Chapter 66: Sayuki’s Relaxation Time (Two)
Chapter 66: Sayuki's Relaxation Time (Two)
Original: Chapter 66: Sayuki’s Relaxation Time 2
When I wear a tracksuit over bare skin, there’s a gap between my skin and the fabric that feels strange.
Sometimes, I’m suddenly struck by an uneasy feeling like my skin is exposed, but when I worry and check my chest, I’m properly covered and protected by the cloth. That feeling is indescribable, so it makes my heart race quite a bit.
Carrying that strange feeling in my chest, I returned home.
“I’m home!”
Even if I say it, there’s no reply from anyone. I live alone, after all. It’s not like I feel lonely about it now. I’ve long since gotten used to it.
First, I turned on the bath switch.
I entered my room and set down my Shark Backpack.
Then, I unzipped the tracksuit and tossed it aside. My breasts were exposed.
“Phew… What a liberating feeling…”
It felt like the stress I’d been accumulating daily was being released.
“But still, taking it off in the Dungeon feels even more liberating.”
Wait, what am I even saying? Instead of saying silly things, I should hurry up and take a bath.
It’s just not fitting for a Girl in the Bloom of Youth to stay covered in the smell of sweat and blood. Even at home, I need to stay clean and cute.
I tossed off my skirt, Black Tights, and panties. Holding the freshly removed Black Tights, panties, and my Smartphone, I headed to the bathroom.
The Black Tights and panties go in the laundry course. I’m a bit envious they get washed automatically. I have to wash my own body myself, you know. Since I’m tired, that’s a bit of a pain.
With my Smartphone, fully waterproofed, in hand, I entered the bath.
I immediately started taking a shower.
“Ahhh~. This feels so good~”
The water droplets flowed down, almost licking my body~. It was nothing but pure pleasure. Along with the sweat and grime, it felt like the fatigue from the Dungeon was washing away.
I washed my hair, washed my body, and then got into the bathtub.
“Phew, paradise, paradise~♪”
The warmth of the water and the buoyancy felt so good that I completely relaxed. I stayed like that for a while, soaking and warming up in a daze.
“Ah, right. I should review today’s battle.”
I picked up my Smartphone and opened a Dungeon Strategy Site.
“Let’s see, Bloody Mantis… Bloody Mantis… Found it, found it.”
I looked at the Bloody Mantis strategy page. According to it—.
“Recommended Conquest Level is 65! Eeek!”
So the Bloody Mantis really was strong.
The Raging Orc’s Recommended Conquest Level is 80, right? Compared to that, it might be weaker, but I’m still only Level 49. It was a reckless fight.
“No wonder Miss Marta praised me.”
I challenged a fight I normally couldn’t win and survived, after all.
“The strategy for the Bloody Mantis is… let’s see, ‘Absolutely do not engage from the front. You’ll get sliced to pieces.’ It says.”
Yep, I got sliced to pieces. My clothes and skin are all torn up.
“The Bloody Mantis’s characteristic is its super high Attack Power. If you let your guard down, you’ll get your neck sliced in one hit and it’s over. However, its Durability isn’t that great, and if you can just get behind it, it’s super weak. That’s why, despite its high Attack Power, its Recommended Conquest Level is on the lower side.”
65 is on the lower side… The Red Zone really is a terrifying place.
‘It is recommended to challenge it with multiple people. If you challenge it Solo, it’s reckless unless you’re somewhat above the Recommended Conquest Level. It’s advisable to challenge it with a comfortable level margin, using long-range attacks, longer Spears, Greatswords, etc.’
So I did fight recklessly…
It was strong, the Bloody Mantis. But the reason I got into a pinch was because I neglected to check my footing.
“From now on, I need to pay more attention to the terrain too.”
A single moment of opening could mean the end of my life.
“Next is the Killer Hornet, I guess… No, I’ve read about it before. Ah, but there’s a separate page for Killer Hornet swarms.”
Let’s see—. I opened the strategy page while remembering the terrible experience I had today.
‘For Killer Hornets, please refer to a separate page. Regarding those Killer Hornets, they may attack in swarms. When they form a swarm, they become terrifyingly strong, and victim reports are endless. The reason for swarming is not yet clear, but it is believed that swarming often occurs if you attack their nest or defeat a Killer Hornet near its nest.’
Was I near a nest…? But I didn’t see any nest.
‘When they swarm, the Recommended Conquest Level becomes 100, so be cautious. Actually, I asked a Level 100 Adventurer, and they said even at Level 100, you’d probably lose and die easily. Therefore, basically, it’s safer not to fight.’
Le-, Level 100 is still impossible…?
Ahh… I got goosebumps. Maybe someday when I’m stronger, I’d like to destroy the nest itself. That would feel so refreshing.
‘Regarding strategy methods, none have been found so far. It’s thought that wiping them out with wide-area Magic might work, but the reality is we don’t know due to a lack of information.’
The thing is, I can’t use Magic…
‘So, Killer Hornet swarms are way too dangerous. If you get attacked, just desperately run for your life. Surprisingly, their chasing speed isn’t that great, so you can often escape. Low-level Adventurers, don’t even think about fighting. You’ll die. In the Dungeon, whatever happens is entirely your own responsibility. Be really careful. P.S.: If there are any conquerors, we await your information.’
I placed my Smartphone on a dry spot.
Uwah~, remembering the fight is making my Fighting Instinct surge. My body is telling me to go to the Dungeon right now and fight as my instincts urge. My body feels hot~.
“Ah~, today was fun too~”
Remembering today’s adventure, I grinned a little.
The Dungeon is fun. Too much fun. I could feel myself liking the Dungeon more and more.
But, just a little, I found myself wishing I could share this feeling with someone.
I wonder if there’s anyone. Someone I could get along with and talk about the Dungeon with—.
