Chapter 119: Still the Yan Thunder Annihilation Slash
Chapter 119: Still the Yan Thunder Annihilation Slash
“Hahahaha, human, is this feeble attack the limit of your strength?”
“How pitiful!”
“Pei Qin, let’s stand still and let him hit us, show him what a demon is, what despair is!”
“Wait, why are you dodging! Don’t carry me around running, this Master can’t afford to lose face like this!”
Pei Qin’s figure transformed into black smoke, continuously flickering amidst the saber shadows, even picking up the still-gloating eyeball and fleeing, looking as if he would die if he didn’t run.
“Pei Qin, why are you scurrying away like a rat? How can such an attack harm us?”
“Shut up, his move is strange, my Yin Demon senses can’t be wrong!”
Jiang Yan watched in surprise as Pei Qin fled at such speed, never expecting this short figure to react so quickly, immediately sensing something off about his attack.
The surviving students had all withdrawn from the battlefield. Chen Chen, with a spear still lodged in his chest, had no time to tend to it, now staring dumbfounded at the man continuously swinging his saber on the battlefield.
“Is he from your Silver Radiance Academy?”
“Uh… you could say that.”
Someone answered, but thinking of Jiang Yan’s true identity, didn’t say much more.
“Never mind who he is, treat your wound first.”
“It’s just a fatal injury, let me finish watching this battle first.”
Ahead, the two fighting had already circled the altar dozens of times.
To be precise, Pei Qin was fleeing, and Jiang Yan was chasing.
“Damn it, the Yin Demon senses clearly told me I could defeat him, why is the actual fight so different!”
The more Pei Qin fled, the angrier he became, questioning for the first time the ever-reliable Yin Demon senses.
Whoosh!
Behind him, a thunder saber pierced through his heart, soon exploding with thunderous light.
However, Pei Qin timely controlled his body to vaporize, narrowly dodging this attack.
“He can actually vaporize to avoid damage? What kind of trick is this?”
“Forget it, Yan Thunder Destruction Slash!”
Several more thunder sabers shot forth.
Ahead, Pei Qin’s figure continuously twisted and shifted through space, attempting to evade Jiang Yan’s impenetrable attacks.
Unfortunately, Jiang Yan’s consumption for using the Yan Thunder Destruction Slash was minimal, allowing him to unleash Saber Qi continuously, a veritable endless supply.
Once again, the thunder saber pierced through Pei Qin’s body. This time, Pei Qin relied on his Yin Demon senses to vaporize in advance, barely dodging the strike.
But now, Pei Qin was drenched in sweat, his aura withered to the extreme.
Clearly, this special evasion method took a heavy toll on him.
Pei Qin fumed: “I am a noble Yin Demon! Why can’t I defeat him!”
The eyeball was now too scared to appear, silently offering Pei Qin moral support.
“Thirty years east of the river, thirty years west, in another thirty years we might still defeat him!”
“Yan Thunder Destruction Slash!”
“Run!”
“Ahhhhh!”
Pei Qin roared in fury, vast Devilish Qi raged, dark purple-black Qi dispersed, whispers of evil spirits murmured, the sky darkened, the earth lost its light, the entire area turned into a dead silence.
“Jiang Yan, die!”
Jiang Yan charged into the Domain, hearing incomprehensible chants in his ears, evil and inescapable, as if trying to drag him down into a decaying Hell.
“That sounds awful.”
Jiang Yan commented.
“Chaotic Void Domain!”
The Chaotic Void Ancestral Spirit flew out from within Jiang Yan’s body, its chaotic and silent light enveloping the space between heaven and earth, instantly suppressing the surrounding Devilish Qi.
Pei Qin, trapped within the Domain, felt his bodily functions slow down, every movement becoming incredibly difficult.
“Not good!”
“Good!”
Jiang Yan teleported in front of Pei Qin within the Domain.
The two locked eyes, speechless for a moment.
Jiang Yan threw a fierce punch, and Pei Qin raised his hands to block.
In the next second, Pei Qin’s bones shattered, and his body flew backward like a kite with its string cut.
Yet, in mere moments, his injuries healed completely.
“You bully this demon too much!”
Pei Qin stood up from the ground, his expression turning ferocious and terrifying. Behind him, the eyeball slowly opened, shifting from its original dark purple to a crimson red.
The blood-red eye opened wide, and countless shadowy, eerie phantoms flew out.
Torrents of Death Qi filled the entire space, with lingering souls occasionally whispering and unleashing unwilling roars of fury.
Jiang Yan narrowed his eyes, gazing at the twisted faces of these lingering souls, unable to imagine what these people had endured before their deaths.
But no matter what they had experienced, Jiang Yan had to draw his Saber.
Saber light slashed out, and an endless stream of lingering souls rushed forward to block it, allowing Pei Qin to catch his breath.
He glared venomously at Jiang Yan, speaking to the crimson eyeball before him.
“Devour my last half of a heart.”
“What! Are you really going to go that far?”
“To deal with him, I must go all out.”
“As you wish.”
The eyeball burrowed into Pei Qin’s mouth.
In the next moment, he collapsed to the ground, his face turning deathly pale, losing all color in an instant. His eyeballs exploded into nothingness.
Soon, he rose from the ground like a mechanical Puppet, his joints cracking. The lost eyeballs were restored, but they were now completely devoid of any emotion.
Having cast aside all humanity, this meant he could no longer hide within human society. His future demonic life would be spent in days of being hunted by the Myriad Races.
He would maintain a body that was neither human nor ghost, completely refining his form into that of a demon.
In return, his Devilish Qi would surge dramatically, ushering in the strongest state of his demonic life.
“You disrupted my plans, so atone with your death!”
Pei Qin no longer fled; the surging Devilish Qi granted him immense confidence.
The dignity of being a Yin Demon could no longer tolerate being trampled by a mere human.
He would make this human pay a heavy price for his earlier disrespect toward demons.
“Ancient Yin Demon Devour!”
Pei Qin tore open his abdomen, swallowing the released lingering souls into his belly. His entire body’s Devilish Qi surged once again.
Jiang Yan was already charging forward with his Saber.
Saber shadows blotted out the sky and sun.
The final Move of the “Six Path Heavenly Tribulation Slash” swept out.
Pei Qin slammed down a palm.
The demonic shadow and Saber light collided, two Moves of different Origin Sources instantly annihilated within the massive explosion’s aftermath. Air currents rapidly expanded, spreading in all directions.
Watching from afar, Chen Chen observed the intense battle with great interest, the spear embedded in his chest swaying unsteadily.
“Senior, stop watching for now and tend to your wound!”
“It’s fine, I’ll deal with it after I finish watching.”
“So thrilling~” he murmured, having completely forgotten the pain in his chest.
The battle continued.
Pei Qin, now fully transformed into a demon, saw his Combat Power increase exponentially. His previously timid and hesitant fighting style transformed as he began actively attacking Jiang Yan.
Victory seemed within reach.
Jiang Yan realized the BOSS had entered its second form.
So…
Jiang Yan also unleashed his second form.
All the Traits that increased attack speed came into full effect, as Jiang Yan began swinging his saber incessantly, initiating his most shameless fighting style.
[Soul Shock][Peerless Realm][Above the Saber Saint][Blade Bearer]…
“Yan Thunder Destruction Slash!”
“Slash!”
“I’ll slash again!”
