Chapter 82 – Recognized, A Dilemma
Chapter 82 – Recognized, A Dilemma
The two walked downstairs, found the police car from earlier, got in, and immediately drove off in the direction where the T-1000 was pursuing.
With the assistance of two players from the Human Camp, it would have been relatively simple for the main characters to shake off the T-1000, but merely escaping wasn’t their goal. So, the main characters and the human players reached a consensus—to lure the T-1000 into the steel mill.
Their aim was to completely destroy the T-1000.
Xiao Wuwang wasn’t particularly concerned about whether the T-1000 was destroyed or not.
But he didn’t want the final showdown to take place in the steel mill.
The complex environment of the steel mill might be an ideal ambush spot for players from the Human Camp, but for him, it was filled with unknown dangers.
He absolutely could not follow the script set by the others.
The police car sped away.
Soon, they arrived at a large bridge.
On the bridge, traffic had come to a complete standstill.
This was likely the result of the chase between the two sides earlier on the road.
“Get out! We’ll run across!”
Unfazed by the shock of onlookers, Xiao Wuwang directly stored the police car in his Portable Space.
Then, the two of them rushed straight toward the other side of the bridge.
After passing the congested section, Xiao Wuwang took the police car out again and continued speeding forward.
They weren’t worried about losing track of the main characters, as the police car’s broadcast system was constantly announcing the direction in which the main characters were fleeing.
Before long, Xiao Wuwang encountered them on a relatively narrow street.
Xiao Wuwang had already gotten out of the car, while Han Xing, disregarding the danger, drove the police car straight toward one of the players from the Human Camp.
Mistaking it for a police blockade, the player didn’t pay much attention. He fired several shots at the driver’s seat, then shifted his focus to the T-1000 pursuing from behind.
The gun in his hand was a Level 3 firearm—if it hit, no ordinary person in this world would survive.
But Han Xing was no ordinary person!
Han Xing charged straight toward the bullets without flinching.
With several dull bangs, the bullets tore open gaps in its body, but they quickly healed on their own.
Its car continued to crash directly into the player’s vehicle.
By the time the player realized what was happening, Han Xing was already upon him, leaving him no time to react.
“Boom!”
The two cars collided, the immense impact causing both vehicles to deform severely.
Even though the human player was Level 4, his Constitution wasn’t particularly high—barely 30 points. Under such a severe impact, he was instantly critically injured.
His leg was crushed, and he was trapped in the deformed seat, unable to move. Additionally, several of his ribs were broken, with the fractured bones piercing his internal organs. Gushing blood continuously spilled from his mouth.
On the other side, Han Xing melted into Liquid Metal, flowing out of the twisted and deformed car body. In the blink of an eye, it reformed into a human shape.
Seeing this, the player’s eyes widened in disbelief. The Terminator T-1000 was clearly behind them—how could it appear here!
Han Xing had no intention of explaining. It remained committed to the task Xiao Wuwang had assigned—to slay these two human players as quickly as possible!
With a few quick steps, Han Xing approached the player.
Then, its hand, like a Sharp steel blade, easily pierced through the player’s eye socket and plunged deep into his brain.
The player didn’t even have time to scream before his body convulsed violently, then went limp, losing all signs of life.
A Supply Crate was left beside him.
After confirming one kill, Han Xing quickly locked onto another Human Camp player.
That player’s vehicle was behind the main characters’ car. He was responsible for luring the T-1000 from behind and hadn’t paid much attention to the situation ahead.
But before Han Xing could attack the human player, a loud “Boom” echoed as a massive hole was blasted through Han Xing’s chest.
It was an attack Triggered by the T-800 with a shotgun.
This scene also caught the attention of that player.
He glanced at Han Xing, then looked back at the T-1000 driving the liquid nitrogen truck behind him. He was horrified, thinking, “Can someone tell me why there are two T-1000s?!”
With one T-1000, he could still work with the main characters to trap and destroy it. But with an additional T-1000, he would be the one to die!
At that moment, the player began to feel fear. He had a premonition that if he continued to linger, he would truly die!
However, before he could figure out how to escape, the sound of “Boom, Boom” reached his ears.
Xiao Wuwang, lurking nearby, had been waiting for their vehicle to approach.
The deafening roar came from the M870 Berserk Shotgun (Modified Type III) in his hands.
Even though his car was a modified bulletproof vehicle, it couldn’t withstand the power of the +2 shotgun shells. The windows and doors were instantly shattered into pieces!
“It’s over!” flashed through the human player’s mind before he was sent tumbling along with the out-of-control car.
When he regained consciousness, he saw a flash of Silver rapidly closing in on his eye socket.
“Splurt!”
He followed in his companion’s footsteps.
Xiao Wuwang approached, collecting the Supply Crate left behind by the human player.
He then scanned his surroundings, assessing the situation.
At this point, the T-800 had already engaged the T-1000 in combat.
After handing the steering wheel over to Sarah Connor, the T-800 grabbed an M16, climbed out of the car, and jumped into the driver’s seat of the T-1000’s truck. He then pressed the trigger and held it down, unleashing a relentless barrage of bullets.
Under the intense close-range gunfire, the T-1000’s body was riddled with holes. The truck immediately went out of control, swerving wildly on the road before screeching to a halt and flipping over.
The T-1000 was shattered by the T-800’s gunfire under the liquid nitrogen cooling, while the main characters, with the T-800’s help, escaped into the steel mill.
The plot had returned to its predetermined course, leaving Xiao Wuwang somewhat frustrated.
However, the Human Camp players had been completely wiped out by him, which was good news.
As long as no one from his own Camp betrayed him, the mission for this Platform challenge would be Consummated.
Xiao Wuwang waited for a while before preparing to follow Han Xing into the steel mill to finish things off.
But just as he reached the entrance, he collided head-on with John Connor.
Xiao Wuwang was about to raise his gun and shoot him when Sarah Connor called out from behind, “Xiao? Is that you? Are you here to save us?”
Xiao Wuwang paused slightly, surprised that Sarah Connor could still recognize him.
He had crossed paths with Sarah Connor in the Terminator 1 world. Killing her son right in front of her seemed a bit too heartless.
If he didn’t kill John Connor, his Camp Core Mission 1 would fail. Not only would he receive no rewards, but he would also be penalized 100 Infinite Coins.
For a moment, Xiao Wuwang found himself in a dilemma.
