Chapter 2

Squеаk…!

Сrеak…!!

Twо Gоblins аррeared bеfоre Leе Huseоng’s еуеs.

‘Gоblins…?’

Тhough the Gоblins he had оnlу seеn оn а mоnitоr scrеen wеre now right bеfоrе his еyes, Lеe Нuseong was nоt рanicked at аll.

[LV.1 Gоblin]

[LV.1 Goblin]

The Level аnd nаme written above thеir hеads.

It was thе samе аs whаt hе had seen in <<Geо Arc>>.

Тhе rеason Lее Нuseong сould stand сalmly with Goblins right in front оf him.

Тhey wеrе Levеl 1 Monstеrs, the weakеst Mоnstеrs in <Geo Arc> that аpреаr in the Тutorial.

Тhеу are Мonstеrs thаt dо nоt рosе а thrеat unlеss аttacked first.

But even excluding this reason, he was strangely, abnormally calm.

Creak…! Thud. Thud.

Creak…! Thud. Thud.

The creatures simply walked past Lee Huseong.

“Did I get pulled into the game because of that last message I saw?”

The message that appeared when he tried to quit the game.

When suddenly asked if he wanted to see <Geo Arc>’s ending, Lee Huseong clearly answered.

Of course he wanted to see the ending.

“I don’t know what’s going on, but if I’ve entered the game world, I must have entered as my Character’s body.”

Saying this, Lee Huseong inwardly called out for his Status Window.

While playing the game, he could just click with the mouse, but now he was inside the game, it had become reality.

‘Status Window.’

◈ LV.1

◈ Lee Huseong

◈ Mana: 100/100

◈ Talent: Magic

◈ Skill: (10★)Sage’s Heart

Truly, in the empty air, before Lee Huseong’s eyes, a Status Window appeared.

But contrary to his expectations, his Level was merely 1.

“Did I go back to the beginning…?”

It was a despairing situation, but for some reason, Lee Huseong felt indifferent.

The ‘Sage’s Heart’ he currently possessed.

The one and only 10-star Skill.

Despite being in this situation of having entered the game thanks to this Skill, Lee Huseong could maintain a frightening level of calmness.

“No wonder I felt completely unfazed even when facing Goblins.”

An ordinary person would probably scream in surprise the moment they encountered a Goblin and run away immediately.

‘At least it’s fortunate that I have a 10-star Skill and this Character’s Class is Mage.’

The reason Lee Huseong could reach and maintain the top spot in the Ranking.

As mentioned before, it was thanks to the 10-star Skill ‘Sage’s Heart’.

And the ‘Mage’ Class, which synergized perfectly with ‘Sage’s Heart’, also played a part.

Thump…! Thump…!

Thump…! Thump…!

Before he knew it, the sound of the Goblins’ footsteps had faded into the distance.

Calmly listening, Lee Huseong could hear the sound of his own heart.

On the left side of his chest, his own heart was beating, and on the right side, the Sage’s Heart was beating.

‘It seems I need to see the game’s ending to leave this place.’

If I have the Sage’s Heart and am a Mage, I should be able to see the ending if I do well.

They said the final boss of <Geo Arc> absolutely cannot be defeated alone, but Lee Huseong had pushed the boss to the brink of death before.

“First, since this is reality now, not a game, I don’t know how long it will take.”

The reason the Magic Talent and the ‘Sage’s Heart’ Skill are incredibly efficient.

It was somewhat related to the Skill Description written for Sage’s Heart.

‘Calmness’ was also related to Magic Casting.

And basically, if a Mage panicked, their Magic would often be canceled mid-Casting or fail to hit the target point.

“Shall I give it a try?”

Lee Huseong actually found the current situation a bit interesting.

In the game, the way a Character used Magic was quite cool, and now he could use that Magic himself.

The strange energy flowing through his body since he opened his eyes.

Lee Huseong focused all his nerves on that energy.

Vwoom….

Then, a very faint Mana began to bloom and rise from Lee Huseong’s body.

He had never actually used Mana before, but he calmly concentrated all the Mana into his right hand.

Then, a dazzlingly bright blue, bean-sized Mana floated above Lee Huseong’s hand.

Creak…!

Squeak…!

Thud. Thud.

He threw the Mana gathered in his hand towards the two Goblins that still hadn’t disappeared from his sight.

Whoosh!

Fwoosh!!!

The tiny Orb of Mana began flying swiftly towards the Goblins.

The Goblins, sensing the flying Mana, turned to look belatedly.

But the Mana was already right before their eyes.

Thud.

Fwoosh!!!

The Orb of Mana pierced through the Goblin’s head, and a fountain of green blood erupted from its head.

Creak…!!!!

Then, the Goblin beside it began rushing swiftly towards Lee Huseong.

It looked ready to swing the crude club it held in its right hand at Lee Huseong any second.

‘It’s fine.’

Usually, Users playing <Geo Arc> for the first time die quite a few times in the Tutorial Forest.

No matter how weak Goblins are, the Tutorial in <Geo Arc> doesn’t provide any weapons.

But Lee Huseong was already a man who had stood at the peak of <Geo Arc>.

Moreover, Lee Huseong, who even possessed ‘Sage’s Heart’, was showing tremendous calmness.

He had already anticipated that something like this would happen to some extent.

Vwoom….

Lee Huseong once again drew up the Mana within his body.

Thud. Thud. Thud. Thud.

