Chapter 11

Chapter 11

After finishing his preparations, Jaeha looked at Seungho and spoke.

“I’ll contact you when I come out.”

“Got it.”

With that, Jaeha immediately left the house. Then he got into Seungho’s car and headed to where the dungeon was. The first dungeon Jaeha headed to was the Imp’s Tomb.

Imps were quite peculiar monsters. They were small, about the size of an 8-year-old child, and looked like demons. Their personalities could also be described as extremely demonic.

Imps had wildly erratic personalities. So occasionally, they would help or even save hunters.

They mostly attacked with magic, but the spells they used were almost all low-rank—the lowest of the low. Because of that, hunting them wasn’t all that difficult.

However, they were fundamentally a dungeon with an enormous number of monsters. In other dungeons, at most 100 to 300 monsters would appear, but with imps, 500 was the baseline, and sometimes up to 700 would show up. That’s why solo players avoided this place even more.

‘Prep’s good enough. Time to head in.’

Once he finished organizing, Jaeha checked the arrows in his Inventory. Seeing no issues, he put the bag of arrows back into his Inventory and approached the dungeon entrance.

Upon arriving at the entrance, Jaeha checked whether anyone was already inside.

“Oh, there are people inside.”

Frowning at that, Jaeha checked when they had entered.

[Entered 4 hours 55 minutes 32 seconds ago]

“Almost 5 hours. They should be just about done, then. I’ll have to wait a bit.”

He could have gone somewhere else, but they seemed like they’d come out soon anyway, so he decided to wait.

Jaeha sat down for a while, killing time on his cell phone, then went on MuTube to see if there were any videos worth watching. He searched to see if any archer videos had been posted.

“A few more popped up.”

It seemed that after Jaeha’s video went up, other hunter archers had also filmed and posted their own. Jaeha started skimming through them.

‘Eh, nothing much here.’

Jaeha shook his head but kept watching the videos just in case. However, as expected, there was nothing useful—the content itself was pretty much nothing.

Just as he was finishing up the videos, people came out of the dungeon. Even though people had exited, Jaeha paid them no mind and waited for the video to finish.

“Hey! Someone call an ambulance!”

At that, Jaeha looked up and saw that two of the people coming out of the dungeon were bleeding heavily. Jaeha quickly ran over. Then he spoke to the group.

“Is there no healer?”

“Well…… we’re at our mana limit right now. We did give them potions, but…… as you know, wounds caused by magic don’t heal with those.”

Jaeha nodded and used Half Recovery. Immediately, the wounds visibly began to heal. They let out sighs of relief.

After using the skill for about a minute, most of the visible wounds were healed. Then he started treating the people with less severe injuries too. But one person wasn’t healing properly.

“That one got hit with a curse spell. We cast dispel, but it seems like some of the curse is still lingering.”

Jaeha kept using Half Recovery, but the wound wouldn’t heal properly. When the bleeding wouldn’t stop, Jaeha stopped the skill. Then he opened his Inventory and took out acupuncture needles. Jaeha began inserting needles into the patient’s body.

“Th-there’s no way that’ll heal anything. Just keep healing.”

The woman beside him said that when Jaeha pulled out the needles, but Jaeha ignored her words and inserted needles all over the body.

“Hurry up and heal……!”

“No. Leave him be.”

“What?”

“My gut says he’s actually healing him. Anyway, with just healing, the bleeding would’ve kept going and he wouldn’t have lasted. Might as well try something else.”

While he was speaking, Jaeha finished placing all the needles. Not long after, the bleeding stopped, and his complexion began to improve.

“H-he’s healing.”

“No way. That actually works.”

“The speed he placed those needles was insane. It took him barely 20 seconds to put in all those needles.”

“Excuse me. Is that…… a skill?”

At the words of the female hunter standing off to the side, Jaeha glanced at her once and spoke.

“Not sure.”

With that, Jaeha turned his head away.

“You’re not going to tell us?”

“Nope.”

At her words, Jaeha nodded and turned his gaze to the fallen hunter. The female hunter watching him made an awkward expression. About five minutes later, Jaeha immediately withdrew the needles.

Chapter 10

Having finished up, Jaeha spoke while looking at the hunter beside him.

“His life should be out of danger now, so I’ll be heading into the dungeon. Well then…”

“Huh? Aren’t you a healer?”

“No.”

With that, Jaeha entered the dungeon right away. Once inside, he immediately took out his bow from his Inventory. Then he spoke.

“Recording.”

[Everything you see will be recorded until you say ‘End recording.’]

‘Good. Here we go.’

With a smile, Jaeha activated his bow skill and began moving forward.

* * *

‘Whew. Felt like nearly 600 of them came out.’

Jaeha let out a sigh. Then he thought that while looking at the arrows remaining in his Inventory. After gathering the byproducts and putting them in his Inventory, he exited the dungeon. Then, getting into a taxi, he called Seungho.

