Chapter 123 – The Terror of Level ７ Zombies

“Alright!” Yun Feifei responded, immediately ordering Tie Ying to follow Tie Yi’s lead and lure the zombies away from the factory.

A flicker of fear passed through Meng Ruoyun’s eyes, but she quickly nodded with determination. “Okay!”

Yun Feifei squeezed her hand. “Don’t worry, with Han Ling here, there won’t be any danger!”

Meng Ruoyun knew Yun Feifei wanted her to gain more experience. Taking a deep breath, she said, “Feifei, let’s go. I can do it.”

After each fused with an Aurora Phantom Mech, the two headed straight for the factory.

Zombies perceive their surroundings and prey through electromagnetic waves, and the electromagnetic waves emitted by the Aurora Phantom Mech perfectly blended with the environment. Thus, without alerting a single zombie, the two silently infiltrated the factory’s interior.

Once inside the factory building, they immediately halted.

In the center of the building lay a massive cocoon!

The surface of the cocoon was covered in dark red patterns, pulsing like blood vessels. It was clear at a glance that something terrifying seemed to be incubating within!

“Feifei, what is this?” Meng Ruoyun asked, her voice trembling slightly.

The two communicated via brainwaves through Han Xing and Han Ling.

Yun Feifei stared intently at the giant cocoon, her brow furrowed. “Judging by this aura and the surrounding conditions, it’s likely incubating some powerful entity. Considering the zombies we encountered earlier, I suspect this contains a Level 7 Zombie.”

“Level 7 Zombie?” Meng Ruoyun’s eyes widened. “Big Brother Wuwang said there’s a qualitative leap between Level 4 and Level 7 Zombies. Level 7 Zombies not only possess superhuman physical strength but are also highly likely to have special abilities. Can we handle it?”

A flash of fighting spirit gleamed in Yun Feifei’s eyes. “So what if it’s Level 7? Isn’t it still incubating? How about this: you step back first, and I’ll test its capabilities. If it truly has unstoppable power, we’ll retreat immediately without lingering.”

Meng Ruoyun fell silent; she actually shared the same thought.

At that moment, the giant cocoon trembled slightly, and a translucent Shield instantly unfolded, firmly blocking the terrifying energy beam.

Once Tie Ying finished charging, with a hum, a thick energy beam roared out, piercing straight through the zombie horde in front of the giant cocoon and crashing fiercely onto the cocoon itself.

Under such a ferocious attack, the giant cocoon’s surface instantly exploded into a massive bloody hole. Dark red liquid gushed out like a fountain, emitting a nauseating stench of decay. The cocoon walls around the bloody hole trembled incessantly, as if enduring immense agony.

Suddenly, a low and terrifying roar emanated from within the giant cocoon, followed by violent shaking.

Yun Feifei stared intently at the cocoon, her heart racing uncontrollably: “Is this Monster about to awaken?”
