Chapter 202: Cut in Half
Chapter 202: Cut in Half
“The wind today is rather boisterous,” Kamiyu gently smoothed her pink hair.
Jack stood before Kamiyu like a statue, shielding her from the wind and rain. This gale, capable of slicing through buildings, was nothing to Jack with his off-the-charts Defense Power.
He even arrogantly removed his Battle Armor, baring his upper body to reveal thick muscles, feeling the bone-chilling cold wind.
“Hmm, slightly stronger than the cold winds of ten years ago. I’ll keep feeling it out,” Jack said with a chiseled face, speaking like a true powerhouse.
“Alright, alright, you can only bare your upper body at most. No taking off anything below the waist,” Kamiyu sternly warned after seeing Jack remove his clothes.
“Big Brother Jack is so amazing,” Dunzi said, widening his eyes and peeking out from behind the earthen wall.
“Is this what a powerhouse is like?” Chu Feng thought to himself, looking at Jack who stood with his arms crossed, head tilted back, and a disdainful gaze toward the enemy, feeling a sense of admiration well up inside him.
“A true man should be like this.”
The bull-headed creature angrily shouted, “Stop thinking about women all the time. If you want to have fun, don’t blame it on me. Hurry up and look back!”
At this, Brother Butterfly, having been exposed, blushed and embarrassedly turned to look toward Kamiyu.
“H-how is this possible? My Absolute Wind Blade can slice through steel buildings like tofu. H-how can he withstand it? And he’s even bare-chested. Is he even human?” Brother Butterfly exclaimed in shock, his mouth agape.
“Do you have any other Techniques?” Jack said in a deep voice.
“Don’t look down on me!” Feeling underestimated, Brother Butterfly flapped his wings with all his might.
A tornado instantly formed on the ground, sweeping everything around into a blade storm, shredding it all into pieces.
“Hold on tight!” Ji Yue activated her Skill, and tree vines wrapped around everyone, securing them to the earthen wall Dunzi had created.
The two Ability Users behind Brother Butterfly were almost blown away.
“Be careful, don’t hurt our own people!”
“Aim forward!”
“Now this is more like it,” Jack said, his resolute face widening his eyes as he spread his arms, feeling the blade-filled gale.
The blade tornado was ineffective against Jack. His feet seemed nailed to the ground, unwavering and unyielding no matter how strong or painful the wind became.
Kamiyu closed her eyes and clung to Jack’s thigh, her entire body lifted off the ground by the tornado.
“What? Is he even human? Why is my Blade Tornado useless against him?” Brother Butterfly’s wings flapped until they grew hot, yet it was all in vain, achieving nothing.
“Because I am human, and you are beasts,” Jack said, flexing.
“Hiss.” “Looking for death!” “Butterfly, tear him apart!”
The tornado turned into a dark, malevolent storm, even breaking the branches of the Fear Emperor Tree with its wind blades.
“Wow, stop flexing and finish it off already!” Kamiyu tightly hugged Jack’s thigh as her entire body floated up. She was wearing a skirt but had no time to worry about exposure.
At this moment, the 17 Ability Users grinding in the Stadium Instance Dungeon all stopped and turned to look at the commotion outside the stadium.
“Butterfly is so useless. Does it take such a huge effort to deal with a few weaklings?”
“Is he just showing off his ability? After reaching the fourth tier, abilities don’t just double—they increase a hundredfold. With Butterfly using this move, there’s no chance of survival for the opponent.”
Ignoring the commotion outside, Brother Baojun said, “They’re all just a bunch of trash. Let’s focus on grinding the instance dungeon and continue the blood sacrifice.”
“Hiss, this wind is filled with hatred. Quick, devour it!” Mephisto urged excitedly.
Jack focused his gaze and saw that within the dark, malevolent storm were thousands of distorted faces—humans, Aberrant Beasts, demons—formed from dust and debris swirling in the tempest.
These wind blades didn’t harm others through air pressure; they “gnawed” at flesh and blood using these twisted forces of hatred.
“So that’s how it is,” Jack said calmly.
But in the next moment, he erupted with the aura of a Hell warrior, like an Asura.
“Time to kill!”
A sword hummed.
The Dark Gold Sword Doombringer, hearing the command, unlike Lei Yao’s passive acceptance, actively unsheathed itself and swiftly flew into Jack’s hand.
After the previous battle where Kamiyu electrocuted Hou Ao, Mephisto had feasted to his fill, and the Doombringer had also “drunk the soup,” replenishing its durability.
Now, the Doombringer could withstand Jack’s extravagance.
With just a slight twist of his wrist, without even raising his arm, Jack wielded the sword.
Water-Calling Sword Style: Sever Reality.
The black blade emitted a roar that shook the very space around it.
Hearing the familiar hum of the sword, Kamiyu shouted, “Wow, seriously? Against these trash, do you need to flex so hard? Using your ultimate skill?”
Though the wind was loud, the three newcomer players behind her heard it and felt a mix of anticipation and confusion.
“Ultimate skill? Jack’s using his ultimate skill? But there’s no wind-up,” Chu Feng said, watching Jack’s movements ahead.
“Big Brother Jack isn’t like you, always shouting and screaming,” Ji Yue remarked.
Dunzi, no longer stuttering, exclaimed, “Look!”
The fierce wind abruptly stopped.
The opposing Ability Users couldn’t comprehend the terrifying technique of the Dark Gold Sword in Jack’s hand, thinking he hadn’t even made a move yet, still enduring Brother Butterfly’s dark, malevolent storm.
“Huh, why did the wind stop?”
“Keep blowing! Why did you stop?” the Rhino Monster Ability User urged.
The two Ability Users turned to look at Brother Butterfly.
From Brother Butterfly’s perspective.
“Huh, why is the world splitting? Why is this man in front of me cut in half?” Brother Butterfly wondered inwardly.
“Oh, I get it. It must be my dark, malevolent storm that shredded this man,” Brother Butterfly thought with delight.
Just as he was about to turn around to boast to his companions—
He split into two halves, his purplish-black, foul-smelling innards bursting everywhere, and a torrent of thick, stinking blood sprayed into the air.
“Gwah!” Brother Butterfly let out a strange cry before dying completely, beyond any doubt.
Behind the earthen wall, the three newcomers.
“What just happened?” Chu Feng asked, utterly baffled. “Why was there no wind-up or follow-through? How do you even dodge something like that?”
“This… this is too brutal,” Dunzi said, feeling nauseous as he recalled scenes of pig slaughtering back in the countryside.
“Ah!” Ji Yue was so frightened she closed her eyes.
Kamiyu thought to herself, “Impressive, right? The Doombringer—it’s just that broken. No wind-up, no follow-through.”
If the Dark Gold Sword was formidable, then Kamiyu, who had battled Lei Yao and Mephisto on the Crimson Earth back then, was even more so.
Enduring hundreds of those shameless Space Slashes and causality-based strikes head-on.
Kamiyu turned back to Chu Feng and said, “This is nothing. Jack is only using 1% of the Dark Gold Sword’s power. Its most terrifying Technique hasn’t even been unleashed yet.”
Kamiyu was referring to the Water-Calling Sword Style, Reverse Causality.
Struck first, then the sword is swung—impossible to evade, utterly shameless. She could only counter it by trading blows with a massive amount of Ancestral Legendary Armor.
