Chapter 86: Exactly the Same

Chapter 86: Exactly the Same

At the Main City gate, a petite “little girl” wearing a Mage Robe was pulling along a burly, muscular man over two meters tall who wore no clothes, exposing his solid muscles.

The stark contrast drew the attention of everyone around, all eyes fixed on Kamiyu and Jack.

Her three running steps didn’t cover as much distance as one of Jack’s strides.

Jack wanted to pick Kamiyu up and run, but he suppressed that thought. Maintaining his cool, flexing style, he allowed himself to be pulled along by Kamiyu.

However, a person trying to flex being dragged by a little girl only heightened the contrast.

The onlookers sighed with regret: “The Invincible Guild really got there first.”

“No wonder. They’re loaded. Offering Legendary Tier Armor right off the bat—equipment that most Squad Captains and Guild Leaders might not even afford—who else could do that?” said a Veteran Player.

“Don’t just blame the gear. I think this Big Shot named Kamiyu is like some big shot in reality who has a thing for little girls,” remarked another Player.

Kamiyu felt her reputation was taking serious damage.

The two arrived in the Wilderness Zone. Following the Map’s guidance under Kamiyu’s lead, they reached a remote spot.

A man and a woman, in the wilderness, the man wearing only briefs—it was truly a scene that sparked imagination.

“Why are you only coming now? I’ve been waiting for ages,” Kamiyu said with a hint of dissatisfaction.

Agreed-upon playmates, yet only one entered the game; it felt like being stood up. No, it was being stood up.

Jack replied, “I was worried you might not be used to my diet. I bought a lot of ingredients in the Real World, plus pillows, blankets, a mattress, and some daily necessities.”

Kamiyu now felt both awkward and touched.

Awkward because she had misunderstood him, thinking he didn’t want to play with her; touched because he was considerate, thinking about her need to eat and sleep in reality.

Kamiyu thought to herself, Jack might look like a rough, tough guy, but he actually knows how to care for others and consider their convenience.

Jack indicated that in the Black Sphere Game, he could precisely calculate Damage distribution, so handling such small matters in daily life was naturally within his capability.

Kamiyu still wasn’t quite accustomed to others being good to her or expressing her true feelings openly. So, she turned her head away and said tsundere-ly, “Don’t underestimate me. I can eat anything. I’m not some pampered person.”

Jack raised an eyebrow: “Really? Then how about I let you try my military Rations?”

Kamiyu didn’t answer, just snorted.

Without looking at him, she said discontentedly, “Hurry up and put on some clothes. This is the Wilderness Zone. Aberrant Beast Demons are far stronger here than in reality. Don’t get bitten to death by Monsters in one hit.”

Of course, Kamiyu was talking nonsense. One was a Beta Tester Boss who could one-shot a level 15 Dungeon Boss with a basic attack; the other was a Barbarian Warrior Tank with the Steel Fortress Talent and several methods of Defense without losing Health.

One focused on attack, the other on defense—what kind of Monster could possibly harm them? Kamiyu just didn’t want to see Jack in only briefs, looking like a Pervert.

“Is this specially made for me?” Jack asked as he put on the Legendary Tier Armor, the Black-Scaled Snake Armor.

Kamiyu didn’t answer, instead asking, “What about those pants I made for you earlier in the Black Sphere Room? Why aren’t you wearing them?”

“You mean the 【Suppressing Cold Iron Leggings】?”

“Exactly. Later, we’re going dungeon grinding, including a very important instance dungeon to obtain a crucial item for building the Sanctuary. I’ll need your help.” Kamiyu shared the information she knew with Jack.

After listening, Jack said, “You want my help? That’s no problem, but…”

“But what?” Kamiyu’s heart skipped a beat, wondering if he was about to make demands. Well, Jack’s skills were crucial, so as long as his conditions weren’t too excessive, she could agree.

Looking at his exposed body, a bad thought crossed Kamiyu’s mind—could this pervert be about to make some disgusting request like licking something?

Jack caressed the armor as if it were a precious treasure. “The things you gave me are too valuable. I can’t bear to wear them.”

“Huh?”

Kamiyu was truly left speechless by this weirdo. She thought he was going to make demands, that she’d have to make a major decision or sacrifice.

And instead, he says he can’t bear to wear it?

“My skills can withstand attacks. I just tested it—these so-called veteran players aren’t all that strong.” Jack spoke confidently.

“Please just wear the armor, okay, dear brother? The dungeon I’m going to tackle is no joke. Those useless players don’t dare set foot in it.

Besides, what’s so precious about these? As long as I have materials, I can make as many as I want.” Kamiyu said helplessly.

“That Legendary Tier 【Black-Scaled Snake Armor】 was just something I whipped up after casually taking down a Dungeon Boss. I have eight or ten more pieces stored away in my Storage. Use them as you like—if they break, I can’t even be bothered to repair them.” Kamiyu said in a show-off tone.

With the Construction Sage’s Talent, she really could afford to be this extravagant.

Using the 【Material Saving】 recipe, one set of materials could be stretched to make three, allowing her to mass-produce Legendary Tier armor.

Jack widened his eyes and looked down at Kamiyu. “Really?”

Kamiyu said irritably, “What do I gain from lying to you? Hurry up and put it on. Time waits for no one.”

Jack nodded and immediately put on the two pieces of armor.

With a flash of blue light, a burly man clad entirely in black battle armor stood before Kamiyu.

The armor on his left shoulder was a massive snake’s head, while the right shoulder armor featured three protruding spikes. The battle armor was covered in scales and emitted an ominous black aura that felt suffocating just to be near.

His lower body was clad in silver-black iron armor that clanked with every step. The light reflecting off the iron armor sent chills down one’s spine.

Kamiyu raised an eyebrow and said, “Try taking out the 【Dragon Slayer Blade】 too?”

Jack pulled out a two-handed Dragon Slayer Blade from the void, longer than his own height. Its door-like broad blade exuded an aura that spoke of “a heavy blade without an edge, great skill appearing clumsy.”

At a glance, it seemed like a formidable weapon. Combined with Jack’s battle-hardened gaze, he appeared even more imposing and terrifying than those from the previous Frontline Team.

“This is it, this is the feeling.” Kamiyu swallowed hard.

“Close your right eye and rest the longsword on your shoulder,” Kamiyu instructed.

“What for?”

“Just do it, hurry up.” Kamiyu urged.

Jack closed one eye and shouldered the longsword.

“Bend over.”

“Yes, yes, yes.”

Jack was being manipulated by Kamiyu.

Exactly the same—if you dyed his hair black or put on a helmet, he would look exactly like Gazi.

Kamiyu decided that later, when they looted some gear, she would make him a helmet.
