Chapter 88

After installing a lamp in the pitch-dark ceiling and turning it on, it emitted light comparable to a fluorescent bulb.

‘Not bad.’

That lamp was made using Sia’s blood, and it also had a magic circle inscribed on it that drew in ambient mana from the surroundings. As a result, this single lamp would operate for at least five years without issue.

‘If it breaks or after about five years, I can just make a new one and swap it out.’

After installing one lamp in each room, Jaeha tidied up and pulled wallpaper and paste from his Inventory. Then he began applying the wallpaper.

The building wasn’t small like a studio or two-room unit, and it had a basement, so he expected it would take quite a long time just to wallpaper. After spending about two more hours on wallpaper alone, Jaeha turned off the broadcast and headed home.

Exactly seven days after starting construction, Jaeha finished both the interior and exterior decoration perfectly.

And on the eighth day, he turned on the broadcast outside the dungeon.

“Hello, everyone.”

Lately, viewers had been coming to the temple quite often. It was hard to even call it “often” — most of them would wait in front of the dungeon even before he started broadcasting.

When Jaeha, Sia, and the spirits appeared, people would approach, claim to be fans, and hand over drinks and snacks. No one did anything particularly strange, so Jaeha didn’t pay it much mind.

“As you all know, today is the day we bring the items inside. I’ve already placed orders for everything. Since there’s more than just one or two items, moving them all will take quite a while. For today, I’m planning to move everything, and if time permits, arrange them as well.”

Looking around, Jaeha spoke in a relatively loud voice.

“Please step back a bit.”

At that, the people moved back, and Jaeha spoke to Gnome.

“Scoop out a lot of dry dirt for me.”

Then dirt began to surge up from the ground, and Jaeha rummaged through his Inventory, pulling out a bunch of Golem cores. There were about twenty cores, and he poured mana into them before tossing them into the dirt.

Then he opened the settings window and set the golems’ size to be slightly smaller than an adult. Once the golems’ forms were fully assembled, Jaeha gave them their orders.

“Carefully move the items you see over there into the temple without breaking anything.”

The golems responded, and Jaeha pulled out the cores he’d made with extra care earlier. He then took out a large amount of metal from his Inventory and activated the core to create an Iron Golem.

“You patrol the area and stop any monsters from attacking the golems.”

Clang―

The Iron Golem, now accompanied by the sound of metal clashing, entered the dungeon as Jaeha had instructed. Once the golems started moving, Jaeha also went inside.

The day after the golems moved the items and Jaeha finished arranging them together with the viewers, he was sitting at a table and chair inside the building, enjoying some refreshments before turning on the broadcast.

“The building’s all done, the wallpaper and interior are finished too. All the items are brought in and organized. So what do we do now?”

“I’ve actually been thinking about that for the past ten days or so.”

“Yes.”

“I think it’d be best to do something like a lease.”

“You will?”

“Honestly, even if I built the building, it’s not easy for me to use or manage every single space myself.”

“That’s true.”

“I’ve been thinking, and first I’ll open about three to five shops here.”

“Yes.”

“A shop, a convenience store, and like I mentioned before, an inn of some sort. And then, well, about two food places or something like that.”

“Hmm. Do you think a restaurant would be popular?”

“That’s just a rough guess. We don’t have to do a restaurant — could be a blacksmith shop that repairs weapons, or a company that buys byproducts could move in. Any of those would work.”

“Heh, that sounds nice.”

“I should’ve posted a notice earlier. I’ve just been busy.”

“Well, it’ll work out somehow.”

“Right. We can just pass the time chatting or something.”

With that, Jaeha stood up from his seat and looked at Sia.

“Turning it on?”

“Yes.”

And right away, he turned on the broadcast.
Episode 9

“Hello, everyone.”

As the broadcast went live, Jaeha greeted the viewers with a smile.

