Chapter 105 – To Protect These Days
Chapter 105 – To Protect These Days
“W-Wait, you two!?”
“Just for a bit! We’re only gonna soak a little!”
“Soak a little? What the hell does that mean?!”
“D-Don’t complain now that we’ve come all this way! Just give in!”
“Exactly. There’s no escaping. The moment you stepped into this house, it was already decided.”
Dragged along by an enthusiastic Kaguya and Reina, Kenya was hauled into the bathroom.
If these two got serious, Kenya—without his KOG—would be easy prey for them.
And it was only natural that his body reacted to the thought with a naughty thrill.
“So this is what it feels like to be overpowered…”
His clothes were forcibly stripped off, and he was tossed into the bath.
He managed to convince them to let him handle his underwear himself, so he wrapped a towel around his waist and sat on the stool.
“Sorry about this. It’s all because I’ve been such a downer.”
Thinking back to Road turning into an enemy made the darkness threaten to creep in again.
Sensing that, the two were forcing themselves to cheer him up, even if it meant doing something like this despite their reluctance.
That was how Kenya understood it.
Clack.
“Hah… hah… Kenya. You’ve got some pretty nice abs there. Slurp.“
“My heart’s pounding. What is this feeling? Is this real lust? Ah, drool…”
Until he looked at the two girls, their cheeks flushed with sadistic grins.
On that day, Kenya remembered—they were top-tier physical powerhouses in the world.
“C-Calm down? Both of you.”
The two inched closer, step by predatory step. Even with towels wrapped up to their chests, it was way too stimulating.
Their breathing sounded heavy, too.
“Reina, Kaguya?”
Inch.
“Hey, talk to me or something? You two?”
Inch, inch, inch.
“Huh? Wait—”
Inch, inch, inch.
“U-Uwaaaah—!”
What happened to Kenya after that? Only the three of them knew.
…
“Phew. This water’s great… So relaxing…”
“Sorry, I kinda lost it there.”
“M-Me too… I got caught up in some weird mood… Bubble bubble.“
Kaguya was submerged up to her mouth in the bath, bashfully blowing bubbles.
Watching her, Kenya smiled genuinely.
“Thanks, both of you. I feel better now.”
“Is that what you mean?”
“No, not like that. Let’s put that stuff on hold for now, okay?”
“My apologies.”
A brief silence enveloped the three.
Reina and Kaguya watched Kenya.
They quietly waited for him to speak.
And then Kenya opened his mouth.
“…I’m gonna fight.”
Those words were his resolve.
“I’ll fight Road. And I made a promise to that girl Sophie. I’m gonna fight Road and stop him.”
His expression wasn’t the gloomy one from before—it was the face of someone who’d made up his mind.
“Yes, I’ll fight alongside you.”
“Me too, Kenya. Let’s do our best.”
The two girls smiled back, their own resolve shining through.
Kenya steeled himself.
Moping around after all they’d done for him wasn’t manly.
“Alright! Now that that’s settled, time for some grub! I’m starving!”
Kenya stood up.
No more hesitation. He’d trust his own strength and take down Road, the enemy of the world.
He didn’t know if Road was wrong or not.
But he had to stop him anyway.
That’s what he thought a friend’s duty was.
And so Kenya stood tall. Straight and true.
“Kenya-kun♥”
“Kenya! Hurry! Here!”
Kaguya handed him a towel.
Kenya remembered where he was—his situation.
His body was honest; standing up next to his two beloved girls had him rising in more ways than one.
“Ah…”
…
They got out of the bath and ate curry.
The delicious curry, so good it brought tears to his eyes, filled Kenya with energy effortlessly.
“So good!”
“…Hate to admit it, but it’s seriously delicious.”
“Kenya-kun, request it anytime.”
It was a heartwarming family meal, impossible to believe a world war was raging.
Feeling this happy everyday life, Kenya reaffirmed his resolve to fight for it.
“…Stuffed now. Haven’t felt this relaxed in ages… I’m beat. Wanna crash, Kaguya, Reina?”
