Chapter 31: Crayfish Delivery

Chapter 31: Crayfish Delivery

Original: Chapter 31: Crayfish Delivery

Ah, I was so emotionally rattled from defeating the crayfish that I was completely out of sorts.

A Message Window had appeared before my eyes, hadn’t it?

‘Will you deliver the Wild Crayfish?’

So it’s not an automatic delivery after defeating it. I selected ‘Yes.’

The crayfish’s body vanished with a poof. The Dungeon God must have taken it.

“Miss Dungeon God, please enjoy it.”

‘Thank you so much~♪ I’ll enjoy it deliciously☆’

Whoa, that startled me. I didn’t expect a reply message. The Dungeon system and such occasionally listens to what I say, right? Getting a sudden reply is a bit startling. And this time, it was the Dungeon God. Ah~, I was so startled~.

But, ah—

It’s coming—. It’s coming—. It’s coming—.

“Kutchu!”

Ah… that just now… was a weird sound… but it was my sneeze…

Somehow, I don’t sneeze like a normal “achoo!” When I do it in the classroom, people often don’t recognize it as a sneeze and look at me strangely.

Ugh, my body’s starting to shiver a little. Ah, I’ve got goosebumps.

“That’s right. I’m soaking wet.”

If I stay in a place like this, I’ll catch a cold. Summer is still far off, and it wasn’t the season for going into streams.

Splashing water noisily, I walk towards the earthen ground.

Just moments ago, I was energetically swimming and running while wet, but now I suddenly feel reluctant to move.

As my body feels the chill, my energy seems to be dropping too.

“Ugh… it’s cold…”

While getting out of the water, I check my HP.

“Huh… Even though it hurt that much, my HP only went down by 10.”

My remaining HP is 105. Just looking at the number, I seem overflowing with vitality. But for me, it hurt as if my skull might have cracked.

I feel like I’ve been caught faking an illness. Even though it really hurts.

“Anyway, I’ll drink a Potion for now.”

I take out the bottle containing the Potion.

Placing my left hand on my hip and holding the bottle in my right hand. Then, glug, glug, glug—I chug it down in one go.

The taste is like sweet, delicious natural water.

Because I’m drinking it so vigorously, the Potion keeps spilling from the corner of my mouth, but I don’t mind.

Ah—, here it comes, here it comes, here it comes. That refreshing feeling as if my whole body is being revitalized—

Whoa—, my face is hot, hot, hot. And my butt is hot too—. The places where I was attacked are rapidly healing—.

Checking my HP out of the corner of my eye, I see I’m already fully recovered. But I’ll finish drinking it all. If I leave any leftover, it’s not sellable anyway, so I’d just have to throw it away.

“Glug, glug, glug, puh-ha—! Ah—, I feel refreshed. It’s irresistible!”

My body has returned to peak condition.

My body feels light, light, light. I feel like running for no reason. When my body is too energetic, I want to sing loudly or yell “yahoo!” into the distance.

“I really like Potions. I wish they were sold normally at convenience stores or vending machines.”

But that seems difficult in reality. Potions can only be made in the Dungeon, and to preserve them, you need Empty Bottles made by the Dungeon God.

“I hope science advances so Potions can be refrigerated.”

Surely some smart person will make it possible someday. Then I’d be overjoyed. A business selling Potions would probably thrive. I hope that era comes soon.

Well, now I feel more at ease.

“The remaining problem is—”

I look at the swell of my chest. My blouse is clinging tightly along my bust line. Trying to lift one leg, my skirt clings and wraps around my thigh. It’s quite heavy.

“What should I do about this soaking wet state…”

Even my underwear is drenched. I absolutely cannot appear in public like this. Even if I’m past my prime, I’m still a Girl in the Bloom of Youth, so walking around the Dungeon or town in an unfashionable state is absolutely impossible. Especially since my bra is clearly visible through the fabric—that’s a huge problem. It’s beyond embarrassing.

“Sigh… I have to change…”

My spirits are heavy, but I can’t stay like a drowned rat forever. I decided to look for a place where I could change.
