Chapter 36 – Go to Hell (Part Two)

After finishing her inspection, Ye Yunxi wiped the sweat from her forehead and tossed the tools to Sun Chao, then gracefully slipped into the driver’s seat.

Her dark eyes pierced through the kaleidoscope of shifting figures as a wild, untamable smile curled at her lips. “Hey handsome, want to be my navigator?”

Navigator?

Wasn’t that the person who sat in the passenger seat during races to guide the driver?

Was she really trusting him this much? Asking him to be her navigator?

Sun Chao hesitated for a moment, glancing at Ming Siye and the others before decisively sliding into the passenger seat without another thought.

“Yes!”

Today he was going all out, if only to prove himself!

“Heh…”

Ye Yunxi leisurely drove the car to the starting line. Outside the window, raucous music blared as young bodies swayed wildly to the rhythm. Sun Chao was nervous, so nervous that his palms were sweating.

The System trembled, yet simultaneously felt incredibly excited. As it processed this reaction, it began to deeply loathe itself.

Could it be… its true nature was actually masochistic??

With the exchange complete, Ye Yunxi smiled with satisfaction.

“Good.”

That single word of praise made the System go weak all over, almost melting completely onto Ye Yunxi.

She needed Stamina. While her skills were intact, her physical body needed to keep up!

“Hold on tight!”

Hold on tight?

Sun Chao was momentarily confused. Between the two cars, a cheerful young woman had already waved the flag, and both luxury cars shot forward as if their lives depended on it. With a deafening roar, they streaked like two meteors into the darkness!

“Ahhh!!!”

Sun Chao screamed in terror.

Holy shit holy shit holy shit!

So fast!

He hadn’t gotten a proper grip yet ahhh!

The screams only excited Ye Yunxi.

In Yan Country, there was a special military unit whose training encompassed all skills, including street racing!

And she belonged to this secret force!

Though recently she’d been focused on counter-terrorism operations with little chance to drive, it seemed tonight she could play to her heart’s content!

Ye Yunxi slammed hard on the accelerator. As the car surged forward, her body instinctively leaned back. She glanced at the other car outside her window – Dao Ge was looking back at her too, but the man responded with a sinister grin, dragging his finger across his throat in a “go die” gesture.

Then Dao Ge accelerated, instantly overtaking Ye Yunxi’s car and taking the lead.

Ahead lay the first curve!

“Screech!!”

The piercing sound jolted Sun Chao back to attention. When he realized what was happening, they were already approaching the first turn!

“Hey navigator, are you actually any good at this?”

Ye Yunxi chewed her gum, her eyes fixed intently on the rear of the car ahead.Sun Chao’s face flushed red. Right, he was the navigator! He’d been so terrified by the extreme speed earlier that he’d actually forgotten!!!

Ahem, how fucking embarrassing!