“Today is the last day of this content. I thought it would end pretty quickly, but it ended up taking quite a while for one reason or another. As I mentioned yesterday, today’s agenda is a broadcast introducing the inside of the building. Also, lately, more and more people have been hunting in the temple.”

After finishing the interior as well, Jaeha prepared to lease out the completed building to viewers and such, while keeping just one section private.

It was a move meant to draw in viewers one last time, and it had a better effect than he’d expected.

“Alright, let’s go take a look right away.”

Having started the broadcast outside the dungeon, Jaeha said that and immediately stepped inside. Then he headed straight for the temple, and while making various comments at the temple entrance, he walked deeper in.

Standing at the building’s entrance, Jaeha looked at the golem guarding the door, and the golem promptly opened it. It wasn’t the old bulky golem — it had a much slimmer figure, and the golems’ bodies were clad in clothes that Sia had transmuted.

Seeing the golems dressed in outfits resembling British guards, the viewers had plenty to say.

—Those golems are sick.

—So cool.

—I wanna learn golems and use them too.

—Then go learn English and move to England. You know how Alchemist said they’re hiring beginner alchemists.

—Maybe I’ll actually look into it.

Watching the chat, Jaeha smiled and spoke.

“First up, the place we’ll be looking at is the shop. As you may know, I originally planned to make a Hunter Shop and a separate convenience store, but there were various issues, and I figured there was no real need to split them. So I merged them together.”

Then Jaeha stepped into a place bearing the mark of the world-famous convenience store, Seven-Eleven. The convenience store he opened the door to was far larger than expected.

“Basically, everything you’d find in a convenience store is all here. And over there, we have the supplies hunters need.”

That area had a glass wall with a door, and beside the door, two Iron Golems stood guard.

“Inside, we’ve got everything you could need. I pulled up the best-selling items from Hunter Shops, sourced the popular ones, and arranged them here. And most importantly, there are plenty of arrows. Lots of Enchanted Arrows too. And plenty of plain arrows as well.”

—Whoa.

—They really do sell Enchanted Arrows.

—Well, the streamer is the Unknown, after all.

“That’s all for the convenience store. Let’s head to the next shop.”

He exited the convenience store, opened the door beside it, and stepped inside.

“From here all the way down to the first basement level is the inn. There are about 30 rooms in total. As you can see, each room is furnished with the basics — a bed, a table, and chairs. And since the rooms are underground, things like ventilation were handled with magic.”

Having said that, Jaeha arrived at the next shop and spoke.

“This is the shower facility. After a hunt, you get all grimy — monster blood, sweat, dust, all that. So I made this place. I used a magic circle to produce the water. The amount of water available per day here is about 50,000 liters. The average person uses about 250 liters a day, right? And that figure includes drinking water and everything else. So probably a few hundred people could use it.”

With that, he stepped into the shower facility and turned on the water. After taking a quick look around, Jaeha left and headed to the next shop.

“And now, the last one. This place, which I’ve been keeping hidden until now, is a shop that buys byproducts. As you all know, not every hunter can carry an Inventory around. So you can sell right after hunting. And here, they’ll also take the carcasses you bring from hunts, process them, and even extract byproducts for you — so it’ll be helpful in many ways. And with that, the building introduction is complete.”

Then, with a smile, Jaeha looked at the chat and opened his mouth.

“The temple spawns many monsters and a wide variety of them, and on top of that, it’s a place where you can hunt safely. I hope this building plays a good role in that.”

Smiling, Jaeha stepped out of the building. Then, standing in front of it, he looked at Sia and spoke.

“This content is, in a way, a mid-to-short-term one. I’d say this content was a success in its own right. Thank you for watching my broadcast. I’ll be taking a few days off.”

With that, Jaeha ended the broadcast. Then he immediately looked at Sia and spoke.

“Let’s head home for now. The rankings will reset at midnight tonight, so let’s just wait for that.”

And so Jaeha headed home.

“Not even five minutes left.”

Jaeha said that and sat still. Four minutes passed in the blink of an eye, and the rankings began to be recalculated.
