Chapter 42
Chapter 42
“There isn’t any…….”
“Huh?”
“Elves, harpies, sirens, minotaurs, and so on. There’s no anatomy data for those kinds of monsters at all.”
“Ah……, I didn’t expect that.”
“Hmm.”
Honestly speaking, it wouldn’t have mattered much to just use a human’s anatomy as a base. But he wasn’t planning to keep Sia as a household homunculus forever.
Eventually, he wanted her to go hunting alongside him. For that, he needed to make Sia’s body as sturdy as possible.
It wasn’t a concern for himself anyway—he had the Indestructible Vajra Body skill, so as long as he was paying attention, he could withstand most attacks with his bare body.
Jaeha, pondering whether there was some way, eventually turned the MuTube app back on and started digging through videos. After searching for a method, he realized there were two possible approaches.
‘One is to gain a skill by watching videos of famous surgeons or that sort of thing. But I don’t need any more medical knowledge.’
Jaeha already had a proper understanding of the body from acquiring acupuncture. Of course, it wasn’t Western medicine—it was Eastern medicine, so he didn’t know the specifics precisely.
‘And the other option is to obtain a skill that lets me get specimens.’
Honestly, this one fit better. Setting up a body with a doctor’s knowledge was fine, but even a doctor wouldn’t know the anatomy of an elf or a harpy.
So in the end, he needed to acquire knowledge about monsters separately, and then obtain the ability to configure such things afterward. Factoring all that in meant double the work, which Jaeha found a bit irritating.
‘Is there no way around it? Or maybe I could summon an elf or something with summoning magic and just ask.’
Jaeha figured that if he summoned an elf with summoning magic, he might be able to learn the elf’s body structure. After saying that, he fell silent for a moment, tilted his head slightly, and spoke.
“That seems fine, doesn’t it? Summoning magic would be useful anywhere anyway.”
Whether she had heard Jaeha’s words or not, Sia spoke up.
“Are you going to learn summoning magic?”
“Yeah.”
“Wow, then could you summon something like a cute, affectionate cat for me?”
“A cat?”
“Yes!”
“Yeah. No.”
With that, Jaeha immediately started searching MuTube for videos on summoning magic.
“Oh, found one.”
After browsing through videos for a while, Jaeha came across a suitable one.
‘It’s an animation again this time.’
It couldn’t be helped—summoning magic was mostly a topic that appeared in animations anyway. And so Jaeha began watching the video.
