Chapter 60 – Healing

Chapter 60 – Healing

In the evening, the afterglow of the sun gradually faded.

Su Hao walked back to the Academy with a joyful expression.

Suddenly, a familiar Blood Qi sense appeared on the edge of his Radar, strange and dispersed.

“Murder Demon?” Su Hao’s eyes widened, and he immediately circulated his Blood Qi, expanding the range of his Radar Perception.

That’s right, it was that familiar feeling.

Su Hao was surprised that the other party was not dead. Even if he wasn’t dead, he dared to come out and play with such serious injuries. He felt a hint of admiration.

He’s a ruthless person!

To be precise, it wasn’t Murder Demon himself, but the person manipulated by Murder Demon.

Moreover, Su Hao not only sensed the manipulated person’s strange Blood Qi but also sensed a familiar Blood Qi on the manipulated person.

“Little Plum?” Su Hao’s mind recalled the image of Little Plum sitting by the window, reading intently.

Su Hao’s forehead instantly developed black lines. Why was this timid girl not staying put in the Academy, but instead got captured? If he hadn’t encountered her tonight, the future scholar would have been nipped in the bud.

Su Hao couldn’t help but scratch his head and said speechlessly, “So it’s not just me who’s unlucky; some people encounter life-threatening accidents when they’re young.”

Su Hao wasn’t in a hurry. Since he had encountered him, this Murder Demon would end here.

In the previous battle, he had already figured out Murder Demon’s capabilities. Tonight, he didn’t plan to give that Murder Demon any chance to live.

Such a heartless fellow, if allowed to continue existing, who knows what might happen one day in the future? It might cause him regret. After all, there aren’t many people he cares about in this world, but there are still some.

He first covered his face and, with his Radar on, quietly followed the manipulated person from a distance.

After the previous incident, the other party had clearly learned its lesson. This time, it didn’t go straight to its lair but carefully avoided the crowds, making many turns before finally arriving at its destination.

Su Hao once again perceived Murder Demon’s main body.

“Isn’t this the residential area for the high-ranking officials of Lingyun Town?” Su Hao confirmed repeatedly that this was indeed the official residential area of Lingyun Town.

Su Hao thought of Jin Datong, whom he had saved Murder Demon from before. Could it be related to this Jin Datong?

Su Hao first circled the large mansion where Murder Demon was staying. When he reached the main entrance, he saw a plaque with two large characters, “Jin Estate.”

“It is indeed related to Jin Datong.” Su Hao frowned, amplified his Perception, and Jin Datong was not nearby.

Besides Murder Demon, there were no other Grandmasters in Jin Estate.

Su Hao no longer hesitated. He drew his Long Blade, directly scaled the wall, and headed straight for Murder Demon. He was afraid that if he was too late, this young girl would be gone.

He went straight ahead, jumping over obstacles as he encountered them, and soon arrived in front of a luxurious house.

In Su Hao’s Perception, Murder Demon, Manipulation Person, and Little Plum were all inside.

His footsteps didn’t stop. He took a few steps forward, and the light of his blade flashed.

Swish!

The guards at the door were instantly cut in half and fell into the house.

Su Hao rushed straight in.

Their eyes met.

Murder Demon immediately screamed angrily: “It’s you! Shorty!”

Her voice contained endless rage, but more than that, it was fear of facing Su Hao.

Su Hao narrowed his eyes, said nothing, and his Blood Qi surged under his feet, shooting towards Murder Demon.

As he approached her, he swung his Long Blade.

Murder Demon raised her blade to block.

“Clang!”

The two blades collided. Murder Demon’s pupils contracted. The force from the blade was wrong; it wasn’t too heavy, but too light.

“Slipping Shadow Step!”

Su Hao ducked and spun like a phantom, appearing behind Murder Demon.

“Deceptive Stab!”

The tip of the Long Blade thrust upwards from below.

Murder Demon’s eyes were filled with intense fear. She immediately used her life-saving skill.

“Barrier!”

As before, its entire body flashed with Red Light.

Su Hao’s knife tip, aimed at the Murder Demon’s head, couldn’t penetrate. At this moment, the Murder Demon’s counterattack arrived, and Su Hao jumped back.

At this moment, something unexpected happened to Su Hao.

Su Hao heard the Murder Demon yell upwards, its voice far exceeding that of ‘Qinghai-Tibet Plateau,’ shrieking hoarsely: “Biiiiig Brooooother, saaaave meeee—”

The sound broke through the room, tearing a hole in the silent sky.

Su Hao almost swore. This thing couldn’t win and would call for help, how unfair!

He immediately swung his saber forward.

“Slipping Shadow Step!”

Su Hao circled to its side again and slashed down.

The Murder Demon thought Su Hao’s attack was a feint and was ready to change its stance to block, determined to hold on until its big brother arrived to save it.

