Chapter 164 – The New Lord of the True Dragon Sword Clan (Three)

Chapter 164 – The New Lord of the True Dragon Sword Clan (3)

The Phantom Emperor nodded at the Thunder Sword Emperor and vanished. The Emperor’s procession then resumed its journey toward the True Dragon Sword Clan.

“For His Majesty the Emperor to be moving in person, isn’t the number of his guards rather small?”

When Namgung Hwa-rin asked with a look of confusion, Namgung Sang shook his head.

“No, no one would dare attack His Majesty. Not as long as the Phantom Emperor is by his side. He is that powerful. Even if I were to fight him here and now, I could not guarantee victory.”

Namgung Hwa-rin was stunned by Namgung Sang’s words. Although she had heard rumors about the Phantom Emperor, she had never dreamed that such a master existed within the Imperial Palace. Namgung Sang muttered with a grave expression.

“From what I hear, the Hegemon Heaven Saber Emperor and the Martial Alliance Leader are on the move. Add to that myself, the Phantom Emperor, and, unbelievably, my grandson-in-law who is said to have reached the Profound Realm, and that makes five absolute masters gathering at the True Dragon Sword Clan.”

Though he didn’t expect anything to happen, Namgung Sang couldn’t shake a feeling of unease. Nevertheless, he soon set off for the True Dragon Sword Clan with the warriors of the Namgung Clan.

* * *

While absolute masters from all corners were making their way to the True Dragon Sword Clan, Yu-jin was busy with a duel against Lee Hwan that was more than a mere spar.

Watching Lee Hwan’s saber fly toward him, Yu-jin activated his Wings of Light, and at the same moment, thirteen golden wings unfurled.

The Wings of Light, spreading wide enough to fill the training hall, wrapped around Yu-jin just as Lee Hwan’s saber, charged with formidable energy, came crashing down.

*CRASH!*

A massive explosion erupted, but Lee Hwan winced slightly. The recoiling force from the Wings of Light was so strong that the shock traveled all the way up his arm.

But the frown was fleeting. A smile spread across his face as he watched Yu-jin display a technique he had never seen before.

‘Yes, this is what I wanted.’

Since reaching the Profound Realm, this was the first time he had engaged in such a breathtaking duel. His fight with the Heavenly Demon was an exception, as it had felt somehow alien.

Yu-jin’s martial arts were deep and pure enough to allow Lee Hwan to unleash every technique he had ever learned.

“A curious protective aura! But can it block this?”

Lee Hwan shouted, concentrating his power into his saber, and the energy began to swirl. Soon, a vortex of energy formed from his blade and surged toward Yu-jin.

However, Yu-jin swung his Wings of Light forcefully. The thirteen wings enveloped the vortex of energy Lee Hwan had created and shattered it. An ordinary aura was no match for the Wings of Light, which were harder than a fortress of steel.

*Fwoosh!*

With the Wings of Light wrapped around his body, Yu-jin launched himself at Lee Hwan and brought his sword down with force. Seeing him approach, Lee Hwan swung his saber as well.

Each time Yu-jin’s sword and Lee Hwan’s saber clashed, a tremendous shockwave radiated outward.

With every thunderous boom, the sturdy walls of the training hall trembled, and cracks began to appear in some places. The clash between the two was just that powerful.

The two men briefly put some distance between them. A smile graced both their faces.

“Excellent.”

“Thank you.”

“Then shall we get a little more serious? I know you are still holding back.”

Lee Hwan couldn’t explain how he knew, but he could instinctively feel that Yu-jin was concealing his true power.

As if to prove his point, Yu-jin’s breathing was steady, while Lee Hwan’s was slightly ragged. It was not Lee Hwan’s wish for Yu-jin to conserve his strength.

“You might get hurt, you know?”

“That is what I desire.”

Lee Hwan spoke with eyes full of firm resolve, and Yu-jin nodded. Then, Yu-jin began to draw upon the energy of the Nine Heavens Divine Demonic Arts.

In that instant, Lee Hwan felt goosebumps rise on his arms as he looked at Yu-jin. The atmosphere was the same as when he had faced the Heavenly Demon.

