The morning sun was so bright I couldn’t open my eyes.
Rubbing the sleep from my eyes, I finally managed to get up and wash my face. Then Heart handed me a towel to wipe off.
“Couldn’t sleep?”
“Just too bright.”
I said it with bleary eyes, and he handed me a wooden sword with a grin. “Wake up already.”
Haha. No choice but to wake up now.
Clang, clang! I swung the wooden sword with both hands, putting everything I had into it.
“Come on, come on—your footwork’s still sloppy!”
I was getting pretty used to my morning training sessions with Heart.
The morning air felt amazing.
Hehe. Got an opening! Clang!
I aimed for Heart while he was wiping his sweat, striking from his blind spot—or so I thought. But he parried it effortlessly with one hand.
Muu. No mercy, even for a five-year-old.
I’d thought he was an archer, but turns out the sword was his weapon of choice.
Hehe. Lately, everyone’s been teaching me all sorts of things. I’m so grateful.
I was clueless about the world, and my Japanese common sense kept getting in the way. Honestly, I’d been struggling.
Sid had been teaching me reading, writing, history, and geography during our travels.
Tonight, Fernet was supposed to teach me barrier magic.
But even though I’d told them I couldn’t use magic, they didn’t seem to grasp what I meant by “can’t.”
What should I do?
“Mind if I check my status first?”
“Your status?”
After breakfast, as we were getting ready, Fernet beckoned me over.
Status, huh? The usual thing.
I can’t bring it up, though.
Don’t make a five-year-old do something that complicated.
“I see, I see. You haven’t learned that yet, have you?”
He patted my head gently as I toddled over, grinning happily.
Fernet looked like he was having the time of his life, bursting with curiosity.
“Can you say ‘Status Full Open’?”
“Status Full Open?”

W-Wait, what are all these blessings…?
You can’t use something without aptitude—that’s common sense in this world. So does that mean I can only use “Light”?
I knew the Green Spirit’s blessing had kicked in.
But these goddesses…?
Or is this just the default display?
As I stared at the status screen, lost in thought, Fernet leaned in with a “Lemme see.”
“What’s this?”
Fernet froze solid as he looked at the status screen.
Sid and Heart noticed something was off and peeked over. They froze too.
“What’re you all doing?”
Gain leaned in saying that—and froze as well.
If everyone’s shocked, then it’s definitely not the default.
I get the Green Spirit blessing.
Did those hugs from the goddesses give me their blessings…?
Me included, we all froze in front of the status screen for a good while.
“Marie, what the hell does this mean?”
“I have no idea either! Uh, Gain, your face is super scary right now.”
Gain’s face was way too close—terrifying.
I’m panicking too, you know!
“Got any idea what might’ve caused this?”
Sid yanked Gain away from me.
For now, I gave them a quick rundown of what happened on the day of the blessings.
“Hmm. So that’s what happened…”
“To think goddess blessings actually exist.”
“Can you use the other goddesses’ blessings too?”
“More importantly, what’s with that monstrous MP pool?!”
Everyone groaned in unison, turning their attention to me.
“I-I don’t know! This is my first time even seeing my status. I’d given up on magic entirely. Up until now, I thought I only had the Green blessing!”