The Goblin had already approached right before Lee Huseong’s eyes.

It immediately swung the club it held in its hand towards Lee Huseong’s head.

It was an urgent situation, but Lee Huseong maintained his calmness until the end.

From the start, he had calculated the amount of Mana needed to kill two Goblins.

Fwoosh!!!

A situation right before death.

If he died here, he would probably die for real.

Even facing death before his eyes, Lee Huseong was incredibly composed.

Vwoom…!!

At that moment, the Mana blooming from his body gathered again in his right hand, and a blue Orb of Mana formed.

“Die.”

Thump…! Thump…! Thump…!

Though showing tremendous calmness, Lee Huseong’s heart was pounding wildly.

It was natural, as he was suddenly thrust into a life-or-death struggle the moment he opened his eyes.

But the other heart on his right side, the ‘Sage’s Heart’, was very quiet.

As if the current situation was nothing special.

Thud.

Fwoosh!!!

The blue Orb of Mana Lee Huseong launched pierced the Goblin’s chest.

The Goblin with a hole in its chest collapsed on the spot, and the club it had swung, which had flown right to the tip of Lee Huseong’s nose, ultimately did not reach him.

Thud.

“Phew…”

Only after the two Goblins were completely dead could Lee Huseong finally let go of his tension.

Perhaps because he used more Mana than expected, he had no energy left in his body.

He wanted to sit right down and rest a bit, but he couldn’t.

‘First, I need to go to the village.’

To finish the Tutorial, he needs to get out of here and go to the village.

Lee Huseong, in the center of the forest, looked around and began searching for the location of the village.

Though only lush grass and trees were visible around, Lee Huseong, who had played <Geo Arc> like an addict for three years, looked towards a place where the grass was unusually sparse.

‘If I go that way, there was a village.’

He immediately moved his steps in that direction and walked towards where the village was.

Another Goblin might jump out in the middle, but he still had a bit of Mana left.

‘I can handle about two by myself.’

Thud. Thud.

Thud. Thud.

Lee Huseong began walking alone through the forest to reach the village.

The abundance of grass around was bothersome, but it wasn’t that big of a problem.

About thirty minutes passed like that.

Lee Huseong could confirm the village visible in the distance.

“As expected, this direction was correct.”

Once I get to the village, I should be able to learn more detailed circumstances.

Though I’ve already confirmed it’s almost 90% the inside of <Geo Arc>, I think I need to talk to someone to be sure.

While continuing to walk towards the direction where the village was visible, something suddenly occurred to him.

‘Wait a moment….’

He stopped his briskly walking steps and became lost in thought.

‘The 10-star Skill I obtained in the Tutorial Forest, I have it with me as is.’

The place inside the Tutorial Forest where Lee Huseong luckily obtained the Skill.

Then, what exactly is there now?

‘When I checked with another account after obtaining the Skill, there was nothing.’

The 10-star Skill ‘Sage’s Heart’ completely disappeared from the Tutorial Forest after Lee Huseong obtained it.

But now Lee Huseong is inside the game <Geo Arc>.

For some reason, he felt there might be something else at the place where he discovered the Skill.

Of course, it was only a slight possibility, but since you can’t re-enter the Tutorial Forest once you leave in the game, it wouldn’t be bad to check once before leaving.

“Shall I go?”

The place where Lee Huseong could obtain a whopping 10-star Skill.

That place wasn’t very far from where he was now.

The 10-star Skill he could obtain by chance in the past after getting lost in the Tutorial Forest.

‘If I turn right here and keep walking, it was there, probably.’

Lee Huseong turned his body and immediately moved his steps towards that place.

The place where a whopping 10-star Skill, which none of <Geo Arc>’s Users obtained, had been.

He felt a bit of anticipation about what might be there.

Thud. Thud.

Thud. Thud.

The place with the 10-star Skill was beneath a huge rock.

To be precise, it was inside a large hole dug behind a huge rock.

Lee Huseong had fled here to escape the pursuit of Goblins during his first time in the Tutorial Forest.

“Seeing it in reality, it’s much larger than what I saw in the game.”

Then he fell into that large hole behind this rock, and inside, he obtained the 10-star Skill Sage’s Heart.

Except for the two Goblins he first met, he hadn’t encountered any Goblins yet.

Goblins don’t attack Players unless attacked first, but Lee Huseong has already killed two Goblins.

‘I must be their target now.’

In the game, if you kill one Goblin, you become the target of other Goblins.

If a Goblin appears now, it would be quite troublesome.

‘First, let’s find that hole.’

Lee Huseong walked quickly around the huge rock to the back.

Sure enough, a large hole was dug behind the rock.

Lee Huseong bent down and peered into the bottom of the hole.

It seemed the hole was quite deep, as he couldn’t see inside at all from above.

Thud. Thud.

Squeak…!

Creak…!

An ominous sound coming from behind.

Hearing that sound, Lee Huseong quickly turned to look back.

Squeeeak…!!

Squeak!!

Screech!!

Before he knew it, three Goblins were walking towards Lee Huseong from between the trees.

Perhaps because their comrades had died, they looked quite heated.

“Damn….”

Not much Mana remained.

At best, he could handle about two Goblins.

Lee Huseong fell deep into thought.

Screech!!!

Thud. Thud. Thud. Thud.

The Goblins, each holding a club in their right hand, charged towards Lee Huseong.

Looking ready to smash Lee Huseong’s skull any second.
