister is too!”
Paimon looked at Zhongli with confusion and bewilderment.
She simply couldn’t understand why this social parasite who only freeloaded and did nothing would have friends as mysterious as Qiu Bai and the beautiful older sister before them.
“Hahaha, we were fortunate to meet and became friends despite the age difference.”
Zhongli chuckled calmly and explained.
Hearing this, the woman also let out a light laugh and nodded.
“Then Zhongli must know what the beautiful older sister’s name is!”
As soon as Paimon finished speaking, Lumine also looked at Zhongli with anticipation.
Hearing this, Zhongli’s lips twitched—he didn’t know what to call the woman before him either.
Morpheus? Adeptus of the Two Principles? Old friend? He certainly couldn’t say Qiu Bai. Paimon’s question had left Zhongli completely stumped.
Before Zhongli could answer, the woman spoke up.
“Traveler, little Paimon.”
“My name is Qiu Xue.”
Qiu Xue looked at Lumine and Paimon with a smile, then blinked her beautiful eyes at Zhongli.
You helped me when I was in a tight spot earlier, so now I’ll help you when you’re in one.
“Wow, you told us your name when we least expected it.”
Paimon waved her hands, surprised that the beautiful older sister before them had just revealed her name so casually.
Even though it seemed like a secret just moments ago.
“Qiu Xue, what a lovely name for an older sister!”
Paimon clapped her hands, indicating that the name suited Qiu Xue perfectly.
Lumine nodded in agreement.
Lumine: “I am Qiu Xue’s dog!”
“I told you my name because I consider you friends.”
Qiu Xue looked at Lumine and Paimon, smiling as she spoke. Her personality had now fully transformed into that of a woman.
“Then we’re good friends now, Qiu Xue.”
Lumine gazed at Qiu Xue, a faint smile curling at the corner of her lips.
Seeing Qiu Xue nod, Lumine no longer held back.
“Qiu Xue! Quick, let me touch your fair legs!”
“I can’t hold back anymore.”
With a perverted expression, Lumine walked up to Qiu Xue.
She had noticed Qiu Xue’s beautiful legs earlier and had been wanting to touch them all along.
“Huh?!”
Qiu Xue’s face flushed with embarrassment upon hearing this.
Before she could react, Lumine’s mischievous hands had already reached Qiu Xue’s jade-like legs.
“Such pretty legs.”
Lumine giggled while stroking them.
Paimon beside them covered her face, peeking through the gaps between her fingers.
Meanwhile, Zhongli turned his head away, avoiding the direction of Lumine and Qiu Xue.
Qiu Xue, her face flushed, watched as Lumine caressed her legs.
“H-have you had enough?”
Feeling the strange sensation on her legs, her face grew even redder.
She lowered her head and whispered softly to Lumine below her.
Ever since she had taken on a female body, certain areas had become more sensitive, and she blushed easily.
“How could I ever have enough?!”
Lumine looked up at Qiu Xue’s flushed face before finally stopping.
“If I keep going, will I really be seen as a female pervert?”
Lumine thought to herself with a strange feeling.
Once the blush on Qiu Xue’s face gradually faded.
“Mr. Zhongli, what’s the next step in preparing for the Rite of Parting?”
Paimon parted her fingers and looked at Zhongli not far away.
“Oh right, I almost forgot about the main task.”
Lumine scratched her head, imitating Paimon’s manner.
She had nearly forgotten the important matter.
But whose fault was it that Qiu Xue’s legs were so tempting to touch?
“Hey, Traveler, stop copying the way I talk!”
Paimon stomped her feet, looking at Lumine with an angry expression.
“I know, follow me.”
“The next destination is Liyue Harbor.”
Qiu Xue, still gentle and composed, smiled at Lumine and Paimon as she spoke.
“I didn’t expect Qiu Xue to know the steps of the Rite of Parting.”
Paimon said with some surprise.
“Because, every longtime resident of Liyue should know.”
Qiu Xue explained to Paimon with a smile, and Lumine nodded in agreement.
After all, Zhongli had said that the tradition of the Rite of Descension had gradually faded.
Then Qiu Xue strode gracefully toward Liyue Harbor on her beautiful legs, with Lumine and Paimon following behind.
Zhongli remained silent, turning to look at the statue as if seeing his former self.
Then he shifted his gaze to Qiu Xue’s retreating figure, which overlapped with the image in his memory.
Zhongli’s pupils contracted, and a scene suddenly appeared before his mind’s eye.
It was a woman in a blue dress, turning around to face him with a smile.
“Morax, this is the Tenacity of the Millelith. I entrust it to you…” A gentle, ethereal voice echoed in his mind.
The woman smiled tenderly, then extended her hand to pass the object to Morax.
“Guizhong…”
Zhongli stood there motionless for a long time, as if lost in recollection, before finally letting out a sigh.
“Mr. Zhongli, what’s wrong?”
Seeing Zhongli standing still for a long time as if stunned.
Paimon scratched her head in confusion and said.
Upon hearing Paimon’s words, Qiu Xue.
also turned back in surprise, looking at her old friend.
Then Qiu Xue’s expression tightened, her beautiful eyebrows furrowing slightly.
“Has Morax’s Erosion developed cracks again?”
(Dear readers, I’m going to catch up on some sleep first and will work hard to write more this afternoon. I promise six updates today! Rest assured, and thank you for your support!!)
