A Type I civilization (planetary civilization) refers to one capable of fully controlling and utilizing all available energy sources on its home planet. This includes wind, water, solar energy, and other natural resources. A Type I civilization can also control the energy output of its home planet, utilizing controlled nuclear fusion technology and other efficient energy utilization methods to achieve global energy self-sufficiency. At this stage, a civilization can control weather, rivers, land, life, and oceans, and even manage changes and cycles in the Earth’s crust.

After contemplating the characteristics of a Type I civilization, Mu Lin found that, when analogized to the Profound Spirit World, this corresponded to the Earth Immortal stage—most of what a Type I civilization could achieve, an Earth Immortal could also accomplish.

A Type II civilization (stellar civilization) refers to one capable of harnessing and controlling all energy sources within an entire star system. This includes constructing devices like Dyson spheres to efficiently utilize all radiant energy emitted by the star. A Type II civilization can freely inhabit and travel among planets within the star system without worrying about energy issues. At this stage, a civilization can master methods for actively extracting stellar energy over long distances, enabling free travel and efficient utilization within the star system…

“The Profound Spirit World cannot achieve Dyson spheres, but traveling among star systems and effectively harnessing stellar energy—Celestial Masters can accomplish that as well.”

A Type III civilization (galactic civilization) refers to one capable of controlling and utilizing all resources within an entire galaxy. At this stage, a civilization can freely travel and reside within the galaxy, developing and utilizing all energy sources within it. A Type III civilization can also extract energy from the black hole at the galactic center, enabling long-term travel and life within the galaxy.

After obtaining the authority of a True God, Mu Lin realized that his own assessment aligned with the standards of a Type III civilization.

Although, having only mastered the Genesis Authority, he did not meet the standards in all aspects, in terms of genetics, he absolutely met them—even slightly exceeded them.

The fact that some True Gods could traverse the Cosmic Void while carrying their hopes and seeds also proved that True Gods met the standards of a Type III civilization.

And as part of a Type III civilization, being able to edit genes and grant others longevity—is that reasonable?

Very reasonable.

Without the ability to grant longevity, a Type III civilization could not achieve long-term travel and life within the galaxy.

“So, as long as a True God emerges, the current civilization can directly ascend to the level of a galactic civilization—or at least a stellar civilization.”

“Even a True God specialized in combat, rather than construction or production, should reach this level.”

Mu Lin then thought of countless ways to utilize divine authority.

What is the first thing that comes to mind when you see a Divine Kingdom, elevated high in the astral realm?

The first thing Mu Lin thought of was—isn’t this just an oversized spaceship?

If Mu Lin had been a Deity before, he could have used the Divine Kingdom as a ship, transporting his followers and people in batches to other planets, expanding the territory of civilization.

With just one Divine Kingdom, Mu Lin could elevate civilization from a planetary level to a stellar-level civilization.

And Mu Lin was not a blank-slate Deity; he was a True God who wielded the powerful authority of Creation of Life. This meant there was much more he could accomplish.

His first step was to complete the human genome, transforming ordinary people into long-lived and highly talented Golden People.

The second step was to create, or rather, optimize a batch of plants.

“Many planets are dead worlds, and even less suitable for human survival.”

Ordinary people might abandon such dead worlds, but Mu Lin was a True God, and he saw himself as part of a third-tier civilization.

Could a third-tier civilization lack the ability to modify planets? That didn’t make sense.

Did Mu Lin have such an ability?

He truly did.

Modifying plants to enhance their ability to absorb light, enabling them to release oxygen and form a protective layer in the atmosphere, was not too difficult for Mu Lin.

Beyond oxygen, resources like oil, minerals, and many other essentials for human civilization were formed over millions of years from the remains of plants.

With the Life Authority, Mu Lin could edit plant genes and modify them, not only achieving this but accelerating the process millions of times over.

He could even make plants directly produce oil or similar substances, or have them grow bread, milk, or steamed buns.

As for the environment humans needed in this world—not just oxygen, water, and minerals, but also Spiritual Energy—this was no problem either.

The sun itself was a massive source of Spiritual Energy. Without much modification, Mu Lin could make certain plants absorb the sun’s Spiritual Energy and convert it into ordinary Spiritual Energy suitable for human absorption.
