Chapter 162 – He Can Never Be Killed
Chapter 162 – He Can Never Be Killed
Under the tranquil night sky, moonlight frequently cast silvery beams.
By this faint illumination, Ye Kuang took in the devastated state of the hall, yet his heart remained utterly unperturbed.
To him, the opponent before him was not human, so he felt not a shred of guilt.
Crack!
When Ye Kuang stepped on a piece of glass, he had no choice but to halt his steps.
Because a thick scent of blood had begun to permeate the air.
Ston had miraculously risen to his feet once again, and even the horrifying wounds on his wings had healed in the blink of an eye, as if they were nothing but minor scratches.
“Damn bastard, I’ll kill you!!!”
As soon as the words fell, Ston was clearly consumed by uncontrollable rage.
Bang!
With a violent stomp that echoed through the hall, Ston lunged forward with astonishing speed, closing the distance between them in an instant.
Ye Kuang’s Movement Technique unfolded simultaneously. Just as claw tips swept through where he had been standing, he shifted positions to behind Ston, delivering a vicious elbow strike.
Thud!
The impact resonated like the violent beat of a leather drum, momentarily deafening.
In that instant, Ston couldn’t withstand the force and collapsed to the ground, gasping for breath.
Ye Kuang followed up with a fierce stomp, clearly imbued with a trace of killing intent.
Boom!
But his kick met only air, shattering the floor three zhang away.
Mid-air in the hall, Ston quietly materialized, his silver eyes scanning back and forth as if hunting for prey. Yet the moment he turned his head, he was struck down from the air by a punch.
Thud thud thud.
A series of collisions with the ground ensued. Even someone as powerful as Ston couldn’t help but roar in humiliated fury: “Damn it! How can I, a dignified Earl, be no match for a mere human?”
Hearing this, Ye Kuang quietly reappeared, spreading his arms and bringing them together toward the creature before him.
In that moment, under dazzling golden radiance, an enraged dragon soared into view.
Leaping from Abyss!
Roar roar roar!
A violent gust of wind erupted uncontrollably, fully displaying the Wandering Dragons encircling his form.
The dragon’s four claws seemed tangible as they viciously pierced into Ston’s body.
Rip!
Amid the sound of tearing, one of Ston’s arms was brutally torn off.
Faster than words can tell!
A storm of black rain and bloody wind swept in all directions, filling the air with a nauseating stench.
Ye Kuang swiftly leaped to the second floor, fixing his gaze on his opponent in the hall below.
“Heh heh… cough… ha ha ha…”
But unexpectedly, Ston suddenly began to chuckle darkly, the laughter growing increasingly uncontrollable until he vanished from sight in the blink of an eye.
Throughout the hall, dark shadows frequently flickered into existence. Ston picked up his severed arm from the ground and directly reattached it to the stump.
As layers of Dark Radiance bloomed, the arm miraculously healed!
“Even this didn’t faze him? Is this guy unkillable?” Ye Kuang couldn’t help but murmur to himself upon seeing this.
But abruptly, he spun around and unleashed a Springing Leg.
Wham!
Somehow, Ston had been sent flying by that kick, disappearing into a pile of tables and chairs.
Witnessing Ston’s ghostly movements, Ye Kuang immediately became cautious, his eyes locked intently on the rubble below.
Little did he know that when Ston rose again, he appeared completely unharmed, saying: “What’s wrong? You’d better not let your guard down, kid, or I’ll tear you to pieces.”As he spoke, the shadowy figure vanished once more, and Ston lunged forward again.
Witnessing this, Ye Kuang couldn’t suppress his fury, his hair whipping wildly as he roared, “I refuse to believe I can’t beat you to death!”
The moment his words fell, golden and black radiance erupted in the hall. After a brief clash, the two lights scattered and darted chaotically through the air.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Countless wild fists shot out, exploding upon impact with the ground and causing the rooftop to collapse entirely.
As Ye Kuang flickered into view, his gaze sharpened like blades. He snatched a chair and hurled it at the shadowy figure soaring mid-air. Simultaneously, his arms swung wide, palms thrusting forward with immense force.
Twin Dragons Draw Water!
Roar! Roar! Roar!
Two furious dragons spiraled upward, plunging into the whirlwind of splintered chair fragments and clamping onto a pair of arms each.
In an instant, the twin dragons pinned Ston firmly against a wall.
Seizing the opportunity, Ye Kuang dashed forth, drawing his arms back like a fully drawn bow, unleashing a torrent of Subduing Tiger Fist Intent!
“Ahhhh…!”
At that moment, Ye Kuang’s fists rained down like a storm, the roar of his punches echoing relentlessly.
Amid his rising and falling bellows, the entire scene descended into chaos.
Now at the Empty Clarity realm, Ye Kuang could fully harness the True Qi coursing through his body. Combined with his Divine Martial prowess and Creation Power, his strength was far beyond a simple sum of its parts!
With each successive punch, Ston’s body was riddled as if by machine-gun fire.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Amid the ebb and flow of Vigorous Qi, even the sturdy wall cracked and shattered under the explosive impacts.
Ston was blasted clear out of the hall by a final, devastating blow.
Ye Kuang charged after him without hesitation, launching a relentless assault on the shadowy figure tumbling aside.
Ston raised his arms to block, but a single palm strike shattered his bones. Writhing in agony, he retaliated by snapping his jaws forward.
Seeing the creature’s ferocity, Ye Kuang decisively retreated.
When his eyes fell upon his opponent again, they couldn’t help but narrow sharply.
Ston’s arm rotated briefly, and the broken bones and tendons knitted themselves back together seamlessly.
Though his face grew paler, the bloody aura enveloping him thickened ominously.
“I cannot be killed! Hahaha…” Ston taunted, advancing step by step toward Ye Kuang. “But you are different. Once your strength wanes, I will devour you.”
Were it not for the innate vitality of a vampire, Ston would have long perished under Ye Kuang’s frenzied assault.
And though Ston remained baffled by the source of Ye Kuang’s power, that was no reason to spare him.
Ye Kuang stared at his approaching foe, fists clenching tightly.
Just then, Sophia’s voice carried from afar.
“Don’t waste your energy! Physical attacks are useless. To kill him, you must destroy his Blood Core. Otherwise, he will never die!”
“Sophia, you treacherous wench! How dare you reveal our Blood Clan’s secrets to a human? Do you seek to destroy our kind?” Enraged, Ston lunged at Sophia.
At this critical juncture, Ye Kuang moved with startling speed, outpacing even his previous bursts.
Sophia had braced for combat, but at the sight of that familiar back, her entire body trembled. In that fleeting moment, it wasn’t fear that made her heart tremble, but excitement that made her forget all apprehension.