‘So, my son-in-law cannot be seen as an ordinary absolute master? Good. That’s even better. Now, I shall surpass my past self.’

Although he had managed to land a blow on the Heavenly Demon at the very end, he had still experienced a crushing defeat in their first battle, a memory he could not forget.

For some reason, he felt that if he could defeat Yu-jin, he might be able to resolve the sense of defeat he had suffered at the hands of the Heavenly Demon.

‘I will show him everything I have!’

Lee Hwan made his resolve. Just then, Yu-jin moved. It was a movement invisible to the eye.

Yet, Lee Hwan raised his saber to block his front. His senses had commanded him to do so.

A tremendous impact struck the body of his saber, and for a moment, Lee Hwan felt the sensation in his arm disappear. But there was no time to dwell on the pain. Even then, Yu-jin’s formidable sword strikes were pouring down like a storm.

‘Such a terrifying assault!’

The sword strikes alone were overwhelming, but the Wings of Light, which jabbed at him intermittently as if they were living creatures, restricted Lee Hwan’s movements. Believing he would lose if this continued, Lee Hwan gritted his teeth and swung his massive saber.

But Yu-jin lightly swung his sword and blocked Lee Hwan’s attack.

“This is not enough.”

In a flash, Yu-jin’s form multiplied into twelve, surrounding Lee Hwan. The twelve Yu-jins swung their swords at Lee Hwan from all directions.

Yu-jin’s sword strikes rained down like a torrential storm from every angle!

Lee Hwan drew upon all his strength and swung his saber against the formidable barrage.

Sparks flew continuously in the dim training hall. Although he was hit in a few places, Lee Hwan managed to block Yu-jin’s attack more or less successfully.

“Not yet!”

Having blocked Yu-jin’s assault, Lee Hwan launched a counterattack, unleashing his Mind Saber. Lee Hwan’s ghostly Mind Saber, impossible to shake off, not only erased all of Yu-jin’s clones but was now closing in to strike his real body.

But Yu-jin remained unfazed and unleashed his Mind Sword to block Lee Hwan’s Mind Saber.

*KRA-KOOOM!*

A blue radiance and an inky black radiance collided at a single point. They had clashed just before, but the shockwave that spread out this time was incomparably greater.

There was not a single flaw in either man’s heart, so the Mind Sword and Mind Saber merely clashed, with neither showing any sign of breaking. Believing the match would not be decided this way, Yu-jin retreated.

“As I thought, I cannot best you with the sword, Father-in-law.”

After saying so, Yu-jin sheathed his sword. At Yu-jin’s action, Lee Hwan was about to let out a roar of protest, but the feeling vanished instantly.

The aura emanating from Yu-jin, who had put away his sword, was incomparably more intense than before.

“This won’t take long.”

“I imagine not.”

Lee Hwan replied to Yu-jin’s words and formed his Mind Saber. A blue radiance, incomparable to any before, emanated from it.

But Yu-jin, as if it were nothing, threw a punch, and a colossal force surged toward Lee Hwan. To counter Yu-jin’s energy, Lee Hwan swung his Mind Saber.

*KRA-KABOOM!*

A massive explosion erupted, and a part of the training hall, unable to withstand the power of the two absolute masters, finally collapsed.

* * *

Entrusted to Yu-jin’s women, Lee Hye-yeon waited for him, beautifully adorned.

Although they had already spent their first night together, the thought of welcoming Yu-jin into the place where she would live forever made Lee Hye-yeon clutch her trembling heart.

“But I wonder if my lord is alright.”

Knowing full well how arduously Lee Hwan had trained all this time, she suddenly began to worry about Yu-jin.

Just then, the door opened, and Yu-jin, the man of her dreams, finally entered.

“Um… Father?”

“Ah, he’s fine, so you don’t need to worry. He went to his room to rest. Anyway, it’s been a long time, Hye-yeon.”

Yu-jin smiled warmly, moved behind Hye-yeon, and embraced her from the back. He brought his hands around to her front; one hand kneaded her breast while the other moved to the secret place beneath her skirt. At the same time, he began to lick the long line of her neck with his tongue.

“M-My lord! W-Wait!”

