Chapter 1: Transmigrating into the Game
Chapter 1: Transmigrating into the Game
(The story takes place in a parallel world, all characters are adults, the protagonist is not mistreated, the first few hundred words only introduce the difficulties the protagonist is currently facing.)
In the year 2029, technology has transformed society, but the one thing that remains unchanged is violence between people.
Bopomo Kingdom, Dragon Roar City, Longming Vocational Technical College, Esports Department’s dedicated study room.
Five students were occupying the most high-end Game Capsules, while all the other students in the study room looked down with disgust, angry but not daring to speak up.
“Last hit, last hit.”
“The High Ground Tower has been pushed, what are you still standing there for? Recall.”
“We lost again. Kamiyu, are you f*cking throwing on purpose?” a Yellow-Haired Pretty Boy angrily shouted.
“I already said I don’t know how to play MOBA Games, you guys forced me to join just to make up the numbers,” a small boy, less than 1.6 meters tall, with delicate features, a thin build, and thick glasses, whispered.
“I’ve never lost in an FPS Game,” Kamiyu added in an extremely soft voice.
Yellow-Hair stood up and kicked the Game Capsule Kamiyu was in: “You can’t even last hit in the ADC Lane, and you don’t change your equipment.
Are you f*cking not throwing?
How did someone as trash as you even get admitted? Did you sell your ass to the dog principal to get your admission letter?”
Kamiyu quickly stood up from the Game Pod, trembling as he said, “Classmate Huang Kun, please don’t break the Game Pod.”
“What? You’re the one using this Game Capsule, if it breaks, you’re the one paying for it.” Huang Kun deliberately kicked the Game Pod again.
The Game Pod emitted a “beep beep” warning sound.
The surrounding classmates all looked over.
“What are you looking at? Keep looking and I’ll beat you up too,” Huang Kun said arrogantly.
The nearby classmates were so scared they quickly left, not daring to provoke Huang Kun, the notorious School Bully.
Huang Kun’s three other scumbag friends all started jeering.
“How can this be.” Faced with bullying and false accusations, Kamiyu’s shoulders trembled with anger.
He had once been a substitute for a top-three team in the highest-level FPS Game tournament, the Modu Major, and single-handedly pulled off a Comeback Win as a substitute.
Using a Sniper Rifle to hold mid-lane, he eliminated an entire squad of four with three Bullets, earning the Title “Reaper.”
But due to his personality flaws, he struggled to communicate with teammates and eventually left the team.
No matter how well Kamiyu played games, he couldn’t overcome Reality. Bowing to Reality, he came to a technical college that others looked down upon.
Top-Tier Pro Level Kamiyu originally wanted to showcase his skills in the Esports Department, his strongest area, and blow up the “Fish Pond.”
Little did he know that after enrolling, he would inexplicably be targeted by the Scumbag Quartet led by Huang Kun. No one around him helped; they all watched his plight coldly, some even kicking him while he was down, joining Huang Kun and the others in bullying him.
“I really wish I could shoot this Demon dead. As long as I have a gun, I won’t lose,” Kamiyu muttered softly.
“As long as I have a gun.” He recalled a movie called “Elephant.”
“Have a gun.”
His obsessive, bloodthirsty personality flaws began to surface.
“What are you mumbling about? Your name sounds like a girl, you look like a girl, even your voice sounds like a girl,” Huang Kun said disdainfully, looking at Kamiyu.
Just as Huang Kun was about to continue humiliating Kamiyu, he saw Kamiyu reveal a fierce glare.
With a “thud,” even the tyrannical Huang Kun felt a pang of fear.
“This guy wants to kill someone,” Huang Kun thought fearfully in his heart.
Being the type to bully the weak but fear the strong, Huang Kun quickly left after uttering his harsh words.
Once everyone in the study room had left, leaving only Kamiyu alone, his blood-red vision faded, and he loosened his clenched fist.
Kamiyu sighed and muttered to himself, “It’s a shame reality isn’t a game. Or rather, games aren’t reality. If only I could be inside a game.”
He knew all too well that in reality, he couldn’t even steady a small pistol loaded with bullets, let alone kill Huang Kun and the others.
Suddenly, the Game Capsule beside him emitted a crackling sound of electrical sparks.
“What? Did Huang Kun really kick it and break it?” Kamiyu turned to inspect the Game Pod.
He noticed that the external display screen of the Game Pod had turned blue.
“It’s really broken now,” Kamiyu frowned.
“Crackle, crackle.”
Suddenly, a line of text appeared on the display: 【Do you want to turn reality into a game?】
“Damn, the school’s security system is supposed to be as tight as a bank’s, and it got hacked?” Kamiyu exclaimed in surprise.
“How could reality turn into a game? That’s just a cliché from cheap novels,” Kamiyu mocked.
The screen changed, displaying: 【YeS/No】
Kamiyu reconsidered. In reality, he had no one to rely on and nowhere to turn. Old enough to have left the orphanage, lacking education, and unable to find work due to his personality.
“I need to change myself.”
“I have nothing to lose but this worthless life.”
“Afraid of change? What a joke.” The one who deserved the most ridicule was himself.
Kamiyu lay back down in the Game Capsule and without hesitation tapped 【YeS】 on the screen.
The lid of the Game Pod automatically closed.
A beam of white light, unlike anything before, struck Kamiyu.
At that moment, a new line of text appeared on the display, overwriting and replacing the “entire” Game Pod interface.
【Game Start】
“Where is this?” Kamiyu opened his eyes.
He found himself in a small apartment of about 10 square meters.
“A Black Sphere? This isn’t going to be like Slaughter City, is it? I don’t want to wear that black bodysuit.”
Kamiyu saw a purely black, highly futuristic-looking Black Sphere, roughly one cubic meter in size, resting motionless on the carpet.
“Another newcomer has arrived,” a gloomy Suited Man said.
“Hehe, finally a woman, and a pretty one at that. No matter what’s going on, let me have some fun with you first,” a Hooligan with a Mohawk hairstyle and a Lip Stud walked toward Kamiyu.
“A woman? Is this Mohawk talking about me?” Kamiyu was utterly confused.
His mind racing, Kamiyu quickly checked his own body.
His hands were fair and delicate, with slender, onion-like fingers. He touched his face—it felt incredibly smooth and tender.
Panicked, Kamiyu felt his chest. The sensation was surprisingly pleasant, like an oversized mouse.
“Oh no.”
“Hey, touching yourself already? Little beauty, you’re quite the player,” Mohawk whistled.
Flustered, Kamiyu scrambled to the glass window and caught a faint reflection of his appearance.
Bright pink hair, with even his eyebrows and pupils tinted pink. His delicate oval face exuded a cold, stern aura. Beneath the Jungle Camo Cloak, he wore a Tactical Bodysuit with straps.
“Isn’t this the famous pink-haired character from XX Frontline, the NTW-40 Anti-Materiel Sniper Rifle, also known as the African Cannon?”
Kamiyu played every FPS game there was—any character with a gun, she played.
Now, she never expected to become the very female character she used for casual, laid-back entertainment.
As the saying goes, “The pinker the hair, the fiercer the fighter.”
Kamiyu had now become an absolute force to be reckoned with—not only was her name feminine, but even her gender had changed to female.
Kamiyu took a deep breath. She understood her situation: she had been transported into a game, most likely due to some alien’s twisted sense of humor, a survival game where death was a real possibility.
And she had even turned into a female character from another “shooter” game.
None of this bothered her.
“Playing a survival game is fine, transforming is fine, but where’s my gun?” Kamiyu screamed inwardly.