However, it miscalculated. Su Hao’s strike was powerful, and with a single blow, it was sent flying, crashing into the wall.

As if its old wounds had not healed, it spat out blood.

At this moment, a powerful Blood Qi appeared within Su Hao’s perception range, approaching with incredible speed.

It was Jin Datong. Jin Datong was this Murder Demon’s big brother!

Su Hao, with a blank expression, charged at the Murder Demon, giving it no chance to breathe.

His knife tip aimed at the Murder Demon, thrusting towards its face.

The Murder Demon stared intently at Su Hao’s knife tip, its thick Long Blade blocking with all its might.

Just then, Su Hao’s left hand suddenly opened.

“Strong Light!”

A violent Strong Light burst from his palm. The Murder Demon was caught off guard, its eyes blinded, and it let out a scream. It covered its eyes with one hand, and its head instinctively turned to the side, somehow dodging the knife that Su Hao had aimed at its head.

However, that was the end of it.

Su Hao’s Long Blade, held at the Murder Demon’s ear, turned its edge and swept across.

“Thwack!”

With a muffled yet crisp sound, a head rolled off, and blood sprayed all over the wall.

Su Hao hooked the opponent’s treasured saber with his foot, and it came into his hand. He tried swinging it; it felt good.

Bang!

A nearby wall exploded, and a figure rushed into the room along with the debris, immediately locking onto the decapitated Murder Demon. The newcomer was Jin Datong.

“Demonic Beast!!!” Jin Datong roared hysterically.

His eyes widened, bloodshot, and his gaze was ferocious. His face was contorted in a grimace.

“It’s you! It’s you again! Bastard!! You damn bastard!!!”

Jin Datong’s furious gaze locked onto Su Hao.

The two-meter-tall Jin Datong’s muscles began to bulge, tightening his originally loose clothes, making him look like a small giant.

With a shake of his hands, a pair of steel gauntlets instantly covered his fists.

Jin Datong’s massive physique exerted immense pressure on Su Hao, who was only a little over 1.5 meters tall.

“Die!” Jin Datong’s huge body lunged like a fierce tiger, bringing a fist down towards Su Hao’s head.

He was determined to smash Su Hao into the floor.

Su Hao leaped nimbly, dodging out of the way. Although he didn’t know if he could block the punch, he didn’t want to test it lightly. Jin Datong’s pressure was too immense, not just his physique, but his aura as well.

“Boom!” Gravel flew.

Jin Datong punched the ground, shaking the entire house, and dust rained down from the ceiling.

Su Hao had already begun drawing the “Strong Light” Rune with his left hand the moment he decapitated the Murder Demon, and it was now complete.

He feigned an escape, and the instant Jin Datong caught up, he quietly opened his palm.

“Strong Light!”

Jin Datong was caught off guard, his eyes blinded by Su Hao’s attack.

Seizing the opportunity, Su Hao threw his ordinary Long Blade directly at Jin Datong.

“Thwack!”

The Long Blade pierced through Jin Datong’s chest, its tip protruding from his back. At the critical moment, he had dodged the vital point of his heart.

Jin Datong’s physical strength was extraordinary, but Su Hao’s power, combined with his immense Blood Qi, was even greater!

Su Hao didn’t stop for a moment, his feet Bursting, and holding the wide Long Blade of the Murder Demon, he slashed forward.

Jin Datong was Penetrated by the Long Blade. He grunted, endured the tears streaming down his face, opened his eyes, and raised a fist to block Su Hao’s Long Blade.

Clang!

Jin Datong pressed forward with the momentum.

Bone Shatter!

Another fist shot straight for Su Hao’s face.

Su Hao leaned back, dodging the punch, and kicked the hilt of the sword embedded in Jin Datong.

Swish!

The blade went all the way in. Jin Datong cried out in pain and stumbled back two steps, while Su Hao used the force to retreat.

Jin Datong, with tears in his eyes, stared intently at Su Hao, his eyes burning with flames, no longer rushing to attack.

He seemed to realize that although Su Hao was small, he was not to be trifled with, and if he wasn’t careful, he would also fall here.

Su Hao gasped for air, the intense battle in a short time requiring more oxygen.

Jin Datong also breathed heavily.

He glanced at the Long Blade embedded in his chest, the wound bleeding due to intense movement. Then he reached for the hilt and slowly pulled it out.

Su Hao felt the pain just watching.

Jin Datong casually threw the pulled Long Blade onto the ground.

Clatter~

Jin Datong clenched his fists, veins bulging on his forehead.

Healing!

Then, Su Hao saw an incredible sight.

The sword wound on Jin Datong’s chest stopped bleeding, visibly Healing, until only a shallow scar remained!

Su Hao inwardly cursed: ‘What the hell! He can heal!’
