Chapter 46: Clothing Mending
Chapter 46: Clothing Mending
Original: Chapter 46: Clothing Mending
Three Potions were completed. A message appeared, informing me that I had gained Experience Points and my Level had reached 45. I also earned a Skill Point.
I also got 5 Skill Points from the Ocean Metal gathering Quest Reward, so altogether, I had accumulated enough points to raise the Skill Level of 〈Potion Create〉.
I promptly upgraded the Skill Level.
“Whoa! Whoooooa!”
I was able to see a wonderful message.
‘Potion Creation Time has been reduced to 20 minutes.’
“The Potion creation time got shortened again!”
I’m happy. So happy. Super happy!
I’m so happy I feel like jumping for joy. I actually did a little hop.
Since the Slime was staring at me intently, I squished it with a pich under my foot while hopping. I was also happy that a Mana Gemstone Dropped. I made sure to collect it properly while still hopping.
“This means the pace of making Potions will increase again~!”
Every time I make a Potion, I’ll gain even more Experience Points, and I’ll be able to earn even more money. It’s nothing but good things for me. It makes coming to the Dungeon even more fun.
Also, I had completely forgotten, but there was a highlighted notification saying I could learn the Skill 〈Adversity Enhancement〉 at Level 10 for 1 Skill Point.
“I have exactly 1 Skill Point left over. What should I do?”
Until now, I’ve used all my Skill Points on 〈Potion Create〉. Even when I was dying to learn Magic, or when I wanted to acquire convenient Skills, I always prioritized 〈Potion Create〉.
So, what about me learning 〈Adversity Enhancement〉?
“Hmm… I think I’ll consult Miss Rilril about it later…”
I’m not knowledgeable about these things at all. I’d like to get advice from someone who properly knows before making a decision.
It’s not the kind of thing I have to decide immediately anyway. I’m sure Miss Rilril will give me appropriate advice.

I finally returned to the Plaza.
It’s always bustling and lively here, which makes me a little happy and gives me a sense of “I’m back,” so it’s a relief.
I guess it’s about the time when working adults and university students start arriving. There seem to be fewer people wearing local school uniforms or tracksuits. The proportion of adults has increased, and the age range of people in the Plaza feels a bit higher now.
A woman in a ladies’ suit and high-heeled shoes walked happily past me. Maybe she’s going to relieve some work stress? She had that kind of look on her face.
“No matter how you look at it, high-heeled shoes aren’t suitable for the Dungeon, are they…”
Well, I come to the Dungeon in my School Uniform too, so maybe it’s similar…
“I wish there was a place to change clothes for the Dungeon.”
I think there’s quite a demand for it. I guess I can only hope someone will address it someday.
Well, as a high school student, it’s about time for me to head home. After finishing my business in the Plaza, I should end today’s adventure.
First, I headed to Miss Marta’s place. It’s the Street Stall with lots of clothes hanging on a rack.
“Hello, Miss Marta.”
“Hii~, hello, Miss Sayuki~”
It seems she remembered my name. That makes me a little happy.
“Did your School Uniform get torn?”
“Yes. It’s in pretty bad shape, though…”
I took out the tattered pieces of cloth from my backpack. These were the Blazer and Blouse until just a moment ago.
“That’s an impressive amount of tearing.”
“Do you think you can fix it…?”
“Yes, bring it on~. With this much fabric, I can fix it up in a jiffy.”
“Wow. As expected of Miss Marta.”
“Fufufu. The Dungeonfolk’s Traditional Techniques are not for show, you know.”
Miss Marta puffed out her chest and gave me a proud look. It was super cute.
“So, Miss Marta, could I ask you to mend my School Uniform?”
“Yes, of course. I’ll mend it thoroughly in one day, so could you come pick it up tomorrow?”
“Understood. Thank you very much~”
I paid 4000 Pon. That’s significantly cheaper than buying a new Blazer and Blouse.
However, just looking at today’s Quest income and expenses, I’m in the red. I thought I should take a bit better care of my clothes.
Starting tomorrow, I need to sell Potions again and earn properly.
Alright, next, let’s head to Miss Rilril’s shop.