Content, Kenya suggested it to Reina and Kaguya.
“Sure.”
“Got it. We’re wiped today anyway. Let’s sleep, Kaguya.”
“Hm?”
Reina whispered something to Kaguya with a suggestive tone.
Kaguya blushed a little but nodded.
Kenya had no idea what they were scheming, but exhaustion hit its limit, so he went to wash his face and brush his teeth.
Somehow, the two had vanished from the living room, but they’d fought a brutal battle today.
They must be wiped too.
After risking their lives to save him, their nerves were frayed to the max—they were probably out cold.
“Yawwwn~. Time for bed.”
So Kenya headed to the bedroom.
The former Zeke’s room had a king-size bed that rivaled the mansion in Valhalla.
The futon was neatly laid out, looking comfy.
Kenya flipped it open energetically.
And there they were.
“…Knew it.”
Two beauties had snuck under the covers.
“Ahaha, busted?”
“Let’s sleep together today.”
As expected, they’d burrowed in.
Reina in the same negligee from that day, Kaguya in sporty underwear.
Honestly, both were right up his alley.
“Heave-ho.”
“W-Wait! Huh? Hold on!”
“You’re the ones who invited me, right?”
Kenya couldn’t keep getting toyed with by these girls.
It was a matter of pride.
So he wedged himself forcefully between Kaguya and Reina.
“What’s wrong, Kaguya?”
He stared at her from point-blank range.
Kaguya had confidence in offense, but her defense was paper-thin.
She’d been all smug earlier, but now her eyes darted wildly.
Emboldened, Kenya wrapped an arm around her and leaned in close—kissably close.
“Ah… W-Wait… S-Sowwy.”
With a psshh, Kaguya turned beet red and tapped out.
She hid her face with her hands, overheating.
Kenya fist-pumped internally.
Victory for him tonight.
But then—
Squish.
“Not gonna give me any?”
His other formidable foe had forgotten all shame.
“O-Oh!?”
“I’m good all the way.”
A soft sensation against his back. He turned, and those beautiful blue eyes stared straight back without flinching.
Kenya averted his gaze first.
But Reina’s assault continued.
She took his hand and guided it to her chest.
The impossibly soft feel in his palm—he squeezed on instinct, pure biology.
“Ah… Ah… S-Sowwy.”
Kenya covered his face with one hand, smoking from the ears, knocked out.
The virgin fell easily.
“Hehe, just kidding. Let’s sleep. That one’s at her limit too.”
Kenya thought he’d gained the upper hand, only for Reina to outplay him tenfold.
In this trio’s pecking order, Reina reigned supreme.
“Reina, how are you so composed?”
“Total defeat.”
“Can’t beat her in KOG, but I might here.”
They lay side by side on the bed, laughing.
“Kaguya, tell me about the past six months since we last met.”
“Sure. Well, it started when Byakuren confessed to me.”
“Huh?”
“Well, he wasn’t bad-looking… I thought you were dead, Kenya, and I was lonely, so actually… just once.”
“No way… That’s NTR.”
“Kidding! Don’t worry, no cheating.”
For the first time, the three could relax and share stories of their time apart.
“I fought Osiris at the Empire Sword Martial Festival. He was seriously strong.”
“That guy who saved us? The monster. I was shocked—really thought I was gonna die.”
“Yeah, even at full strength, not sure I’d win. Strongest I’ve ever faced, and super cool too.”
They talked naturally until sleep took them.
So much to say—six months packed with events.
The six months, Kenya’s past, Reina’s past, Kaguya’s past.
They shared it all, laughing, grieving, merging memories.
But the fierce battle caught up, and before they knew it, the three were asleep.
The next morning, sunlight bathed them, ushering in a crisp dawn.
A refreshing morning impossible to believe came amid a world war—they woke naturally.
“Morning, you two.”
“Good morning, Kenya-kun.”
“Morning, Kenya.”
And so, fate began to stir.
The reason Kenya came to this world. The final battle to reach the NEW Route.
