Chapter 37: Damage Reflect? Reflect Your Damage Reflect

Chapter 37: Damage Reflect? Reflect Your Damage Reflect

As soon as Zhong Hao heard Kamiyu’s request, he understood what she intended to do.

It might work—no, as long as they coordinated smoothly, it would definitely succeed.

Brother Dong pondered for a moment before saying, “If I sacrifice to obtain this ability, I’ll pay a very heavy price.”

Before Kamiyu could speak, Zhong Hao straightforwardly stated, “Let’s get through this first. Afterward, we’ll each rely on our own abilities.”

Gritting his teeth, Brother Dong pulled a short blade from his void Storage. The snow-white patterns on the blade flashed before everyone’s eyes.

“This is a Legendary Tier short blade. I hope using it on myself won’t kill me instantly,” Brother Dong said, taking deep breaths.

His hands trembled uncontrollably.

Suddenly, with a flash of resolve, he stabbed the blade into his abdomen. Instantly, blood gushed out, and even his intestines spilled forth.

Seeing this scene, Kamiyu clenched her teeth, forcing herself to stay calm.

Brother Dong trembled all over, stammering as he spoke, “To the Demon King of Pain, I sacrifice my suffering, praying for the ability to extend the duration of skill effects…”

“……” He whispered the final duration, keeping it hidden.

Immediately, Brother Dong began convulsing, collapsing to the ground in agony, foaming at the mouth.

A deep purple glow enveloped Jack’s body.

During this time, Kamiyu had already explained her plan to Jack.

Brother Dong had sacrificed his pain to grant Jack a buff that extended the duration of skill effects.

Everything was ready; all that was needed was the final push.

“It’s time. Fire,” Kamiyu shouted loudly.

Two gunshots rang out—bang, bang.

Jack fired two shots in succession.

Two clinking sounds followed as the bullets were deflected.

“How about it? Can your defense Talent withstand it at this distance?” Kamiyu asked.

Jack’s Steel Fortress Talent made his Defense Power stronger the farther away he was.

“No problem at all,” Jack replied.

Blocking two Normal bullets with 100% Damage was as easy as pie.

“Is that all? After all your efforts and schemes, this is what you come up with?” Bai Zhan said disdainfully.

He hadn’t even bothered to dodge.

Kamiyu ignored him. This was just a test; the third shot was the main event.

“This shot must hit. Don’t waste my Bullet,” Kamiyu whispered.

“Don’t underestimate me. Hitting a bullseye at a hundred meters isn’t something only you can do,” Jack said seriously, pressing the gunstock against his shoulder.

“Then be careful. The next shot packs quite a punch,” Kamiyu warned.

Bai Zhan’s Razor Armor could reflect 100% of the Damage back to Jack, meaning the more powerful the bullet he fired, the greater the Damage Jack would suffer.

Kamiyu was gambling, betting on whether Jack could withstand the next shot relying solely on his Talent.

“Load, Magic Bullet, Delayed Implosion Bullet, adjustment: instant activation,” Kamiyu murmured silently.

The Attack Power of the Magic Bullet was comparable to that of a Legendary Weapon. She was confident this shot would consume at least 1 point of the opponent’s Durability.

Bang—a gunshot.

Thump—a dull sound.

The sound was different this time; the bullet embedded itself into the Razor Armor.

Then came a boom.

Bai Zhan took a step back.

Xu Liwen showed a look of astonishment, exclaiming, “One shot pushed Bai Zhan back?”

This was the first time Xu Liwen had ever witnessed such a scene.

Smug Bai Zhan showed a puzzled expression.

But he was fine; his Health hadn’t dropped.

He immediately looked up toward Jack’s side.

Too proud to notice, he failed to see that the Durability of his Razor Armor had changed from 100/100 to 99/100.

Kamiyu immediately asked, “How are you? Are you okay?”

Kamiyu saw that the right side of Jack’s chest was also bleeding profusely, with large amounts of blood flowing down from his chest.

