The two hurried off and were the first to arrive at Holiday Cinema.

It was a weekend, and a summer holiday weekend at that. Normally, the cinema should have been packed, but for some reason, this particular cinema was unusually quiet.

“Brother Hao, this place is so quiet. Why did Miss Yunxi choose here?”

Wang Zaihao shook his head, equally puzzled.

“It’s fine. We’ll know when Miss Yunxi arrives!”

No sooner had he spoken than the elevator dinged open, revealing Ye Yunxi accompanied by her father and brother.

After not seeing her for so long, Wang Zaihao felt that Miss Yunxi seemed to have grown taller. Her complexion was better too—her skin remained smooth, but she carried herself with more authority now.

He quickly stepped forward to greet them: “Miss Ye, President Ye, Young Master Ye.”

Ye Yunxi nodded. “Let’s go. Take us to meet this president.”

“Miss Ye, if I may be so bold, could I ask why you chose to come here? From what I know, Holiday Cinema under Holiday Group doesn’t seem to be doing very well.”

Just look at this deserted scene—what cinema could fall to such a state?

Ye Yunxi smiled. “Of course, to give them a chance to regain their former glory!”

The usually waited-on Wang Zaihao now respectfully held the door open, allowing a young girl to enter first.

“Miss, please!”

Ye Yunxi nodded and stepped inside.

Though Holiday Cinema had few patrons, the general manager’s office was luxuriously spacious and bright—enough to show that this place had once seen glorious days.

Qin Ziheng glanced at Ye Yunxi. Was this girl still in school? Was she even 18? Why would an arrogant troublemaker like Wang Zaihao hold the door for her?

After a moment of surprise, Qin Ziheng offered a hollow smile to Wang Zaihao. “Uncle Hao, dropping by unannounced with such a grand entrance? But matters in our West City aren’t any of your East District’s business, are they?”

Wang Zaihao twitched his eyelids, inwardly panicking. He’d almost forgotten—he and this Qin Ziheng had some unpleasant history between them!I was so focused on being able to do something for Miss Ye that I completely forgot about this!

What should I do now?

If this matter gets messed up, would Miss Yunxi directly kick him out of Night Phoenix with a powerful blow??
