Chapter 122 – Continue Exploring, Searching for Rare Resources

As mechanical beings, Terminators feel no pain. Without the means to completely destroy them, they are virtually invincible!

“Pfft!”

The Formless Ghost’s tail struck first, but Han Xing neither dodged nor evaded, allowing the tail to pierce cleanly through its chest.

If this were a normal human, having their heart—a vital organ—pierced would mean either instant death or severe injury, rendering them immobile. Yet Han Xing merely paused slightly, its expression unchanged. Then, with one arm, it grabbed the Formless Ghost’s tail and, with a forceful pull, hoisted its entire body onto the creature’s back. In a few quick steps, it reached the Formless Ghost’s head.

Han Xing wrapped one arm tightly around the Formless Ghost’s neck while the other transformed into a sharp blade, thrusting directly into the creature’s eye socket.

Sensing danger, the Formless Ghost thrashed wildly, trying to shake Han Xing off. Its whip-like tail lashed out in all directions, but Han Xing clung stubbornly to its back like a piece of iron.

“Splurt!”

The blade plunged precisely into the Formless Ghost’s eye socket. Black blood sprayed out as the creature let out an ear-splitting shriek, its body stiffening before collapsing limply to the ground.

Han Xing leaped lightly off its back and, expressionless, moved to attack another Ghost Wraith.

Meanwhile, Han Ling had also dealt with its Formless Ghost and was heading toward another Ghost Wraith.

If Formless Ghosts couldn’t last more than a few seconds against Han Xing and Han Ling, assassinating Ghost Wraiths was even easier.

By the time Han Xing and Han Ling finished off the two Ghost Wraiths, Tie Ying and Tie Yi had eliminated the other three.

With the threats swiftly neutralized, the four Terminators did not return to the train. Han Xing and Han Ling plunged directly into the zombie horde, targeting the more dangerous 6th-Order zombies that posed a greater threat to the train.

Tie Ying and Tie Yi stood like two turrets guarding either side of the train, continuously raining Super Plasma Cannons and ice-fire projectiles into the zombie masses.

With Han Xing and Han Ling conducting precise assassinations of high-level zombies in front, and these two nearly limitless-ammo turrets behind them, backed by the train’s weapons for precise follow-up shots, the three-pronged coordination ensured that not a single zombie could breach within 50 meters of the train.

They still had the Thunderbolt Tower, Gravity Vortex Cannon, and Antimatter Particle Beam Turret unused. Moreover, they could activate the train’s Shield during the critical final phase. At this point, the situation was essentially under control!

The zombies on this Slaughter Platform could no longer pose any real threat to them.

As zombies fell one after another, the Points tally kept climbing. Yun Feifei glanced at it—in just half an hour, the Points had already exceeded 6,500!

At an exchange rate of 10 Points for 1 Infinite Coin, they had earned 650 Infinite Coins.

For ordinary players, such gains would be cause for celebration. But having earned tens of thousands of Infinite Coins in just a single day yesterday, Yun Feifei and Meng Ruoyun merely raised their eyebrows slightly, their expressions largely unmoved.

Another hour or so passed, and finally, no more zombies entered the train station.

Their Points tally now stood temporarily at 12,650.

There was still considerable time before Depart Station, and Xiao Wuwang remained inside Carriage No. 2.

After discussing it, Yun Feifei and Meng Ruoyun decided to try to kill more zombies while collecting Supply Crates to earn additional Points.

With two people and four Terminators, even if surrounded by a horde of zombies, there shouldn’t be anything capable of stopping them from escaping.

Thus, Yun Feifei and Meng Ruoyun, accompanied by Han Xing, Han Ling, Tie Ying, and Tie Yi, headed toward the location of the Supply Crate ten kilometers away.

The commotion caused by Yun Feifei’s group was considerable, but they didn’t mind at all. When encountering large zombie hordes, they would stop to harvest a wave of Points.

If the numbers were small, they simply ignored them and continued toward the Supply Crate.

The Supply Crate was located on a bustling commercial street.

The number of zombies here was no less than at the train station.

Yun Feifei immediately decided to wipe out the zombies here before retrieving the Supply Crate.

Of course, the two of them wouldn’t risk themselves. After having the Terminators clear a relatively tall building nearby, they temporarily took shelter there and then ordered the four Terminators to charge directly into the commercial street.

The four Terminators made no attempt to conceal their movements, and the noise they generated quickly drew the attention of the zombies in the commercial street.

Groups of zombies surged from every corner, frantically lunging at the Terminators.

Following the same strategy as before, Han Xing and Han Ling plunged directly into the zombie horde, prioritizing slaying the level-six zombies, while Tie Ying and Tie Yi relied on their powerful firepower to eliminate large numbers of zombies.

The four Terminators, leveraging their formidable firepower and nearly indestructible Trait, slaughtered zombies with ferocity.

Since there was no train to protect, the four Terminators would finish off one group of zombies and then push deeper into the horde, continuing their frenzied carnage.

As a result, the overall slaying efficiency here was much higher than at the train station!

This slaughter lasted nearly two hours, until the entire commercial street was littered with corpses, with not a single mobile zombie left.

Even so, Han Xing and Han Ling returned, merging into Yun Feifei and Meng Ruoyun respectively.

With Han Xing and Han Ling protecting them, Yun Feifei and Meng Ruoyun’s safety was greatly assured. Their physical bodies were still relatively fragile, and they didn’t want to suffer an unexpected setback.

After all, no one knew whether one or two Ghost Wraiths or Formless Ghosts might still be lurking in some corner.

By the time they descended the building, Tie Yi had already retrieved the Supply Crate.

Yun Feifei directly stored it in her Portable Space.

Checking the time, there were still over four hours left.

Meng Ruoyun said, “Feifei, we have plenty of time now. Why don’t we search around here a bit more? Big Brother Wuwang said that even on a Slaughter Platform, if you’re good at exploring, you can still find some rare and valuable resources.”

Yun Feifei nodded. “No problem.”

Meng Ruoyun asked, “Which way should we go?”

Yun Feifei replied, “Let’s head northwest! Lao Tie said there’s another concentrated zombie nest there. According to radar feedback, its scale is even larger than this commercial street! If there are rare resources, the probability of finding them there is likely higher.”

Meng Ruoyun agreed. “Alright! Let’s go there then!”

Before long, the group arrived at their destination.

It was an abandoned factory, yet the massive workshop was densely packed with zombies!

Yun Feifei and Meng Ruoyun exchanged a glance, both seeing the gravity in each other’s eyes.

Under normal circumstances, even a factory of this size shouldn’t have this many zombies.

The fact that so many zombies had gathered here undoubtedly indicated an unusual reason behind it.

Yun Feifei and Meng Ruoyun both felt an ominous premonition rising in their hearts.

“Sister Feifei, should we kill them?” Meng Ruoyun said.

Yun Feifei frowned in thought, and soon her expression turned resolute. “Since we’re already here, we can’t go back empty-handed. However, we won’t follow the previous plan. Let Tie Ying and Tie Yi lure the Zombies away, and we’ll sneak in to see what’s inside. I just don’t know if you’re afraid?”