Jack spat out a mouthful of old blood but said with an unchanged expression, “Three ribs broken. It’s fine.”

“You have fractures, and you call that fine?” Kamiyu frowned.

“This minor injury will heal if I spit on it and rub it in. It won’t affect our duel later.”

“Come on, keep loading. I believe you’ll win,” Jack said with heroic fervor.

“Hahahaha, I thought you were something, but you’re nothing special,” Bai Zhan said.

“You were nearly dead from one shot, and you still say you’re fine?”

“Hahahaha, I truly am Invincible. You ants still dare to fight me? Just accept your deaths obediently.”

Kamiyu couldn’t stand Bai Zhan’s arrogant and domineering attitude. That disgusting face deserved to be riddled with bullets, shot to pieces.

Kamiyu glared angrily at Bai Zhan, thinking, “The testing is done. It’s you who should die.”

Zhong Hao clenched his fists. Although the situation seemed extremely dire, his Passive Skill hadn’t given any warning in secret.

Zhong Hao grew increasingly excited and happy inside. There was hope. Since he hadn’t sensed any danger, Victory was within reach.

Jack’s expression remained unchanged as he calmly said, “I can’t use the upper right side of my body now. I need to close the distance to hit him.”

The closer the distance, the lower his Defense Power would be. He was prepared to sacrifice himself, but he still believed in Kamiyu, trusting that she could lead them out of this desperate situation.

Then he could have a thrilling battle with her.

She gently patted Jack’s shoulder and said, “No need to aim. Use Burst Fire.”

“Are you crazy? Don’t act recklessly,” Zhong Hao suddenly stepped forward and said.

Only Jack had means of Attack at this moment. “Let him charge in and fight,” Zhong Hao shouted.

“Let’s get through this first, then everyone can rely on their own abilities.”

“In that case, should you listen to me, or should I listen to you? Right now, you have no value whatsoever,” Kamiyu laid it out plainly.

In her eyes, Zhong Hao’s only use at this moment was as a living Enhancement Point.

If she were less moral and lowered her standards further, Kamiyu would just shoot him dead.

Zhong Hao immediately shut his mouth and put away his schemes.

He wanted to weaken Kamiyu and Jack as much as possible. If Jack charged forward, Kamiyu would have to go too; otherwise, they wouldn’t coordinate well.

Kamiyu turned back and shouted to Jack, “Listen to me, switch to Burst Fire. Just point the gun forward.”

Jack didn’t hesitate and did as told.

Kamiyu thought to herself, “Since you took a step back, it means my Magic Bullet worked.”

The time for the Decisive Battle had arrived.

She firmly chanted silently, “Load Magic Bullet – Delayed Implosion Round, Curving Bullet.”

“Fire.”

“Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom.” Even the gunshots had changed.

Kamiyu no longer held back, directly Stacking Magic Bullets.

“Hahahaha, you really aren’t afraid of death. The Damage Reflect from one shot nearly killed you just now, and now you dare to fire an entire Magazine in Burst Fire?”

“I’m afraid you’ll be reflected to death without a whole corpse,” Bai Zhan said arrogantly.

“And what are you even shooting? It doesn’t hurt at all,” Bai Zhan said indifferently.

However, Kamiyu had just made an adjustment, switching the bullets to instant activation.

Now she didn’t use instant activation, but changed to voice control.

Of course, it had no effect at the moment because nothing had exploded yet.

She shouted, “Jack.”

After emptying his magazine, Jack yelled loudly, “Golden Body.”

Jack’s entire body glowed with golden light, with deep purple mist radiating from his surface.

The duration of the golden Invincible effect was extended to 30 seconds.

He then shouted, “Thorns Reflection.”

With everything ready, Kamiyu shouted, “Explode.”

The sound of “Boom, boom, boom, boom” erupted.

The two entered a 30-second cycle of Damage Reflect.

It was a test of who would hold out first.

“Keep shooting until the 30-second Invincibility Window ends,” Kamiyu reminded.
