Chapter 375 – Shark Alert (Part Five)
Chapter 375 – Shark Alert (Part Five)
She reached out and grabbed the plastic bag, exchanged a small knife from the System, cut through the plastic ring, then exchanged some Medicine and fed it to the white dolphin.
The wound healed quickly, but its body remained permanently deformed from the constriction. The skin and flesh around its tail fin were all squeezed together, creating a shocking sight even after the wound had healed.
“Go, you’re free now.”
Ye Yunxi patted the white dolphin. The dolphins chirped their thanks to her before swimming away, but the little white dolphin didn’t go far, instead circling around her.
[Ding! Successfully tamed third pet: White Dolphin Xiaobai. Reward: 50000 Prestige! Stamina +100!]
Stamina actually increased to 100??
Thinking back, Ball and Hades only had 30 and 50 Stamina respectively. Could it be because dolphins are more intelligent and belong to higher animals?
“However, I can’t take you home with me. You should stay in the ocean.”
Ye Yunxi stroked the little dolphin’s head, making Xiaobai reveal an even more joyful smile. Ye Yunxi simply exchanged another pack of dolphin-specific Feed and scattered it directly into the sea.
Not only Xiaobai, but the other dolphins also excitedly swam circles around Ye Yunxi, eagerly consuming this highly nutritious food.
After distributing most of the feed, Ye Yunxi clapped her hands and prepared to swim back, but was suddenly lifted out of the water by a pair of large hands.
Turning around, she saw Di Junxie holding onto a single-person sailboat with one hand while placing her beside him.
“Do you know how dangerous this is?”
The Young Emperor’s tone was unusually stern, his dark eyes scanning the sea surface vigilantly. Besides the dolphins happily competing for food, no sharks were visible.
“Were you worried about me?”
Ye Yunxi narrowed her eyes with a smile, reaching out to touch the small sailboat. It was really nice – professional grade, though designed for single person. With her added weight, it seemed somewhat strained.
The Young Emperor sighed, cupping her fair cheeks with both hands, and said in a low voice: “Don’t do things that make me worry, understand?”
A warm feeling rose in her heart. Looking at the man’s completely soaked suit pants and the shirt clinging to his body from seawater, vaguely outlining his lean and powerful physique, Ye Yunxi knew he probably hadn’t even had time to change clothes before rushing out on this single-person sailboat.
“Hey, send someone immediately to replace the Shark Net, and fire that manager for me!”
Taking out the walkie-talkie, Di Junxie’s expression was grimly unpleasant.
Having sharks appear in a well-maintained Private Beach, and nearly biting his wife – the people he hired might as well all be dismissed!
The voice from the other end of the walkie-talkie sounded equally panicked, but Di Junxie didn’t give them any chance to explain, directly cutting off the communication and hanging the device on the sailboat.
A gentle breeze swept across the sea, stirring ripples on the surface. The Young Emperor skillfully maneuvered the sailboat, cruising smoothly across the ocean.
With powerful movements and resilient, strong lines, the man expertly extended his body. Under his control, the sailboat moved as lightly as a leaf, swiftly cutting through the water.
Suddenly a wave approached, and Di Junxie expertly flipped the sail. The small boat leaped up, splashing crystalline water droplets that dazzled everyone on shore.
“Oh my god, who is that man? So handsome!”
“Heavens, those skills are professional level!”
“So envious of Ye Yunxi – we want to ride too!””Hmph, probably just a maritime safety lifeguard. What’s there to envy?”
Liu Rulan snorted coldly, disdainfully rolling her eyes. She admitted the man was quite handsome, but so what? Just a maritime safety lifeguard—how could he possibly compare to Second Young Master’s status!
