The place Ha Gangwoo was in now was the training hall — one of the rooms in My Room.

In that space, utterly white in every direction, eight patches of darkness flickered.

Seven of them were Ruin Constructs, standing in front of Ha Gangwoo, staring blankly ahead.

Ha Gangwoo had spent about twenty minutes running some experiments on these Ruin Constructs.

The very first thing he did was name them.

The first time he used the Controller, it prompted him to name them.

Seven Ruin Constructs. Seven bodies. Gangwoo went with the first image that came to mind and slapped names on them.

The naming was done, but then another problem jumped out at him.

‘Who’s who?’

They all looked exactly the same. Telling them apart to give individual orders would be a nightmare.

So Gangwoo stuffed every item he’d gathered from the Wilderness Plains into the Costume Vending Machine and ground them down.

A red scarf. An orange knit. Yellow gloves. Green shoes. A blue tie. Indigo pants. A violet shirt.

Now each of the seven Constructs had a distinguishing feature.

Except they weren’t scary at all.

The reason was their size.

Each one was a head shorter than Mimic. In human terms, about as small as a three-year-old child.

Could they even hunt properly?

Doubt flickered through his mind, but there was only one way to find out.

Gangwoo rose from his seat and opened his palm.

A satisfied smile tugged at his lips. He turned to Ru and gave the order.

The moment Gangwoo’s command landed, Ru took the form of a small boy and began glancing around.

The order had him searching for monsters.

Ru paced and prowled for about thirty seconds, then suddenly locked onto one direction, eyes narrowing.

He’d found this Dungeon’s monsters.

A charge with no hesitation.

—Everyone, follow me.

At Gangwoo’s command, seven Ruin Constructs set off. And soon, they spotted them.

“Kiyeeek!!!”

Bipedal monsters with lizard-like heads. Lizardmen.

And just like that, Ru’s battle began without an ounce of hesitation.

Samyun’s Wrath, swung by Ru, collided violently with a Lizardman’s spear. Gangwoo leaned casually against a tree, watching Ru’s fight unfold.

A System window appeared across Gangwoo’s vision.

‘Still too much…’

Gangwoo’s brow furrowed as he recalled the pattern of the fight so far.

Looking at the totals alone, he surpassed even Gangwoo’s own main body.

Especially the Trait — Ruin’s Sphere. If used well, it showed enough destructive power to fatally wound even an S-grade monster.

But compared to that ability, the Controller function was far too crude.

Ru’s first exchange with the Lizardman hadn’t been bad.

The items Ru was equipped with could safely be called Top-Grade.

From Barzel’s Appetite to Asrul’s Lust, and now Samyun’s Wrath, freshly acquired.

On top of that, his Strength was pushing 400, and his Agility was approaching 120.

Those weren’t losing specs by any stretch.

That early Lizardman could barely even parry Ru’s blade.

The way it staggered just blocking Ru’s half-arc swing made it look like it was already dead on its feet.

But that wasn’t how things played out.

The more Ru’s attacks stacked and the longer his movements stayed telegraphed, the more it was Ru who hit the dirt with a heavy thud.

Watching that, Ha Gangwoo was certain.

‘It can’t learn.’

That was the limit of Controller.

The Lizardman had grown as it watched Ru, picking up the pattern, using the terrain. But Ru hadn’t.

That first command — kill the monster.

That was all it had: just moving its body to execute that order.

‘Can’t be helped.’

Ha Gangwoo’s expression hardened as if he’d made a decision, and the next moment he used a skill.

In an instant, Ru’s hollow eyes flickered with life.

One clean stroke severed the Lizardman’s neck.