Under Yu-jin’s sudden assault, Hye-yeon’s body was instantly seized by pleasure. Yu-jin inserted his fingers into her secret part while stimulating the stiff peak of her breast above.

“Haaang!”

Moaning while being held from behind by Yu-jin, a clear love nectar flowed from Hye-yeon’s flower. The immense stimulation, felt after so long, had easily aroused her.

So embarrassed was she that her white nape and face flushed a partial red.

But Yu-jin paid it no mind and continued to move his hands. Because of this, the nectar not only flowed enough to drench his entire hand but also soaked her thighs.

“You’re beautiful, Hye-yeon.”

Yu-jin lowered his pants and took out his massive manhood.

Hye-yeon kept her head down, as if ashamed to show the traces of recent ecstasy on her face. But Yu-jin gently lifted her chin and spoke.

“I’d like to be served after so long.”

Hearing Yu-jin’s words, Hye-yeon lowered her head.

Her eyes filled with the sight of Yu-jin’s massive member. From the tip of the erect shaft, transparent droplets welled up and trickled ceaselessly down the column.

Lee Hye-yeon grasped Yu-jin’s manhood and brought it to her mouth. After a long moment, she slowly began to move her tongue.

As she knelt before Yu-jin, continuing her service, she could feel her body heating up once more.

“That’s enough.”

With a satisfied expression, Yu-jin took Hye-yeon’s chin and helped her up. Revealed from within Hye-yeon’s red lips, Yu-jin’s member glistened with the clear fluid he had secreted and her saliva. Yu-jin looked at her and spoke.

“Let’s go all the way tonight.”

That day, Lee Hye-yeon was taken by Yu-jin until she lost consciousness from exhaustion.

* * *

Inside a vast great hall filled with darkness. The hall, with pillars made from giant trees and a floor of black obsidian, was devoid of any decorations.

Only a heavy aura permeated the space, where numerous people were gathered. Warriors stood in lines on either side, centered on the middle of the hall. A powerful demonic energy flowed from their bodies.

The gazes of these men, who radiated a demonic energy so intense it could weaken an ordinary person on contact and even cause death in severe cases, were fixed on the throne in the center of the hall. They held their breath as they watched the man seated upon it.

Before the man, even the intense demonic energy was meaningless. No, no energy in this world had any meaning for him.

Before this man, who seemed to be the very personification of death, any and all energy was bound to fade away.

However, the man had no name. He had abandoned his name, having forsaken his own humanity.

Instead, he created a new title to call himself by, and that was the Heavenly Demon.

The Heavenly Demon was smiling. It was something that had not happened in a very long time.

“The Divine Sword Emperor is dead, and his eldest son has become the new lord of the True Dragon Sword Clan… How very interesting.”

The Heavenly Demon knew Kang Yu-hyeon better than anyone. He was the first formidable enemy he had encountered when he appeared in the martial world under the name of the Heavenly Demon centuries ago.

To test his own power, the Heavenly Demon had challenged Kang Myeong-un, then called the Heavenly Sword Emperor and the strongest in the Central Plains, and after a tremendous battle, he had defeated him.

But losing to him by no means meant that Kang Myeong-un was a pushover. In a different way from the Heavenly Demon, but essentially the same, Kang Yu-hyeon was a powerful warrior who pursued immortality and cultivated his strength by defying the heavens.

“Though he was lacking, he was the human most similar to me.”

“My Lord! It is time to draw your sword for the conquest of the martial world.”

Seol Mu-rin, one of the four vice-leaders, shouted as he looked at the Heavenly Demon. His eyes burned with a fierce will as he spoke.

“Vice-Leader Seol is right. The Central Plains martial world has been greatly weakened by the war with the Western Tibetan martial world. On top of that, the True Dragon Sword Clan, which served as a pillar for the Central Plains alongside the Martial Alliance, is also greatly shaken. Now is the perfect time to conquer the Central Plains martial world!”

Gu Yang-geuk, another of the four vice-leaders, exclaimed his opinion with the same look in his eyes as Seol Mu-rin.

Since there was merit in all their words, the Heavenly Demon listened with a faint smile.

“The Central Plains martial world is indeed shaken. But you must have heard the news as well, have you not? That a new absolute master has appeared in the Central Plains.”
