“She can’t do it, Zhuang Ge, she really can’t!”

Ye Junpo grew frantic, unable to hold back his furious shouts: “Back then you said a boss saw potential in me and wanted to invest, but you never mentioned this was a loan shark operation!! Zhuang Ge, this is fraud! Pure fraud!”

Zhuang Ge’s expression darkened as he grabbed two men by their collars and flung them aside: “So what if I’m scamming you? The contract’s clear as day – you borrowed my money, and now you think you can just walk away?”

“If you won’t pay up, your daughter will settle the debt!”

Zhuang Ge lunged at Ye Yunxi again. Both Ye Junpo and Ye Yunji panicked, but they were too weak – a single club strike sent them crumpling to the ground, unable to get up.

“Yunxi, run!”

These thugs had no sense of reason. If they caught her, if they caught her…

Ye Junpo wailed in despair. This was his only daughter, the precious treasure he’d cherished since she was born!

Run?

There was no running!

Zhuang Ge sneered. Catching such a delicate young girl would require no effort at all!

He seized Ye Yunxi’s arm, but before he could react, the girl had already gripped his thick wrist and twisted it hard!

The agonized scream cut through Ye Junpo’s cries, making everyone stare in shock.

What just happened?

This delicate-looking girl actually broke Zhuang Ge’s arm!!

Weren’t this family supposed to be as weak as newborn chicks?

“Who gave you permission to touch me?”

Ye Yunxi coldly released her grip as Zhuang Ge clutched his arm and rolled away in pain.

The remaining thugs stared at her dumbfounded, as if looking at some monstrous creature.

“Also, this is my home. Who gave you permission to enter? Who gave you permission to hit people? Who gave you permission to smash our windows?”

With each question, Ye Yunxi took another step forward, her cold, imposing aura growing more intense with every movement.

She was already beautiful, but when her dark eyes swept over them with that deadly calm, her vermilion lips parting slightly and her long hair flowing in the air, she resembled nothing less than a goddess of slaughter descending upon the mortal world!

Such overwhelming presence!

The thugs instinctively shrank back, not a single one daring to move.

“Y-Your father owes money…”

Zhuang Ge gritted his teeth while clutching his arm, glaring viciously at her.

“We never said we wouldn’t pay. Ten thousand a month – coming to collect before it’s due, who gave you the nerve?”

Ye Yunxi sneered, looking down at Zhuang Ge with contempt: “The Ye Family may be down, but we’re not so far gone that we’ll let people walk all over us!”

Damn this little bitch! Who did she think she was, talking to them in that tone!

Humiliated and enraged, Zhuang Ge shouted: “Get her!”

Only then did the thugs raise their weapons and charge.

Ye Yunxi frowned slightly, directly exchanged ten points of stamina, and raised her fists without hesitation.