“I’m out now. Sent the video too.”

<Got it. I’ll check it out.>

Jaeha headed straight for the next dungeon. The next dungeon was the Kobold Forest. Kobolds were among the easiest monsters. However, because of the poison they shot from range and their sheer numbers, it had become a D-Rank dungeon. Reviewing the information on the Kobold Forest like that, Jaeha made his way there.

Not long after, arriving at the Kobold Forest, Jaeha confirmed there was no one inside the dungeon and entered immediately. Once inside, he started moving right away. And along with the recording, he used two skills.

“Recording, Rapid Shot, Shadow Walk.”

Using both skills, Jaeha began advancing at a fast pace. Then he spotted a group of kobolds at a relatively far distance. He immediately drew the bowstring.

Having cleared out dozens of kobolds in under three minutes, Jaeha immediately started moving. And in under thirty minutes, he was able to clear out every monster in the dungeon. Exiting the dungeon like that, Jaeha called Seungho.

<What the. You’re already done?>

“Yeah. Kobolds are a pretty easy place.”

<So are we doing the troll today too?>

“Hmm.”

At that, Jaeha checked the time. The clock was pointing at 4.

“It’s 4… No. Let’s stop here for today and do it tomorrow. I don’t know how long the troll will take.”

<Alright. Then come home.>

“What. You’re still at my place?”

<Yeah. My computer’s good but yours is better.>

“Ugh.”

<Buy some food on your way here.>

“Got it.”

With that, Jaeha hung up and headed home.

* * *

Back home, Jaeha ate with Seungho. After finishing the meal, Jaeha rested while watching TV. Not long after, Seungho, who had been working on the video, came over saying he was done.

“Wanna take a look?”

“Mm, no. It’s fine. Just upload it.”

“Alright.”

As if he’d expected that, Seungho nodded and uploaded the video right away. Once the videos were all up, Seungho sprawled out in his seat.

“Ugh, done.”

“You edited and uploaded both?”

“Yeah.”

“You got faster.”

Saying that, Jaeha spoke.

“I need to rest a bit.”

“Doing what?”

“Just watching some other videos.”

Answering as he stood up at Seungho’s words, Jaeha picked up his phone and went into his room. It was still daylight, but since there was nothing to do, he decided to lie down and watch videos. Lying on the bed, Jaeha opened the MuTube app and started watching all sorts of videos.

Watching various videos, Jaeha couldn’t hide his amazement at seeing all the different skills that appeared. Not just combat skills—there were plenty of Supporting Skills too, and many new skills that couldn’t be used in combat.

Skimming through videos like that, Jaeha suddenly discovered one curious video.

‘No way, is this?’

It was a video similar to the one he’d seen when he first Awakened. The video he’d found back then was titled Awakening, and its thumbnail was a strange black color. But the video he found this time had the same thumbnail. However, the title of the video was different.

‘[Evolution]… huh.’

Jaeha clicked the video right away. It wasn’t anything extraordinary. Something like an animation appeared and started doing things. Watching the video quietly, Jaeha roughly figured out what the content was about.

‘It looks like…… internet broadcasting.’

Once Jaeha understood what the protagonist-like animated characters in the video were doing, he nodded.

‘So, if I watch something like an animation, would I get skills too?’

If that were really the case, he could obtain truly enormous skills. And not long after, the video ended, and a new window appeared before Jaeha.

[Your Skill has evolved.]

Jaeha opened his status window.

[Na Jaeha]

[Traits: Ranged Dealer]

[LV: 22]

[Total Ability: 187]

[Skills: MuTube, Grant Me Power, Half Recovery, Divine Physician Hua Tuo’s Secret Art, Bow Mastery, Mana Shot, Marksmanship, Breath Control, Shadow Walk, Stealth, Shadow Eye, Metallurgy, Rapid Fire, Triple Shot, High-Speed Rapid Fire]

“Total Ability went up a bit. Level increased by 7.”

Saying that, Jaeha checked his skills. And as expected, he realized his Unique Skill had changed.

[MuTube, Grant Me Power!]

[Unique Skill]

[Upon watching videos uploaded to ‘MuTube,’ acquire all types of things appearing in the video as skills.]

[Upon uploading a video to MuTube, Skill Points are granted at × 0.000001 per Views of the uploaded video.]

[Upon streaming live on MuTube, Total Ability increases once a month by × 0.000001 of the highest viewer count.]

“Skill Points?”

At the unfamiliar content, Jaeha let out a puzzled remark for a moment.

“So that existed.”

Thinking that, Jaeha began to ponder for a while.

‘Well, I’m already uploading videos anyway. If I say that doesn’t matter much, the problem is the live broadcast. Does the system support live streaming?’

With that, Jaeha tossed out various questions. Then, not long after, Jaeha learned that the system did support live streaming.
