Chapter 6 – Cosmic Light 1.0
Chapter 6 – Cosmic Light 1.0
Su Hao’s parents agreed to his request to have a younger brother or sister. As for when they would see them, that remained to be seen.
Su Hao had his reasons for making this request.
He realized that what he pursued was different from others. In the future, he might not be a qualified son, and he didn’t know how to pretend to be a real son. Therefore, to make up for the lack of time he would have to spend with his parents in the future, he asked them to have another child.
Now that the family had considerable savings, there were no financial difficulties. The only concern was whether his parents were willing to raise another child.
Actually, Su Hao was overthinking. Su Hao’s parents had wanted a second child for a long time. However, Su Hao had been very clingy since he was young, and his parents, considering Su Hao’s feelings, had not brought up the idea of having another child, and gradually stopped mentioning it.
Having given birth to a Genius like Su Hao made Su Hao’s parents have a strange confidence in their genes. Having more children would surely contribute to the nation’s development, benefiting society and Humans.
…
After Su Hao mastered enough basic scientific knowledge, he threw himself into compiling a two-dimensional system language. He wanted to learn quickly and start writing a system for his Pinball Space.
One year later, Su Hao was 12 years old and had successfully encoded and classified the scattered information in Pinball Space.
Classifications such as “Mathematics”, “Physics”, “Chemistry”, “Biology”, “Information Technology”, “Industrial Manufacturing”, “Agriculture”, “Astronomy”, “Art”, and “Weapons” were created. He called this simple function “Cosmic Light 1.0”, or “Little Light” for short.
At the same time, Su Hao gained a younger brother named Luo Chaoxin, who was chubby and only two moons old.
“Pride and Prejudice” was something he had just read. Although he didn’t understand it, he didn’t care. He would copy it! Publish it, and it would be a bestseller.
Another year passed. Su Hao was 13 years old. He successfully compiled a search system in Pinball Space that could quickly find needed information, upgrading it to “Cosmic Light 1.1.”
An adapted version of “Romance of the Three Kingdoms” was published and became a hit. His reputation as a Genius was unparalleled.
Another year passed. Su Hao was 14 years old. Cosmic Light could now record information anytime, anywhere, automatically encoding, classifying, and storing it. It also enabled interaction between information in different categories. He successfully compiled a timetable in Pinball Space. It was upgraded to “Cosmic Light 1.2.”
Su Hao’s younger brother, Luo Chaoxin, had become a mischievous child. He looked foolish, but his parents insisted it was a sign of his intelligence. This foolish intelligence was recognized by people all over the country.
Su Hao couldn’t help but pity the silly boy. Growing up in the shadow of his superstar brother, his brother’s life would undoubtedly be a nightmare. He would never be able to catch up to his brother’s achievements, yet he would constantly be compared to him and found wanting. It was truly pitiful.
In the same year, the adapted version of “Water Margin” was published. Su Hao became China’s most undisputed super genius in contemporary times.
The topic of Su Hao never faded.
Time passed as Su Hao continuously studied Harmony and made attempts. A year later, Su Hao was 15 years old.
The Pinball Space became more complete. Su Hao connected all the information with “Cosmic Light 1.3”, categorizing and organizing it systematically. Every moment, new information could be recorded through Su Hao’s senses, then automatically analyzed, compared, stored, and waiting for Su Hao to access at any time.
This year, Su Hao had become a handsome young man, rich and good-looking, learned and talented, and in good health – the dream lover of many older ladies.
Meanwhile, Su Hao’s younger brother, Luo Chaoxin, was 3 years old and had become the new darling of his parents. Spoiled and arrogant, Luo Chaoxin became a little devil in the family, believing his status in the family was supreme and unique.
However, he was wrong. In front of Su Hao, he still had to lie down obediently.
While Su Hao was coding in the Pinball Space in his room, Luo Chaoxin actually rode his little broken tricycle, loaded with a bunch of little monster toys, and rushed into Su Hao’s room, pointing his toy gun at Su Hao and shooting “dudu dudu”.
Then he was picked up by Su Hao by one foot, dragged out like a floor mop, and then Su Hao turned back and threw out his tricycle, little monsters, toy gun, and everything else.
Luo Chaoxin cried out, calling for heaven but no one answered, calling for earth but no one heard. Tears streaming down his face, he looked at his parents beside him, seeking help. However, his parents pretended not to see him and didn’t say a word. It was only then that Luo Chaoxin understood who was truly number one in this family.
…
Over the years, Su Hao’s research into various disciplines deepened. Precisely because of this, he understood how brilliant human civilization was, having studied this world so deeply. He admired those great scientists who dedicated their lives to exploring this world.
The more he learned, the more he felt the vastness and mystery of this world, and the more he felt his own insignificance.
He also came to understand how incredible it was for his consciousness to reside in such a tiny wormhole.
Recently, Su Hao’s research topic has been “big data.” The end of big data is intelligence. Current big data still has many limitations and is far from achieving intelligence. However, even so, the changes that big data has brought to life have already shown a glimpse of its potential.
As time went by, the Pinball Space accumulated more and more information. With the system compiled by Su Hao connecting this data, it was foreseeable that in the distant future, the Pinball Space’s “Cosmic Light” would inevitably become a super artificial intelligence.
And this was one of Su Hao’s objectives.
Su Hao’s consciousness entered the Pinball Space.
At this moment, the Pinball Space was no longer desolate but filled with a sense of technology, like the control room of a futuristic spaceship. Dense displays floated in the air, with various data flashing across them. Directly above, an electronic clock ticked away since its creation.
It displayed 1 year, 3 months, 20 days, 15 hours, 21 minutes, and 25 seconds. This indicated that the clock had been active for 1 year and three months, and the numbers above were still constantly ticking, second by second.
The main screen displayed a log-like interface instead of subject classifications. Su Hao could check recent information from the log.
“Year 1, Month 3, Day 19, 0:0:0,”
‘Cosmic Light 1.3’ update complete, search system optimized, speed increased by 0.01%;
‘Sensor Technology’ has been collected and learning schedule arranged. Current learning progress is 0.1%;
Doctoral dissertation titled “Application and Future Development Trends of Big Data Harmony Artificial Intelligence in Practice” has been formatted according to requirements and can be downloaded and published at any time.
Invitation from Professor Gao for the research on “Quantum Communication Device Design Proposal” has expired and will be automatically deleted in three days.
Comparison of the room before and after: the computer tower’s position is off by 1 millimeter, the trash can’s position is off by 3 centimeters, the water cup lid is rotated 3 degrees counter-clockwise… Conclusion: Luo Chaoxin entered the room, hit the computer, bumped the trash can, and opened the water cup lid.
…
…
Further ahead, you can also see the previous day’s logs.
1 year, 3 months, 18 days, 0 hours, 0 minutes, 0 seconds,
‘Cosmic Light 1.3’ update complete, auto-recognition system optimized, database refined, comparison accuracy increased by 1.2%;
‘Sensor Technology’ has been added, learning schedule arranged, current learning progress 0%;

Invitation from Professor Gao’s ‘Research on Quantum Communication Device Design Proposal’ is about to expire, please process it promptly.
Comparison of the room before and after: there is an unknown liquid on the floor… Conclusion: Luo Chaoxin sneezed on the floor.
…
…
The events of the day do not need Su Hao to actively record; Cosmic Light will proactively filter and add information to form the log. It’s clear at a glance.
‘Not bad!’ Su Hao smiled.
He then casually picked up a broom and pushed the door open: ‘Luo Chaoxin is asking for it again.’
