Chapter 379 – Dangerous Mission (Part Four)
Chapter 379 – Dangerous Mission (Part Four)
An outsider?
Based on her past life’s experience, this seemed like an extremely dangerous mission. From the previous incident in Yang City to this encounter with Hua Bi San, having her cooperate as an outsider could only mean one thing—this mission was perilous, and this man didn’t want her to bear that danger!
AS was originally the most covert organization; even in her past life, she couldn’t figure out what those AS members were actually doing.
She instinctively asked, “Is it dangerous?”
The Young Emperor smiled, pulling her into his embrace and whispering softly, “I will never let you face even the slightest danger.”
Exactly!
That’s why he wanted her to be an outsider!
She always felt this was a mission that had been planned for a long time and carried extremely high risks.
“Your role will be as Di Junxie’s lover. You need to frequently appear by my side, using your eyes to remember everything you see, including every tiny detail!”
“So you brought me in this early—does that mean this mission will span a long time?”
Di Junxie couldn’t help but laugh. See, his wife was so clever. This mission had taken ten years just to set up, progressing step by step until now, and they had only just made contact with that criminal organization. To dismantle this gang wouldn’t take just a year or two—it would likely require even longer.
“Scared?”
The Young Emperor chuckled lightly, “Don’t worry, as long as you’re involved in this mission, I will definitely be by your side!”
“Why me?”
Why choose her?
Or rather, why did it have to be her?
Within AS, there must be many capable female soldiers, right?
“Because aside from you, I don’t want to touch anyone else.”
After saying this, he directly pushed Ye Yunxi onto the bed and pressed down on her forcefully.
What was this guy doing!
Ye Yunxi was startled, “Are you crazy? What are you doing?!”
“Taking you!”
His tone was sinister and domineering; even her intact dress was torn to shreds under his hands. Ye Yunxi found it unbelievable—how could this man change so quickly? Unless…
She instinctively glanced toward the door and indeed sensed a burning gaze.
Someone was peeping!
Tsk, this Hua Bi San actually had such a hobby!
“Get off me!”
Well, she might as well cooperate and put on a good act!
Ye Yunxi struggled desperately, the room filled with the sounds of scuffling and heavy breathing.
Outside the door, Hua Bi San let out a sinister laugh and pushed the door open.
“Young Emperor, not enjoying the process?”
The sudden voice made both people on the bed freeze.
They were both in a disheveled state—Ye Yunxi’s clothes were mostly torn, with scraps barely covering her vital areas. The Young Emperor frowned, pulling the blanket over to wrap around her before standing up.
His fine shirt was also torn in several places, and it was clear from his expression that he was extremely displeased at having been interrupted during his intimate moment.
“Let’s talk outside!”
Hua Bi San deliberately glanced at Ye Yunxi before turning to leave.
After everyone had gone, Ye Yunxi finally let out a sigh, picking at the remains of her clothes. Seeing they were beyond repair, she rummaged through the wardrobe, found a set of men’s clothes, and changed into them.
As for what the two men discussed in secret, no one knew.
All that was known was that by nightfall, Hua Bi San had left.
Di Junxie finally returned to his usual self and brought Ye Yunxi back to the port.
The bodyguards were still lined up in a row.
“Has he left?” Ye Yunxi asked.
“Mm.”
“Did I act convincingly?”
“Heh, not bad.”The words had barely left his mouth when a strange disturbance came from beneath the water. A figure swiftly broke away, swimming frantically toward the sea!
“Damn it, Young Emperor! Someone was eavesdropping!”
Everyone’s expressions shifted dramatically. Could their ten-year-long mission really fall apart here?
